You can, if your guesstimating. But if you want to be accurate, get you a measuring wheel or measuring tape.

Thank you bro this video help me out alot. I have a question would using this technique can it help me to know how much to charge a cut? Or how do u know how much to charge. I'm from California
Yes, the size of the lawn makes a difference in the price of the lawn. Anything that you would have to do extra like, trimming around a pool, trimming around several trees, using a smaller mower to cut a steep ditch, extra weed eater usage. These things can reflect the price. Now, many lawn care companies have different ways that they charge, so you would get 100 different opinions if you ask a lot of people. I just keep it simple. This particular lawn would be starting at $50 in my area, and that's doing mowing, trimming, and blowing. It might be different where you live, though.

Yes, my friend, and that is the best way to do it, in my opinion. Figure out how much the sqft is, then add everything else into it, meaning trimming around trees, landscaping beds, long driveways, pools, etc
