From the factory, a single air conditioner on an RV your size is obscene. We have 3 ACs on a 43 ft motorhome and it can barely keep up during peak summer months.
Haha You’re right! We lived in Minnesota at the time, so that’s where we bought ours. They assured us that one would be sufficient for our rig. We figured out by our first few trips out, that they were counting on Minnesota weather for that. 🤣

My husband and I will be passing through the area later this year, so we appreciate all of these great ideas of places to visit. Oh, and I'm with Cody -- there's no such thing as a bad pizza. I'm a fan of deep dish. I make my own deep dish skillet pizza (a skill I learned during the first lockdown in 2020). But I should also point out that both my husband and I like pineapple on our pizza (typical Canadians 😄), so I'm wondering whether Cody would consider that a "bad pizza" 😄. im not sure if ive ever tried that style pizza, but for the last 10yrs, pizza hut pan pizza has been my favorite with lots of toppings (supreme, meat lovers, etc). the crust makes the pizza in my opinion.

It is unfortunate, but most states have areas like that. I know St. Louis has some areas where you don't want to go. You hate to disparage any place, but it's true. It is still a great place to visit though. There are so many cool things! If this hadn't been such a last-minute, quick trip, I think we would have been able to dive in a bit more. We frequent areas, just a couple of hours from there, so maybe next time! :)

I like the idea of a shutoff valve. I have a tank fill valve on our mh. When I hook up I always set it to tank fill to purge the air, then switch it to city water for the duration of the stay.

Great Video! Born and raised in The Lou but have lived in Connecticut the last 3 years. Grew up in Arnold just south of STL on 55. I worked as a bottler at Anheuser Busch for 2 years while I was in college. I'm a licensed architect and I used to go to the Cahokia Mounds. We lived in Valley Park and used to drive through Lone Elk Park all the time. The Lumiere Sculpture Park is amazing during Xmas. Zoo is great, Jewel Box is a classic prom picture opportunity. Zia's, cunnetos...all great! I am shocked by how many of the best places to go in the Lou you captured!
St. Louis is a great location to visit! I once stated at Union Station (hotel part) and called my Dad to let him know where I was. He asked me where in the building I was and told him and told me a location by the shops and he told me he helped build several of the walls and floors back in the day when my dad and mom lived in St. Louis. It became personal. Been there several times with my family - history. The children’s museum is awesome even for big kids like me! Zoo! So glad y’all enjoyed it! Pizza - eight corner deep dish is #1 - any meat lovers pizza with jalapeños

I used to load and unload downtown and around the airports in St. Louis.... Traffic is a nightmare after 0530hrs... but the city has so many good people around it... There's bad places also, but overall it's a big spread out place... 20-30 minutes in bout every direction and you're in the country!!
Oh, your black water tank what I have done for the past 25 years is get a cheap pole from Walmart and every time I use the toilet I put just a very small amount of pineapple and flush it into the tank. When you look into the toilet as your flush and you can see if the water levels up high and the pine or you get no odor and when you flush it all the volume of water carries everything out, you’re welcome
I was on a paddle boat tour years ago and we landed and disembarked at the arch. It is awesome in person. Definitely not a thin crust person. Love the dough!

I know that you didn't have enough time to see every thing, BUT you missed a lot of FREE THINGS. The Old Court House, if you like history. We do the same in our Class A. We set the bedroom ac 3 degrees cooler than the main area. Plus we close 1-2 vents (ducted) and that forces more air from the bedroom ac to the main area. Concerning pizza, have you found that you tend to eat more if the pizza is cut into squares? Maybe that is just us...lol. We also see that you referenced Sugar Fire. We try to stop by every time we are in the area. Travel safe!

Pizza looked delicious! I love my pizza thin crust with sausage, onions and peppers. Here in Northern Delaware the only place to get good thin crust was Pats Pizza but the restaurant closed. Looked like a nice place to visit! I’ll keep saying I love the retakes, thanks for all your hard work!

We did STL last fall for the Metallica concert. Eat at “the hill”. Go to the zoo and art museum. Go see Busch stadium. Visit the Arch and ride the paddle wheel boat.

It does say that the square cut was invented in Chicago! Interesting! Of course, when I think of “Chicago style”, I think of the deep dish, one slice meal. 😁. You can find the square cut all throughout the Midwest though and the cheeses primarily make a “St Louis” style, what it is. I think you can even buy the provel cheese in a lot of the stores down there. It tastes a lot more mild, cold. But melted, it has a pretty donating flavor.
Great video been on vac in Ohio got on the net and started catching up. St Louis wild be a great place to go to and the pizza looked good. If you haven’t ever been to Geneva on the lakes is a great spot to visit on Lake Erie.
We stayed at the St. Louis/Granite City KOA, but we wouldn’t necessarily recommend it. We stayed there intentionally to be closer to some friends. It wasn’t our favorite place.
I admit, I don’t understand the issue with the American flag at ALL. But I also admit that I haven’t taken time to go look it up…because I think it’s to create division and I’m not going to give it my time and energy. I’m not going to let someone take that away. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

The cheese on St. Louis-style pizza is Provel. I believe it is specific to the St. Louis area. It gives it a unique flavor for sure.

Great video been on vac in Ohio got on the net and started catching up. St Louis wild be a great place to go to and the pizza looked good. If you haven’t ever been to Geneva on the lakes is a great spot to visit on Lake Erie.

We stayed at the St. Louis/Granite City KOA, but we wouldn’t necessarily recommend it.
We stayed there intentionally to be closer to some friends. It wasn’t our favorite place.

We stayed at the KOA in Granite City to be strategically close to some people. It was OKAY but I would check out some other locations.

The kid city museum has pride flags. Why I don’t get it. No American flag I guess that would be offensive.
I admit, I don’t understand the issue with the American flag at ALL. But I also admit that I haven’t taken time to go look it up…because I think it’s to create division and I’m not going to give it my time and energy. I’m not going to let someone take that away. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
the best things in life are free, because Free is the best price!! haha what happened to "you get what you pay for"? probably just a marketing ploy to get people to pay higher prices for things? ' buy Nike Jordan shoes for $500' and you'll get your moneys worth of advertising, support of a few rich guys, child labor, and of course the shoes that were made in the sweat shop in Vietnam... but you got what you paid for! haha
