The thing that bothers me is the dog seems to be reacting in a way that is so far beyond a typical "I've done wrong" reaction from a dog, he looks like he's afraid of being beaten. Though, I've never hit my dog, I too tell it to stay in one place after it's done wrong, tail between the legs is the most that happens. That's what others are pointing out in the comments, no one is offended or upset the dog is being told off, it's that we see this isn't normal and that there must be some underlying reason why it's so afraid.

The dog is clearly well fed, not a sign of an abused animal. B) My dog is the same exact way and she has never been hit before in her life. She is just very smart, perceptive and anxiety ridden. The thing that bothers me is the dog seems to be reacting in a way that is so far beyond a typical "I've done wrong" reaction from a dog, he looks like he's afraid of being beaten. Though, I've never hit my dog, I too tell it to stay in one place after it's done wrong, tail between the legs is the most that happens. That's what others are pointing out in the comments, no one is offended or upset the dog is being told off, it's that we see this isn't normal and that there must be some underlying reason why it's so afraid.

No. You are clueless. Stop making something out of nothing. A) If the dog was "being beaten", do you think it would look that friggin porky? The dog is clearly well fed, not a sign of an abused animal. B) My dog is the same exact way and she has never been hit before in her life. She is just very smart, perceptive and anxiety ridden. She instantly knows when she does something wrong and shows it. Much like people have different quirks to them, dogs do too. Some get overly nervous and upset when they're in trouble. That is why this video made me laugh so hard because it reminded me of my dog.
