This is a really cute project with endless possibilities. I like the fact that you were willing to share your OOOPS and how you fixed it. It's encouraging for viewers to see that stuff happens and if we don't like the way something turns out, it can be changed for a better result. Thanks for sharing your creative talent.
You You Hey has a to do I gotta I wanna I gotta I like was that you you are the the beautiful baby that that was you and you you bunches baby baby love y’all so I can do do love y’all and and I’m gonna you’re beautiful babe and you have
Kelly, you are the real deal!!! I love how you showed that you redid sign after not being happy with it. You are so talented with your creations! You never disappoint! 😃
I just love watching you do all your crafts I wished I was that handy at making them I would make that sign for my both of my boys because I have one that is in a group home and I have one that isn't living here with me but I wouldn't trade them for anything so please never stop making crafts thank you and God bless
MY DOLLAR TREE FINALLY CARRIES ALL THE CRAFTERS CORNER ITEMS!!!! I went crazy today! I have an idea for ribbon storage (since I have a bunch of rolls now) but a toilet plunger and make it pretty by hiding the rubber with material or something g else. Simply push your ribbon rolls to the handle. Easy peasy to reach and stay put. 🤩😍
You know Kelly, I think that’s what intimidates me in crafting is when I make a mistake in not knowing what to do to fix it. I’m wanting to do this diy I’m thinking about, and just not sure how to start it, I’m intimidated. I love your crafting. Thank you so much for sharing. 🦋💕
The difference between a novice and an experienced crafter is having made mistakes and figuring out how to fix them. The same goes in life. You learn from your mistakes! Thank you for sharing your experiences.
My DT finally, FINALLY got a Crafters Square section! They didn't have anything before so of course I spent a lot on getting so many cool things!!! I have so many things to make to catch up!!
Such a simple and cute idea for those slats. Also, just wanted to share with you that I crochet, cross stitch, sew, paint, embroidery and anything else to do with crafting. But now I have you to blame for my new craft ..... paper crafting. When I watched your video on the tea bag pockets I was hooked. Love it! Please keep up the great videos .... love them all! Stay healthy!
so pretty. I do think that it is a good idea to show your bloopers (mistakes) and then how you fix them so we all know what could happen and to know things are fixable. Thank you for always sharing your talent with us.
Jelly first I want to say before Wacthing your vlog I want to say I am so so happy to see happy again u must feel so much better plz keep your smile and great crafts but plz take things slow ! Thank u for sharing and caring !
I really like how you show on your diy’s the changes that you make or just want to change! That’s being real!! Thank you for that so much for showing the changes and re-do’s!!
HI Kelly I hope all is well. I Love It! It is So pretty.... I love that you show how to fix the mistakes. Thank you for that. I was in Walmart and met a lady on the craft Aisle of paint and we both said I watch Kelly Barlow all the time! What a small world in some ways. We love you!
I love this DIY you made for your daughter. I bet she loves it! Thank you for sharing your "redo", too. Yes, it did look like a 1. We love your videos, Kelly.
These will work to cut down for my wood apples. I just have to figure out the dimensions to create your apple diy. And, yes my$ 🌲, and local Walmart has these wooden slats. Thanks Kelly.
The project is so cute, but what I really loved about your video is that you showed your mistakes. The bleeding and the letter change. This is encouraging! It reminds me that everything doesn't have to be perfect and that most mistakes are fixable. Love your channel!
This is adorable Kelly. FYI, this past weekend I found a Dollar Tree, closest one within 50 miles of me, that had Crafter’s Square stuff. They didn’t have everything I wanted but I had a ball. Like a kid in a candy store, so the saying goes. I think I am hooked!
Wow thanks for this idea, I wanted to do a sign for my restroom with an anchor, and I wanted a overlapping background. I saw one already made at Walmart but was a little pricey. This diy is perfect and I have 3 packs of these slats. Thank you so much.
When using contact paper stencils or a very thin stencil-not sure it would work with the paper stencils you are using-first put down a coat of ModPodge. It seals the edges so when you paint you don't get bleeding underneath. It works great!
I can see the teal in it. I bet if she were to put a green color beside it, everyone would notice the differences in the two colors. No biggie, though. .... Just sayin'. 😉
crafters square also has little squares of wood in a pack of 36 [i think] i would love to see what you would do with them, and thanks for all the neat ideas
it's super cute . I look forward to your videos thanks for keeping us going LOTS OF HUGS AND LOVE .. Hope you and your family are doing well and staying safe ..
Instead of sanding the whole lower case "l" off and having to use the upper case L, you could have just removed the top part and flipped the stencil to match.
This is very cute. I used to point out quotes and tape them around the house for inspiration. I'm looking forward to seeing you DIY a way for me to do that craftily!
I’m glad you show the bumps in the road and how you fix them. It gives me confidence that I can do it too! 😊
Such pretty colors and the flower 🌸 pops. 💕
My granddaughter wants us to make this for her room. We'll have a great time making it together. BTW she's 7 as of today.
Happy 7th birthday to your grand daughter! I hope she had a wonderful birthday full 9f laughter and joy!
Happy Birthday Baby Girl!!! Blessings!!!
Happy 7th Birthday sweet girl!

I have found that the tabs from a soda or beer also makes a good hanging tab on the back.
Wow! Great idea! How do I get them to stick to the item?
You You Hey has a to do I gotta I wanna I gotta I like was that you you are the the beautiful baby that that was you and you you bunches baby baby love y’all so I can do do love y’all and and I’m gonna you’re beautiful babe and you have
What a great idea💡
Helen Culwell my mom use to use these she would hot glue the part that use to connect to can, to the back of what she was hanging.

I am so glad you changed the #1 because your sign turned out beautiful for Ally. Love the colors and you technique .
Wow. I also think it came out much better than I was expecting. Very pretty.
I just love watching you do all your crafts I wished I was that handy at making them I would make that sign for my both of my boys because I have one that is in a group home and I have one that isn't living here with me but I wouldn't trade them for anything so please never stop making crafts thank you and God bless

My DT finally, FINALLY got a Crafters Square section! They didn't have anything before so of course I spent a lot on getting so many cool things!!! I have so many things to make to catch up!!
I found small bottles of Plaid chalkboard paint. That's a big name brand - they're really stepping up their craft supply game!

I really like this video. The colors on the LOVE sign are beautiful. I love the elephant paint instead of a harsh black. Great job!
You keep crafting real. ❤
So adorable.
Very cute. Your daughter will love it. You do nice work.

You make it look so easy. I could never do that.
Super cute!!! Love that you showed your fix!!!!

The colors are wonderful together! Love that you shared how if at first you don’t succeed......
Awesome sign❤️ I know Allie will love it in her new room
Wow thanks for this idea, I wanted to do a sign for my restroom with an anchor, and I wanted a overlapping background. I saw one already made at Walmart but was a little pricey. This diy is perfect and I have 3 packs of these slats. Thank you so much.
Came out great. You are adorable and thanks for showing us how to fix those bloopers
Too cute. Love how it turned out!
When using contact paper stencils or a very thin stencil-not sure it would work with the paper stencils you are using-first put down a coat of ModPodge. It seals the edges so when you paint you don't get bleeding underneath. It works great!
Cute! I’d love to see her room when you’re done!!
I was cringing about the 1 at the top and about to ask about it when you addressed it. So glad you fixed that!!
I just cant get over that green that Waverly calls teal. Does that look teal to anyone? It just looks green to me.
I definitely see green!
Melinda Rivera Not to me,either.
Pretty whatever it is!
Not sure how true colors are on video. Looks green to me too.
I can see the teal in it. I bet if she were to put a green color beside it, everyone would notice the differences in the two colors. No biggie, though. .... Just sayin'. 😉
I'm right in the middle of painting and re-designing our 3rd bedroom into a den. Beach Theme. Can't wait to do this for my decor !!!

KELLY THIS DIY WAS AMAZING. GLAD YOU SHARED IT WITH US. BEAUTIFUL
Kelly this project is so cute.thank you for sharing. Always love you videos.🦋💜
Instead of sanding the whole lower case "l" off and having to use the upper case L, you could have just removed the top part and flipped the stencil to match.
That’s exactly what I was thinking.
I NEVER thought of that!! You must be a natural DIYer to see that too!! 😉 Thanks for that, I'll keep that in my back pocket!! 👍🏼
This is very cute. I used to point out quotes and tape them around the house for inspiration. I'm looking forward to seeing you DIY a way for me to do that craftily!
Lovely!
