    I’m a Procreate Digital Illustrator (and casual animator) on M1 iPad Pro. Yeah, after seeing this new release, I think I’ll be holding onto my iPad for years to come as upgrading doesn’t even make sense.

    I wasn't outraged by this ad. I was delighted that everything I thought about the tech industry was proven right. The fact that not ONE PERSON in marketing saw the backlash coming tells me that they have literally no connection with reality anymore. Now everyone can see it.

    Yeah the iPad hardware isnt the issue. It’s iPadOS that feels clunky, solid video y’all.

      I just feel that is Apple could actually install 16GB - 32GB RAM their devices would stand the test of time, 8Gb isn’t good enough anymore.

    The ad is brilliant. It's about cramming eveything you want into a flat computer. No animals were harmed in the making lol

    I actually like the ad OK. I get the concept - squeezing all this music, color and media down to the iPad. I don't see what's dystopian about it. The lighting is a little grim. But... nah - no problem for me.

      Fair enough. But they weren't just squeezing it. They were violently destroying it as they compressed everything. There is a way to do that without the visceral reaction many people felt while watching it.

    My problem personally with the commercial, is that Apple started out with the retro multicolored, for years in my room I had an official think different trademark poster with the logo, Steve chops was a hippie, creative man. Now we’re at a point where iPads are made for distracting children And replacing all the things that were destroyed that they showed in the commercial. I recently found my old iPod classic and ordered a speaker stand on eBay, if anything that is Apple, not the gray, black tone and white/off-white apple. I feel like creativity is that an all-time low And are going back to nostalgic roots to gain a sense of youth again. I’ve being only 21, Even went back And purchased a GameCube, Wii, and gameboy SP last month, Sold my ps5 and XBox X. I’m grateful to the lord for allowing me to experience something of the 90s, but not all is bad I’ll be honest, I love my iPhone 15 and Mac M1 for school/work/church projects and my mirrorless DSLR ❤️ .

    Its for people who don't have all the creative stuff. It's saying you can create in any arts type with an ipad. It saves manufacturing all that extra creative stuff.

    Zach’s take is interesting given he’s a young buck. We’re at an interesting inflection point, with AI already having creators on edge…this wasn’t the ad. (Yes Zack nailed it at 7:19 lol)

    The only problem with the Mac air 13 inch is the ram, I highly recommend getting 16GB or 32GB, 8GB RAM is literally holding back the potential of Apple’s products. Don’t get 8GB!!!!!

    I’m on a Lenovo idea pad yoga laptop. That does just that. Upright is a laptop, fold it over it becomes a tablet

    I bunch of no pro people not understanding what to use the pro device for. Most people need the basic iPad. Others need or should get the Air. If you do pro work that includes audio engineering and huge multilayered projects than this is a god send. Logic Pro workflow is not cumbersome on the iPad. If you do video editing then all of this only helps. If you do high end illustration or work in 3D graphics…it all makes sense.
    You are telling regular people who will use this as a consumption device that its overkill. Yeah. That’s why there are two other levels of iPad that you can get.

    Imagine paying 1300$ for a laptop that can only run one extra screen. Sometimes I don't understand apple or their customers. Why have this ultra powerful chip to only be able to run one regular screen lol. The MacBook air should be the best docked laptop available for the money, but it's not almost entirely because of the one external screen limit set by Apple to solely to force you to buy a MacBook pro.

    Obviously someone with an M2 doesn’t need an M4, this for people who have really old IPad or have never had a Pro before. Also for people who find MacOS ( the Mac software ) too convoluted or confusing and want something powerful yet simple for non work experiences. I think Apple knows exactly who their targeting and its not the sensitive artsy people who already hate screens 😂😂😂

      Apple built their business on the artsy professions. Majority of artsy people are hardcore Apple and have been for years.

      @@JillCee no, they built it on the casual market. Their whole approach has been anyone from anywhere can just pick up their device and just use it. I recommend watching the Steve Jobs movie.

      @@Augusto0926 Working in the creative field, I strongly disagree with you. They did a hardcore focus on gathering professional creatives to have to best tech experience using Mac’s. That was where they found a niche and grew it. Apple catered to creative software developers during this initial growth cycle. Mac experience, in addition to software knowledge, was key to getting any creative job for many years. Even now, most creatives still use Mac as tool of choice.

      @@MasterMindMyBusiness a lot of people buy things they aren’t in the market for and they also just announced an iPad Air which is like iPad Pro with few less features and less expensive. Also, you can’t compare an iPad Pro to an Mac air. You should compare it to the price of a Mac Pro. Compare the MacBook Air to the iPad air and so on..
