Reminder we’re not even supposed to know about the magnetic joycons or even the console name… never mind everything else, lol. Granted it wasn’t going to be majorly different visually, but still kinda nuts how it’s basically been revealed completely (hardware wise) before any sort of official announcement. They waited too long. If it’s coming out in April or March, they should probably reveal it within the next 2 weeks.
It wasn't revealed yet. The real reveal will be done by Nintendo. All of this is BS & fake hype rodeo by 3rd party companies & individuals online😓😤

I don't believe that's company trying to make accessories for a system would go off of leaked specs. It wouldn't make sense, if they are off on the specs and start manufacturing then the product is worthless and lose money. They must have the actual information from either Nintendo and or a 3rd party that has the actual specs. But who knows

FYI, April 17th is almost certainly not Launch Day. Nintendo Forecast a has looked into this and pointed out that some western countries, Germany in particular (where Nintendo of Europe is based), mandate shop closures on Good Friday. Nintendo will not select the 17th for launch when retails stores in a large market close the next day and possibly remain closed through the weekend. (He did name April 10th as his most likely day though.)
I hope all this hype is really pushed by nintendo cia so our brain gets programed to accept the leaks as the real thing and then POW! THE SWITCH 2 IS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT TO WHAT WE HAVE SEEN😂😂😂 That would be awesome
Nintendo was going to reveal the system, when they are gonna reveal it.
And now others have revealed it in their place. For all the talk about not messing up this transition by Furukawa a few months/years ago, they really aren't looking so good so far.

Let’s face it , accessory manufacturers pretty much leaked original switch form factor so that’s nothing new . Nintendo hanging back trying to eke out a few last sales of OG hardware isnt doing themselves any favours , Switch 2 is probably their most important launch to date , they can’t afford to fuck it up .

These accessory leaks are whatever. Based on specs that have been thrown around online for ages, so whatever.
The one thing I’d be more confident in putting money on is I don’t think we’re getting Unova remakes this year. Like, I have a hard time believing Legends Z-A would have been announced February last year, we get no news for a year, then they announce Black and White remakes are coming out BEFORE Legends, since this is all mainline Pokémon we’re talking about here.
They’re going to want a lengthy advertising cycle since BDSP was announced in February and released in November, so they don’t care if most of the game would be a known commodity for being a remake. Like, yeah, Nintendo have been announcing things closer to release lately, but Pokemon marches to a very different drum beat.
However, I do think ILCA making Black and White remakes are likely and, I’ll go a step further and say I do think an announcement is (depressingly) possible on Pokémon Day. But if anything, I’d imagine it being a reverse of what we saw with BDSP/Legends Arceus/Scarlet and Violet. Where we get Legends Z-A around the traditional November time frame, possibly earlier, though, so a Switch 2 game can be in that Holiday sales slot, Black and White Remakes next year early on, and then Gen 10 next year.

I wouldn’t say it’s 100% happening, but I do believe it’s likely they will reveal switch 2 before the end of march.

I think Nintendo is really just straight up stupid. They should have revealed the Switch 2 in September or October 2024, whether that be a trailer or direct but I just think they waited way too long.
How are they stupid this literally doesnt effect their sales at all and if they revealed the switch 2 right before the holidays that would be way more stupid it would effect holiday sales of switch 1

@The_MEMEphis I’m not talking about sales. I’m talking about the agency or lack there of, of the reveal of their own next big flagship console. I don’t know about you but if my company was about to reveal a much anticipated product I would want the first look to come from my company, I wouldn’t want leaks of the thing coming out left and right.
@kenswood2.031 I don't really see a reason to care all that much given how casual Nintendos market is most consumers won't even know about these leaks and it just doesn't really effect anything in the slightest

To make matters worse the last big games on the Switch was Zelda Tears of a Kingdom and XenoBlade Chronicles 3. All were getting know is just cheap mediocre games and tons of old ports. Nintendo is already making a bad transition to the next generation.
Absolutely no one is gonna watch a Switch 2 reveal and be like "ya know what? I was gonna buy it, but now I think I'm good on DK returns HD"
