The "IQ mode" of the SDRconnect server requires a lot of network bandwidth. To display a 1MHz wide spectrum window, about 30Mbps is required. That means that to display a 10MHz wide window, about 300Mbps is required. When network bandwidth is low, you can also use "Audio mode". If technically possible, I would like to compress the "IQ mode" data to reduce the required network bandwidth. We look forward to seeing more developments in SDRconnect. Thank you!
Excellent video, thank you. I have been using SDRconnect preview 3 as a server on a small Windows computer for a while now, but seeing how easy it is using a Pi, I might switch with preview 4.
Thanks for the clear video! Could you please explain how the antenna configuration works? At 11:05 you configure --antenna=1 and at 12:58 we see that Antenna is using "Port B". How is this mapped exactly?
You can run SDRconnect as a server on any platform. Please refer to the video: ruclips.net/video/I5r4V_oRhFs/видео.htmlsi=pJnsJLT2wnq98auY However, the server service is only available on the Linux ARM64 distribution

Thanks Steve. I look forward to playing preview 4.
Good work
Is the server only available on RPis? or will it also run on other linux version?
