- In this video I'm going to teach you how to MOW, TRIM, EDGE and BLOW your lawn. This video is specifically catered to people who don't know how MOW, TRIM, EDGE and BLOW their lawn. There is alot of people that hasn't been taught how to cut their lawn. I will give you some basic tips on how you need to cut your lawn. Most people just get out there in their lawn, crank the mower up and start mowing, crank up the trimmer and trim and blow grass all over the place. You could be working yourself more than you need. If any of these tips that I give you in this video helps, please use them to make your mowing, trimming and blowing more efficient. If your already doing these things or if your doing them a different way, that's great. The main thing is to make it easier on yourself while your in the lawn. I’ve been doing lawn care for 35 years. I’m a one man operation who does it all. It took me 5 years or so to get my system down but this is exactly how I’ve been doing it ever since. It makes for a very nice looking yard. I don’t concentrate on speed. My goal is to provide a great result and to keep the grass healthy and thriving. By doing this I am able to charge more than my competitors. This was a great video. Keep up the good work.

Time is money. You need a balance between quantity and quality but the more you can get done in a day the more money you can make.
@JeremyD325 That is true. Also, route density and pricing are key. For example, if you do 20 lawns and charge $30 bucks per lawn, you'll make $600 that day. If I do 10 lawns and charge $60 per lawn, I would make $600 that day, and I won't be worn out by the end of the day either.
@@JeremyD325 True, but quality vs quantity. It's why construction is not always year-long. Also, it could be just a side hustle.

First find out what kind of grass you have have lurking under those weeds. Then go to H. D. or Lowes or Ace and buy a broadleaf weed killer ( either a concentrate or hose end sprayer attachment) that iis recommended for you typa of grass . The concentrate would need a one or two gallon pump sprayer which you would mix with water before spraying. Follow directions exactly with regards to amount of product that you would mix with water. Don't soak weeds. You can always come back in 2 or 3 weeks for a light follow-up. If insecure, ask for help . You can do this.

It’s way too high on the edges of the sidewalk. Needs to be lower and it would look even better

I think mulching is best I also think cutting at max height is best, you’ll have a greener lawn. Also, for the border cut, the edge of the lawn/sidewalk should be lined up on center of your mower, to avoid shaving the lawn.
Hello Anthony. The reason why I cut the border like that is because I want the edge to be standing straight up so that it would be shaped like a box on the edge. If I put 2 wheels on the grass and 2 wheels on the sidewalk, even though I'm cutting it high, it would give the edge an angled cut because the grass is higher than the sidewalk.

@jansen4282 Normally, you will get comfortable going backward before forward, but trust me, when you learn both and get good at it, you'll get done much quicker

They will be putting sod down and I believe it is Fescue. If you’re not in the area do you offer services virtually? Last year I hired someone to do my lawn and when they did the edging the grass was cut about 1 in. From the edge. I had seen several lawns that way and wondered if it was a trend. I'm back to mowing my own lawn.
