I'm not a big fan of those cutters, since the grinder won't stop immediately if you release the trigger (like if you drop it on yourself). In that regard, it's more dangerous than a chainsaw. Also, you were making what's called climb cuts and that's what caused the kickback to happen. The way you had the grinder held on the robot arm shows this better - the cutter tends to pull into the wood as it cuts when it's oriented this way. It's like running a board backwards through a table saw and I think we can all picture how that would go :)
Also, did you see the potential reference with 'putting a guard on the grinder'? I was really tossing up whether or not to include that reference during the editting LOL
The disk or guard aren’t the biggest issue and the handle is a no brainer but you really need to get a clutched brake angle grinder they stop immediately after release also kickback will be eliminated as the clutch will stop the rotation as required research and get yourself one dude Australia has a big range at affordable prices these days I got an 115 mm ozito cordless and I think it cost me like $80 or something from bunnings you won’t regret it 😊

@@StevenZhangMakes I'm inclined to leave the guard off, but never put one of these disks on :)
