- my girl friend Bonnie G. from NZ & our friend Emily B. and I just happened to be behind this man who straddled the rope tow at Alta , UT. I thought to myself- that's weird, that man has no idea how to ride a rope tow, hold it don't ride it! I figured the man was going to just fall off to try and escape the situation but when I took out my camera to catch the awkwardness little did I know what action was about to unfold before my eyes! ...........by the way I am the sole owner and creator of this COPY RIGHTED VIDEO, enjoy
props for being so polite and checking if the guy was ok ( before chuckling!!). This is the way to behave on a ski hill!!!!!

That was some big air. Not very high off the ground but the distance was outstanding. Maybe he was practicing ski flying. Take off was ok, I think his form in the air could use some more work. Landing was good until his legs gave out.

this is hilarious! there are about a billion of these tows back home, being from small-hill MN. haha. Ive seen some crazy stuff, but nothing quite like this! nice job keeping your cool 2, that was pretty considerate... i dont know if i coulda done it.

You stand on the side and hold on with your hands to pull you to the other side of the ski resort. Kinda like bunny hills for kids to learn how to ski, it pulls you up the small hill.

In most European Ski resorts you sit on the rope tow, as it has a "seating device". So probably this guy thought here was the same and gave us one of most EPIC moments in Ski.
@BombBug yes it does what do people do when they don't get permission they cover their faces of the video or blur them out of pictures, so here this doesn't need to be done

@glendoi no, no lifts. not anywhere. resorts all suuuck too. and the snow is horrible. Either hike or deal with these rope tows. I'd stay in .. wherever you're at thats better, if i were you

it was too late to warn him. if he tried to get his leg over the rope and fall over he might have hooked his skis and bindings and might have been dragged. i stayed quiet so he could concentrate on balance and sorry if i offended anyone with my video.

@wdp11683 I'm not trolling, just wondering if he asked the guy if he recorded him. Hes trying to make money off of it, which seems weird and generally unlikely. More like, the time and money he spends trying to sue them would be worthless, because theres nothing that really says it is his, as he uploaded it to youtube without copyrighting it or anything.
