I thought my cat would never calm down with this. I had a vet service come to my house and my cat was terrified but once zipped in she instantly relaxed and even purred with it on as I rubbed her head. Couldn't believe it. Didn't even flinch when her blood was drawn from each front leg.
This may be a game changer for Bing. He absolutely hates nail trims, but if he is being swaddled, it might work. I'll give it a try and see. If it doesn't work, I can always donate it to my vet clinic or give it to a friend. Thanks for the tip! And a big high five to your kitty for so graciously volunteering to be model patient!!!
Your's is the first video that really demonstrates the entire procedure others just show about the wrapping and mention you can trim nails too so thanks for sgating how to bring jer paws out of the wrapping 😊😊
This looks useful for me. I have 4 kitties to clip. 2 are easy, 5 minutes to do front paws. Third one is difficult, takes several days with breaks in between. Fourth one is a terror. The cat wrap should help immensely for the hard 2. Plan on ordering one.
people are probably gonna think I'm lying but my 4 month old kitten has absolutely no problem with me trimming her nails the first time she made such a scene and cried so much, but after the second time she was very calm and didn't make one sound.
That's awesome! Most likely it's because she's still young, it's suggested you get them used to it at a young age so you won't have problems in the future
Something that really freaked me out and it worked that would work brilliantly with this if you put a sticker between their ears, their brain focuses on that
I just ordered one because my cat needs subq fluids and he doesn't want to stay still for the 10 minutes we need to fill up his tank. From what I've seen, I'm very hopeful it will work. I also have a real bruiser that hates nail trims and hope I can use it on him too.
Sounds great, I’d like to try for my eldest girl, she’d probably like it once she’s in it since she likes to cuddle under blankets and is a little spoon, but the issue would be getting her inside it in the first place. I feel like I’d have to fight to scooch her butt in. Might be good to help relax my other cat though, since while I can easily clip her claws, she doesn’t particularly like it.
Wow thank you for sharing this product! It would help not only us vet techs to keep our patients calm but could be very useful for owners to administer medications or give nail trims (which let's be real most cats that come in need a good trim).
I have a cat bag that opens at each leg, yet our little cat is so strong she can twist around in it. It came with a little mask with a opening for the cat's nose. It stops her from biting and she can't see what we are doing. I would love to buy this.
My girl hates the vet office, but has CKD so has to go often. We always give gabapentin but I wonder if this would keep her calm for blood draws, BP, urine draw, etc. Do you think they would still be able to do that in this?
I love it. The new improved burrito holder for kitties. I don't need one as mine are great for nail trims as we do them regularly. But they are oh so cute. Candice can I share this on a few cat pages im on??
Hey, I just wanted to let you know that I went to the Cozy Cat Wrap website and discovered the large only fits cats 7-16 lbs. Since Bing is 18 lbs, he won't fit. I contacted the website and inquired if they would ever have a bigger size. Guess what? They are coming out with an XL in a couple of months. I got on their email mailing list. So, they will let me know as soon they are ready to sell them. I was amazed how fast they responded!!! 😍😻
I have put it on Cindy (18lbs) she did fit in it but the parts that wrap around didn’t seem big enough to really give that snug/hug feeling. I hope that are making a medium! We have had some skinny long cats that could have used it.
I finally bought one :) Thanks for your off code! I hope Stella (my cat) and I can now trim hair nails in a more relaxed way. It's a battle every time i tried it with a towel Stella freaks out and escapes the towel. I'll make a video soon i tried it on Stella:) I have to trim the nails every 2 months and it is really expensive to go to the vet every time (60€) or when the cat groomer has to come to my home (also 50€). Stella hates it when strangers touch her. I hope it really helps me and Stella.
I got one! I just did my cat's nails yesterday and it went so much faster than the towel wrap. I don't have another person to help so this is an amazing and helpful item to have!! It's worth the investment because I won't need to take him to the vet or a groomer for simple nail trims. I also got a small electric clipper to take care of the hair in the middle of his paws. I love the calm cozy cat wrap!
I think this is my only hope...expensive but no other way I can see. I have a very very difficult old (16 yrs) cat that's developed OA and she was difficult even before this. She is so bad that the vet wanted to totally put her under for it ($142) in addition to the $25 for the trim (yes, corporation bought out the practice and they are expensive). But they did have a point with totally putting her under. They gave me gabapentin to try to do it myself. Did it once and it worked ok with wrapping in a towel but she did fight me the whole time. Not today. She fought me like mad even on a ml of gabapentin and I slipped and got one of her claws too deep very badly. She bled like a stuck pig and I had to wrangle her back into the towel to dress her foot. I will be ordering these. You are right about wriggling out of towels and the restraint bag (I had bought 2 of these) would be no help as you can't swaddle the cat in it and I've found out that's critical if you don't want to hurt them like I did today'. Today was horribly frustrating and I've got PTSD and so does my cat.
I actually saw some sort of harness type thing that they had a small dog in and all four legs fit through the holes in the bottom but then the top had hooks and they actually hung the dog up and were able to get underneath to the nails. I thought that was sheer genius The problem would be setting the hooks up in the home. I think this was at a groomers.
Just bought one, but having trouble. Any suggestions for the first step? When I attempt to put the velcro collar around my cat's neck, he flips out, even with treats.
I think a towel could be just as effective. Either way, my cat fights like a maniac when I try to do it myself, or get her inside her cage to take her to the groomer. It's soooooo frustrating!

First of all I think you are awesome the cat swaddle is awesome and I am definitely going to give it a try!
Your's is the first video that really demonstrates the entire procedure others just show about the wrapping and mention you can trim nails too so thanks for sgating how to bring jer paws out of the wrapping 😊😊
I am a vet tech who stitched up my own ribs last week after administering medicine to my cat.
😂😂😂 Omg, awesome!
😱😱😱

Great job on this video. Your presentation of the product was excellent. ❤
You are lucky your cat is calm natured. Mine is a 9 pound tiger
I knew I liked you when you said “and now…we release the Krakkon”, lol
Something that really freaked me out and it worked that would work brilliantly with this if you put a sticker between their ears, their brain focuses on that
Thank you for great help! This gives us hope for our new Holy Terror kitty “NoTrimNoWay”. Can’t wait till ours arrives to start practicing!

How did it go?
It's a lot of $$$ but better than paying vet.I like it!
I want that thing! Front paws aren't a giant issue but back paws on both of them are the devil!
It looks good my cats are not good haveing there nails done but I've got do

I have a half feral cat I haven’t been able to even pick him up to go to the vet for 2 years. It won’t work for my cat. It is genus. Thank you.
Lol I know the feeling. We have had those as well!
This is wonderful! Thank you so much for demonstrating how to use our wrap!

@@CatToyLady Contact them. Shirley, they realize not all adult cats are the same size.
Size L fits such a huge range? All of our cats are in that range and 2 of them are twice the size of the 3rd. That's strange.

Let me know how it goes. Definitely practice putting it on a stuffed animal first, so you are comfortable with it.
How has it gone? Any update?
I really want one of these!

Great idea !!!
Mine would still go absolutely ballistic in this

What a nice product.

You might be able to use this for brushing your cat’s teeth too!
My cat although very affectionate, is not a lap cat, would this still work. I have no idea how she would react.
Omg THIS is what I was looking for! Was actually thinking about why we didn’t have something like what we used for newborns for cats! 😂
My cat 🐈 does the same when I shake the treat bag.
Just bought one, but having trouble. Any suggestions for the first step? When I attempt to put the velcro collar around my cat's neck, he flips out, even with treats.
Thanks so much for your tips. These are good!
Mi kitten will chop my fingers off if I try to get him into the wrap. Went berserk when I tried to put a cat harness in him.
Unfortunately my babies would still freak out. I have the mesh bathing/trimming bags.
What is the address for the cozy cat wrap please ????
i have a calico cat just like yours
Need something like this for a dog. My dog hates get her nails cut?
If it’s small it may work.
I have to start giving my cat b12 shots. Will this give me safe access to his shoulder or backend?
Yes, it has multiple flaps that open, should work great for it!
How often do you cut there nails
About every 2-3 weeks.
Omg i need this!
I think a towel could be just as effective. Either way, my cat fights like a maniac when I try to do it myself, or get her inside her cage to take her to the groomer. It's soooooo frustrating!
It's a great idea, but at $100 many cat owners simply couldn't afford it.
Do they make one for 6 week old kittens?
Not yet, I know there are more sizes soon to come out, but not sure there will be one that small.
Hi..how to order
What if they tyr to bite you when you do the front?
I keep my hand behind the neck. The Velcro starts back there.
Looks like that would be good for my cats. Thanks. QQ: Do they make one in Jeremy size? :P
It’s called a straitjacket.
Looks 😂great!
verry good😊
I love the looks of this but there's no way in Hades I'm getting my cats into the suit (I've tried similar things before).
😂😂😂😂😂 this is hilarious
This is great! But where is the cat restraint to get them into the cat restraint? ("Swooping their bottom" into the bag, my ass! 😂)
I am a veterinary assistant/office manager for 23 years
I’ve been in the field 23 years too! I feel like a relic sometimes, no one seems to stay long anymore.
My cat would not let me put that wrap on her sorry she would bite me for sure
I would have all teeth on my hands many times
The best way to trim cats nails is to be able to put asleep there should be something available for that reason
Benadryl
Interesting
Im going to get hurt just putting her in that thing
sassy pants dose your cat hiss
Still needs a head guard. My cat is not so docile.
sushi cat
I need to know what kind of treats you're using. NO treats I know of will appease my kitty that well.
Doesn't work
They’re claws not toenails, don’t touch them.
So....DON'T trim their claws?
Looks like baby swaddler. If someone didn’t have money for this you could make one out of a baby swaddle for $20
Personnelly. You ought to take cat to cat cattery. For nail. Trim. Wrapping. Him. Up. So. He cant move. And he cant. Is not fair
A hundred dollars though? Handy it might be, but that's kinda insane for some fabric, zippers and Velcro. 😒
“Be aware this isn’t for all cats”. Meaning… this doesn’t work unless you tranquilize your cat. Lol. Just kidding.
$99??!!?? Absurd!
Seriously, $165 USD? Way to take advantage of people that will do anything for their pets...shameful.
Nope she still can’t bite you not worth the money
wow thank you.
