I was just thinking of you yesterday. `I have not seen any videos from Agate Dad lately `I thought to myself. And here you are
I post my longer videos twice a week and shorts every day on my shorts channel lol
Really like the second one and the fourth one also even though it broke❤
I just wanted to tell you I laughed so hard when you posted the sticker/magnet that said I lick rocks. Years ago I was in a rock store and the owner usually had buckets of water and spray bottles all over. Well someone forgot to put them out. So yes, you guessed it, I did it. Right afterwards, an employee walked up to me and with a straight face said “please don’t lick my rocks”! Then he turned bright red and walked away quickly. My business partner and I laughed so hard! My daughter was 8 and had no idea why we were laughing.

“the duds make the studs even better” 😂❤ Love the content Agate Dad!
The first one cut- if you put the two halves side-by-side, it reminds me of an eye mask for a superhero! Lol. 😂 My grandmother and I used to find quite a bit of rocks /stones with amethyst in them on L. Superior in the U.P., years ago. We also found puddng stones, although not nearly as frequently as Rob (Michigan Rocks)does on Lake Huron. It’s amazing to think of those rocks and stones being there for ? centuries, and then being discovered, slowly being picked over by us humans, who appreciate this beautiful, natural, precious commodity that God has given us. And I really appreciate the fact that you don’t swear! Great attitude 😉🤓😎Thanks, Taylor!
Yay! I get to watch on my iPad while I work! Love when you put out videos! ❤
3:07 Wow, dark green !! I gave your web information to a 9 year old rock hound. She checked it out that day & she loves your RUclips channel !! Your enthusiasm never fails !! Thanks 😊 like seeing the reveal & your reactions on screen together, even more fun. 😊
Your hoodie!! Its almost as awesome as your agates!❤❤ #2 is by far the best!
Oh thank you!
Weird question. Can you cut an agate into a cube? I was thinking that an agate with multiple windows could look really cool as a cube, because it could provide multiple directional views of the banding and patterns. If you can, I would love to see you try. Keep up the great work! I love your content.❤️
I like that idea!
That would be very cool to see!
Number two was lovely! The orange bubbles being seen through the transparent layer was something that I love seeing in agates.
You’re so Enthusiastic. Makes it so much cheaper fun watching. I like the second one!!! But as always I like them all. 💙
Cut, cut, cut. They were all beautiful, including the one that blew up. Thanks for fun!!! See y'a next time 😊
Always a delight. Thank you!
Second one cut absolutely no words
Absolutely love #2 but that last one is gorgeous as well 😍
Nothing is ever really a dud though is it. Someone will love it. It could be a little kids first ever “cool rock” never discount a “dud” everything has potential.
The multi colored one is my favorite
Great! Something fun for my morning break!!
Enjoy your break!
Their aĺl beautiful except maybe for the dud. Would love to have the one with the bigger geo. I never get tired of you opening these stones for us. Their always different ❤
Good morning Agate Dad
The final five.... I liked them all. Great content as always.
Taylor,
Thank you so much!
Even the "losers" are winners.
Natures randomness makes Agate cutting an adventure.
You never know what's hiding inside....
Hey, that's sounds like Halloween promo to use
next year:)
Cheers,
Rik Spector
You always bring on a smile and laughs too. The Condors are fabulous !!!😆😁
They are all beautiful. Even the more solid one. My favorite is the first
My favorite Dad!😂💖
What an amazing, beautiful surprise that second one was!
WOW, LOVE THE SECOND!!!
2 mins agatedad
Hi, Taylor! What a nice agate banded shirt! Agate banded Dad!😃👍The rocks are fantastic. Undoubtedly, the second and the last one are the top.
That second one was amazing!
Beautiful colours on the last one .
Wow that second one is beautiful
The 2nd is my favourite. It’s a stunner. 😍
Number two was really SOMETHING, so colorful, nice Love orange though, so will be interesting to see what you make of them
Taylor, I’m stumped, apart from the dud one the others are so colourful I can’t choose.😊
So lovely that 2nd one , just great agates
All beauties but the second and last one are my favorite! Thank you so much for sharing! 😊
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for sharing this great video...☺️👌
My favorite ones are the second and the last one too. They are all beautiful and unique though
Oh wow! Love #2!❤
I can’t pick a favorite. All of them were sweet!
2nd one is like FLAMES!!!
The second cut is the best more than other is alright! Smile and keep it up hunt for the best kind 😁
My Favorite is the banded one with green, yellow, orange, and a dark band. Are these like the old Condor I have that has to be front lit to see bc it’s so dark? Where did these come from? (Country)
Ooooo... 5:30 was a heartbreaker. Layman's question, with a piece that narrow that you want to cut on that path, would it have been better to risk one side's integrity more than the other with a thin slice? It'd be a planned sacrifice of the thinner side of the cut, with the chance that it survives.
Marvelous.
Agate Dad - on the duds - can't you cut off another slab about halfway to hopefully expose better elements of beauty inside? Last one - GORGEOUS!
#2 was the perfect agate❤
I NEED a hoodie like that!!!🤩😍🤩

Cool cuts! 🎉
Number 2 all the way. The last one (orange) is nice, but I'm partial to reds, so it would rank 3rd and the "exploded" one 2nd. I agree Condors are too expensive. I usually buy small ones that will hopefully cut decent cabs. Congrats on the Amethyst too.
I’ll take the dud 😆 Guess I’ll drive to Minnesota and find some Lake Superior Agates while I’m there!
OMG beautiful agates. Keep up with the awesome content
Thank you! Will do!
I ❤ those agates....but #2 was OUTSTANDING ❤
Yes!
What a colours, they are all beautiful ! 😂
OMG whats you vid settings? watching from New Zealand,
1080, 60fps, not sure what else you’d like to know lol
@ 442, that's actually really pretty and made me think of Klimt's paintings somehow. I know it's considered a dud, but I still like it. :)
❤ No2 is nearly as good as the star one ❤
My favorites: #1 - Santa’s sleigh; #2 is a stunner - great chromatography
Thanks for sharing
Third one looks like a reverse thunderegg.
When rocks go boom all stunning that (dud) looks like abstract art
The second one you cut was my favorite!!! First message I sent didn't seem to get sent?
Hello, Question?
Do you ever cut the ends of Duds to see if there are any hidden treasures?!?😊
Love your hoodie very agatey banded in blue. Got other colors?❤
Yupp, all posted on soul of rock linktr.ee/AgateDad
All my Children, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren are Rock Lickers. I have a brown porcelain Can with lid that contain all of their Licking Rocks. They range from ages of 7 to 50+! They still pull out the Can to look at their Licking Rocks. One question, what caused the sparking on your first couple of cuts???
First one is a sunset.
That 1st agate, what you been smokin' AD? Curiosity question. How long have you been using the Hi-tech Diamond 10" you're using in this video? I was wondering how long they last. If anyone has worn one out, I figured it had to be you Taylor! 😊
I don’t smoke, it’s been around 3-4 years using their saws
@AgateDad
I'm sorry Taylor, I meant the agate looked like a pipe to me. My sincere apologies!
Liked #2.
I thought #3 was beautiful. It looked like a rain cloud. I rarely see "dud".
Mail me the dud.
📦
OK, not to nitpick at all, but if the lines you keep calling fractures are caused from the saw they’re not fractures. They’re abrasions other than love all your content.
It's not a scuff, it is a lot of micro fractures. No need to nitpick lol
