Hello Dahna, if you have time, on my channel, I have several videos that you can look at that can help you get a better lawn. Videos from using certain fertilizers, weed controls, renovations, etc. Check it out if you can
First find out what kind of grass you have have lurking under those weeds. Then go to H. The concentrate would need a one or two gallon pump sprayer which you would mix with water before spraying. Follow directions exactly with regards to amount of product that you would mix with water. I think mulching is best I also think cutting at max height is best, you’ll have a greener lawn. Also, for the border cut, the edge of the lawn/sidewalk should be lined up on center of your mower, to avoid shaving the lawn.
Hello Anthony. The reason why I cut the border like that is because I want the edge to be standing straight up so that it would be shaped like a box on the edge. If I put 2 wheels on the grass and 2 wheels on the sidewalk, even though I'm cutting it high, it would give the edge an angled cut because the grass is higher than the sidewalk.
@PoloFieldsLawnService I have been trying to get my grass together since I moved into this house in 2008. I definitely need help! I'm going to subscribe and follow your tips. I always mow high but my problem is weeds and it's never that deep pretty green like yours. 😩
Great tips 👍. Very Beautiful and healthy. A lot of homeowners are cutting g there grass way too low. The irony I am seeing this in the South where the sun is stronger, hotter, and grass can burn. Never cut your grass wet it damp
Looks great. Lawn has deep green color and looks very plush. 2 👍. Last year I hired someone to do my lawn and when they did the edging the grass was cut about 1 in. From the edge. I had seen several lawns that way and wondered if it was a trend. I'm back to mowing my own lawn.
I’m a single mother so thanks for explaining in depth cuz I don’t wanna pay to have my lawn mowed and I have had the luxury this far of never mowing but I’m about to start lol

Right now I'm at 4.25 My Lawn looks good at this height. Height of cut all depends on how your lawn looks. If it looks good at 4 inches, leave it at 4. Some people's mowers can't go any higher than 3.75. Gotta work with what you have 👍🏾

It can, lock in and let me help you
@PoloFieldsLawnService I have been trying to get my grass together since I moved into this house in 2008. I definitely need help! I'm going to subscribe and follow your tips. I always mow high but my problem is weeds and it's never that deep pretty green like yours. 😩
@@lisastrickland1466 OK, let's start from the beginning. What type of grass do you have?
@@PoloFieldsLawnService That's the problem! 🤣 I don't quite know? How can I tell?
@lisastrickland1466 Where do you live, Lisa?
Great tips 👍. Very Beautiful and healthy. A lot of homeowners are cutting g there grass way too low. The irony I am seeing this in the South where the sun is stronger, hotter, and grass can burn. Never cut your grass wet it damp
It all depends on what type of grass you have. Some grass types love the heat like Bermuda grass, St Augustine grass, etc.
Nice looking lawn !
Thank you, Ortiz 👍🏾
This is the video I needed, thanks for showing also how to blow the grass properly
You're welcome, Wilberto 👍🏾
Polo great lawn care information. Thanks for the advice.
No Problem Lenny 👍🏾
Looks great. Lawn has deep green color and looks very plush. 2 👍.
Last year I hired someone to do my lawn and when they did the edging the grass was cut about 1 in. From the edge. I had seen several lawns that way and wondered if it was a trend. I'm back to mowing my own lawn.
They were edging in too deep

I lost my dad unexpectedly recently and inherited 3.5 acres of lawn to mow. He taught me how to use the zero turn but never got the chance to teach me about methods to get the nicely manicured finished look that he always achieved. I’m excited to use these tips and hope he’d be proud of how it looks. Thank you 🥹
My condolences. If you need any more tips on mowing with a zero turn, let me know, and I'll try to help you as much as possible 🙏🏾
Just sent this to my husband! There are some things that will help him and me too! Thanks!👍🏾

Great professionalism and super professional tips. Thank you for sharing this. I will be applying them.
Thank you, Todd. Let me know how it goes for you 👍🏾
Nice. What is your cutting height ? I'm at 3 1/2 inches, TTF. With Hot weather approaching my mowers max. out too 4" which i'm about to switch up to.
Right now I'm at 4.25 My Lawn looks good at this height. Height of cut all depends on how your lawn looks. If it looks good at 4 inches, leave it at 4. Some people's mowers can't go any higher than 3.75. Gotta work with what you have 👍🏾
Nice lawn, thanks for the tips. I’m going to try your edging technique this week. Thanks 👍
Great, let me know how it goes 👍🏾
