I am very happy with the new sdrconnect program that provides me with a wonderful and diverse listening experience. I am impressed by the remarkable development that the team has achieved and by the new features that the program offers. I am eagerly awaiting the addition of using the elad TM-2 device that will increase the capabilities of the program and make it more interactive and customizable. Thank you for your efforts and creativity.
Hi Steve. Thank you for the update. Really enjoying my RspDx with a ChameleonRX Pro and a discone both mounted in the attic about 3 stories up. Looking forward to coming releases of software. Hope you like Castle Rock. We’re in Elizabeth and love Colorado. Best lamb shank, Thai, and Chinese I’ve ever had was in Harrigate.
I have an RSP2pro that I never could get working properly with 3rd party software on my Linux machines. Hated going to Windows so the box got thrown on a shelf. SDRConnect made it live! Thanks!
Great functionality, its like Christmas waiting for each release. I have it installed right along side OpenWebSDR... SdrConnect gives me a little bit more flexibility, except for the memories, which i suspect is due out soon.... Thanks again, and I never forget its "free" to this community. Oh and thanks for fixing the NOAA quick set modulation selection.
The Asymetrical Filtering was already in SDRuno unless I'm missing something. Never mind, the new button replaces having to press the Ctrl key when adjusting either side of the passband.
Putting in a feature that shows the possible "privacy codes" the transmitting party is using when we receive their signal would be great. This feature is also implemented in other sdr software, but it would be nice to have it in this software.
Nice improvements. For my use this almost covers my needs. PLEASE add rig control to this as I want to use it for a panadapter. I only use Linux and without that I am still left out. Rig control that would let me click on a signal in the SDR Console and have my rig follow..... 73 Jon
Never used SDRuno before, and I'm starting with SDRconnect because I'm using a Raspberry Pi4. This video was quite helpful! I will patiently wait for future releases and plug-ins from 3rd parties so I can fully exploit the software on the Pi. I do have one question though. What is the little rocket ship icon signify along the bottom of the main and aux spectrum displays?
Is there or will there be a way to change the color of the sp screen/waterfall or at least brighten it up? Seems a bit dark next to SDRUno. Hard to see detail at least for my old eyes.
😃Thanks for your work, SDRplay for me are the best in terms of price and performance, I have an RSPdx and I'm happy with it, a truly professional and complete product, will anything be released for Android? Ciao from Italy
Awesome video. Question: I'm running SDRconnect for the first time. Previously I had SDRuno. How do I undo a new VRX? I clicked on it a second time to undo ( I hoped) and another window came up. Question 2: Is there Nosie reduction and a noise blanker? If so, I can't find it. Thanks and 73 de WA3RSL
The answer is a bit complex - for now. The recordings will play but the freq shown will be incorrect. This will be fixed in the next build, and there is a temporary workaround by editing the filename. The date and time does not display in Connect, but you can manually edit the filename to have it appear. You cannot play back long recordings continuously (above the 2G limit).
Hello Steve. I've found server setup instructions for both Mac and Raspberry Pi, but I can't find anything similar for Windows. Is server functionality not available for Windows?!? Thanks.
There are no built in decoders in the Preview. This will change as additional modules are written. You can already send the output via virtual audio cables to external decoders.
Why is the direct freq entry buried way down there like some seldom used option setting… ridiculous…. You would think plug in compatibility would be a high priority than the region items you added… oh well… you can’t expect perfection, it’s only been 4 plus years that this has been “in development”. 🤦♀️
Nice functionality additions! Thank you for all your hard work.

This looks great! Thank you so much finally can use my RSP on Mac
Thank you much we finally can use RSP on Macs.
Congratulations on the new home.
Thank you

Thank you so much for this. I can't wait for you to release this so I can download this to my computer.💯🙏🏾👍🏾✔️🙋🏾
No reason not to try it now. It will coexist with your existing software.
@@SDRplayRSP I didn't know that it was released yet. I'll do just that then . Thank you.
Thank you for your presentation! Nice to see the new development that I have to try out right away. I am working Intel MacOS and with RSPdx.
Working Catalina on an Intel Mac here, any of the newer MacOS will also work.
Welcome to Colorado. I’m up the interstate from you in Denver.

Nice work on this software! Do you or anyone know when ham rig control will be added as a feature?
It's on the list, but we can't predict the timescale unfortunately

I think that's the cursor appearing from time to time

already announced support for Android and iOS in the future

there is an "X" in the upper right corner of the VRX to close it.
Thanks. I can barely see it but that works great. NB or NR? Not implemented yet?@@SDRplayRSP
I just updated to the new version, but have the last version on the webserver, do I have to upgrade to the newest version on the webserver as well?
Ideally run the latest version on both ends, but it will probably be ok for now.
is there a grey line world map for it? for the background
It seems the download button(s) are not working (on two browsers and with or without an ad blocker).
Will I still be able to play all of my spectrum recordings I made from my RSP1A and DX using sdruno using sdrconnect seamlessly ?

Please please make diversity control with the mouse wheel and also for SDR uno!! Please please please!!!

Will I be able to use cat control like I did with sdrplay? So far I don't see any settings for it
It’s coming!
Great news! :) thanks for the reply! I too am in Colorado, fun hearing local stations and commercials in the videos from time to time :)
Can SDR Connect decode the newer HF digital modes?

Because most people will probably just right click on the frequency and use the keyboard.
@@SDRplayRSP Great point, see…. Glad I asked…. Learned something, thank you.
really Guys? this software looks and feels like an old truck, compared to e.g. SDR-Console!
