I learn a new tip every time I watch a different video! I use my own bleed too, and I always choose a black outline and deselect the outline when I’m cutting. It’s SO much easier to just choose no outline on my bleed and it doesn’t clutter up my page! I’ve been doing this for so long and never thought of that!! 😂😂 Such a simple solution! Thank you
Loved how you went into great explanations of the "why" of things in the beginning when setting everything up. Would love to see that for the in depth steps of the actual designing where you started talking faster without an explanation. I learned a great deal from the video and really enjoyed it.
I loved this! Thank you so much! Can you do a video from start to finish setting up planner/kiss cut on a sheet? Like if you're going to do 2 or 4 on a sheet, setting them up and all the way to setting the different cuts and printing?
Thank you so much for this video! It is perfectly straightforward, simple, and easy to understand. One question - Is it possible to set the lines to do different styles of cuts that will translate to be cut with a Cricut? For example, if I have have kiss-cut lines and full-cut lines, will my cricut read those as separate? Or will it cut them all the same?
I don't know a lot about Cricut machines, but for Silhouette if the lines are set to different colors you can have the machine cut the different colors separately. I use red for kiss-cut and a blue for full-cut and I use the "Line" option in the Send panel in Silhoutte and the machine knows to cut them differently. I'd think Cricut would have something similar but I'm not sure, you'd have to play around with the options when you're sending it to the machine.
Loved this video, thank you so much!! Just another question, how do you use/add a digital paper to the background instead of some preloaded to the fill section?
Just an FYI...version 4.4( I am pretty sure). It has an autotrace feature for .png files with transparent backgrounds. So you wouldn't need to use the trace step and go right to offset. Just wanted to pass that on to anyone that might need it.
Glad this helped you! You can group the sticker, I use group quite a bit but I didn't show it in this video. I usually group the sticker and cutline so they stay together once I finish making it 😀
I don't have anything about making printable files right now because I haven't really gotten into that, it is something I am looking into for the future though. Thanks for watching!
@@kayceeleigh Oh okay, Thanks for getting back to me. A printable shop is something I am working towards and I look forward to seeing that content. You are very good at explaining stuff!
So we can't have the image on the gray scale? I thought it was just as long as it's within the red line it should be fine. Mine is going crazy. First it's not cutting where it's supposed to, then its not even reading the registration marks.
great thanks! I just subscribed to your channel this tutorial is so much simpler than most :-) Life saver!!! I'm trying to do my own personal planner Christian base do you have non holiday stickers to text personal study, scripture theme like?
I don't know much about waterproofing stickers. You can get water resistant sticker paper (Online Labels sells some) but they still aren't completely waterproof.
I'm not sure why it would do that! Are you offsetting an image like a jpeg? If you are make sure you trace the image first and are grabbing the traced outline instead of the jpeg. Other than that I'm not sure why it would do that 🤔
I've heard the default fonts are only for personal use so I stay away from them when I'm designing something to sell. I've added a lot of fonts into Silhouette that I purchased from the Silhouette studio design store and also from other websites like thehungryjpeg.com. You'll need to make sure you purchase the commercial license for any fonts you want to use commercially. Hope that helps!
Very very good video! You explain exceptionally well. Better than the majority that I've seen and trust me, I've seen many. There are a few little red lines in my word. How do I delete those so it doesn't cut? Also, when I put a round rectangle around the words, it covers the words. Thumbs up and Subscribing!
I sometimes draw a shape (like just a circle or square) and put it between the words then select the shape along with the words when you hit Offset. Then after you apply the offset delete the shape. You can adjust the offset line by double clicking it if needed, too. Hopefully that helps!
Do they not show up if you click Restore Defaults in the Page Setup dialog box? If not try to adjust the Length and Thickness settings. That's all I can think of, I played around with the settings until I found something I like. The main thing is you just need to remember to keep art away from the registration marks. Thanks for watching!
Hey what’s the best printer for stickers? I am a Realtor @latashawarrenrealtor and I want to make stickers to give away. No clue which printer is the best quality.
Inkjet photo printers work well, I use HP Envy Photo printers but I've heard Canon Pixmas are good also. Then just make sure they are set to the highest or "best" settings 🙂

New subscriber suggestion from RUclips. I am going to be printing some baptism stickers.

I love this kind of video! Please keep making
Thanks for the feedback! I'll try to keep adding more videos like this on my channel 😀
Very interesting. I would make so many mistakes LOL. Thank you for showing this process.
LOL, there is definitely a learning curve! Thanks for watching!
Are you able to do a video on transparent minimal stickers like date dotes or hexagons?
I'll try to do another video like this at the beginning of the year and I can add those into that one!
Great video, to the point, Thank you!
Thank you for watching!
Cool

Oooo very helpful! I was making the outside line a color and it was printing that color ! But should you group it though?
Glad this helped you! You can group the sticker, I use group quite a bit but I didn't show it in this video. I usually group the sticker and cutline so they stay together once I finish making it 😀
i def dont have the patience for all of that!
LOL! It's not for everyone!
Hi! New here, Looking to start making stickers. This was SOOO easy to follow! do you have anything on making printable files to sell?

What if the offset is all great but when I hit apply it makes a rectangle shape instead the kiss cut that was there before applying?

How would you make a two word sticker such as “am routine” and it not make two stickers?
I sometimes draw a shape (like just a circle or square) and put it between the words then select the shape along with the words when you hit Offset. Then after you apply the offset delete the shape. You can adjust the offset line by double clicking it if needed, too. Hopefully that helps!
My diagonal lines are pretty much non existant, why dont they show up for my registration marks?
Do they not show up if you click Restore Defaults in the Page Setup dialog box? If not try to adjust the Length and Thickness settings. That's all I can think of, I played around with the settings until I found something I like. The main thing is you just need to remember to keep art away from the registration marks.
