We tried to spend a night at the KOA in Laramie WY but rained so hard and the whole site they had us in was under several inches of muddy water and had to go on to Cheyenne.

As a long time Ford truck owner, I'm certain that the mirror is only available with a new cab assembly in red. Of course, the seats and dash will have to be transferred over from your old cab.

There is a nice area just North of Ogallala, Lake McConaughy. It is a beautiful area and you won’t believe you’re in Nebraska. Plus, just outside of North Platte/Maxwell NE there is a church camp that has full hookups.
lol 😂. We had the same problem with our truck navigation. I finally turned it off and used my cellphone with Waze so we could understand what the crap she was saying. Laughing right along with you two 😂
Cody, about your truck mirror, Ford does not sale mirror parts and you must buy the complete mirror assembly ($1500-2000). If there are any marks on the mirror exterior, it cannot be replaced under warranty, as they will claim damage due to striking something. My Ford-250 had motor problems and my mirror corrects itself by spraying silicone WD-40 into the motor areas of the mirror assembly. I do it periodically and haven’t had any further problems.
Cody, I drive my wife crazy with keeping the truck clean. I would complain about the dust in construction zones as well…I’m not that guy either! “Take 10% off” bahahaha!

I said last wk there was nothing in Ogallala shoulda stayed in N Platte. We stayed on the River for free at city park and they have animals like bison, deer, ducks etc all fences in but you can feed them.
@@RVUntethered if ya ever go back that way stay at river @ city park by boat launch for free. They don't use launch any more and we were only ones their on way backs from SD. But going we paid to stay in the only pull thru but spaces are short. Just a tip. Its a nice park.

Haha I measure nothing..even time! It does take a long cook. I want to say that I cooked it high for 25-30 min then turned it down for another 15-20. Essentially, until the center comes out clean, like a cake. ☺️ We prefer ours with spicy sausage! 😉

The visitor center probably closed soon as the hotel campground alerted them on their private group text you were on the way LOL. What you experienced with your gps there is why the first thing I do with a new route is make sure it's on mute. In aviation they call it workload management. The audio on any gps is a huge distraction to me, and is always a tiny bit late. I do much better with the sound turned off.
haha! I don't disagree with that! We end up turning ours off more than not. Before we were living in our RV, but traveling often, I was sleeping one night, traveling down a road we had been on a hundred times and Angela somehow went an hour out of the way. So...we usually start with the volume ON. LOL
@@RVUntethered LOL that story won't win you any husband points. I had the opposite situation twice. Once on a 2 lane in Kentucky that should never, ever have a fully loaded 18 wheeler on it (11% uphill grade with switchbacks). The other time was at the Rte 9/440 interchange near Perth Amboy NJ. In both cases, the poorly timed and distracting audio led to second guessing during a turn, and ultimately taking the wrong one. No police or tow trucks were involved so it didn't happen. I took the W and leave the audio off now.
My 21 f350 has the mirror problem , I sprayed lucas slick mist in the gap last time I washed it mine catches alot of dust on our parking lot at work so far its working
