I was blessed to be able to play with brotha Dramane Kone around this time last year. I had so much fun watching this brotha drum like no tomorrow. And definitely one of my favorite djembe drummers of all time. Very loving spirit positive soul and vibes. Hands of gridiron with no question. Plus very knowledgeable Bassidi Kone is another favorite as well as Sidiki Camara Zoumana Dembele Mamady Keita and some others on a long list of drummers.
That's wonderful! Yes, it was a rare blessing to have Dramane and Bassidi both playing together at the studio. Check out the "Dramane Kone" playlist... lots of great stuff there.
