Jess to help with your tummy - 1) split up your meals - instead of 3-4 regular meals, try 5-6 smaller meals. The smaller your food intake the less difficult it is and less time your body needs to take to digest and move things through. 2) Increase if not double your water intake daily - the more hydration, the more "lubrication" your body has. 3) Fresh fruits & vegetables that are high in fiber & fruits with plenty of moisture/juice in them (again the more hydration or water intake) may help. (raspberries, apples, bananas, figs, and strawberries or beans, peas, lentils, bran cereals, prunes, and whole-grain bread) Hope this helps! All of these are natural healthy ideas whether pregnant or not to help your tummy.

Micah is growing so much and is just precious! Regarding your problem besides prune juice, apple juice as well as orange juice is good for relieving constipation. Plus, orange juice and prune juice mixed together is quite tasty. Together, you can get relief from the prune juice plus vitamins from the orange juice.

    Clear glasses for both...
    Natural lax effect:
1 tbs unrefined Coconut oil per day, it can be mixed into hot things like oatmeal or "buttered" onto toast w/a drizzle of agave nectar... Or any other way you might like.

When I was pregnant I started to eat dried cranberries and almonds together like a trail mix, then also eating prunes that come in the little packages I would eat two with each meal. That helped me a lot. Then if that didn’t work I would drink orange juice with the orange powdered flavored fiber mix. Hope that helps

Austin: Definitely the clear grey blue pair. Jess: I like the black one but narrow and also love the clear on you. Also Jess on the constipation, try leaving off wheat for a few days and see if the bloating eases. Wheat and gluten can both cause major bloating. (Hoping you're not gluten sensitive.)

Constipation is the worrrst, and prune juice doesn’t even work for me. I have no idea if it’s safe to use during pregnancy but the only thing that works for me is taking a daily digestion probiotic. It helps with gas and bloating and all that other fun stuff too :) Really soft boiled broccoli every day works wonders to keep you regular

Also, hope you're feeling better, Jess. I've always had those kind of problems too (basically my whole life lol) and one thing that's always helped since I was just a little girl, and that my doctor recommended, is Meta Mucil fiber thin cookies with a glass of water. Eating those every now and then really seems to help me.

    TMI!!!
When I was pregnant with my son I was maybe 35 weeks and I was constipated for 12 DAYS!!! Nothing helped me I tried literally everything so I went to the hospital and they gave me a suppository and enema. And that worked (funny part of the story also more TMI) my stomach was huge when I was pregnant so I had to waddle all the way to the bathroom across the hall!!! Well as soon as I got in there and moved my gown, it went everywhere all over the walls everything. So I felt relieved but in-between me using the bathroom I literally cleaned the bathroom 😅 don’t be like me don’t poop on the wall!🤣 if prune juice don’t work get some suppositories and enema’s! They do work wonders! 😅

Hi Jess I work in Health care.. when that problem arises we serve 6 to 8 oz of WARM Prune juice. Followed by a glass of water every hour or so. We try to stay away from chemical laxative because people become laxative dependent ... Eat spinach, coleslaw, nuts, drink coffee, chocolate and one of our favorite in the business is a McDonald's chocolate milkshake... Stay away from bananas ,cheese... Good luck sweetie feel better... I had bad constipation during pregnancy as well. My Dr suggested coconut oil (1 teaspoon first night, 2 teaspoons the second night and keep working up till you're at 2 tbsp.) The coconut oil, Epsom salt baths, and coconut water made it so much better. I actually started going regularly for the rest of my pregnancy☝️😉🙌

Austin: Glasses 1 and 3 with 2 in a close second. But they all looked really good.
Jess: Austin's pick...if they come in narrow--those are really cute! Loved the regular glasses too...
Pregnancy Constipation is NO Joke! I dealt with this my ENTIRE second pregnancy. Dulcolace (sp?) stool softeners were key when the juice or natural methods wouldn't work. I do know my doc kept saying it was because I wasn't drinking enough---that's a whole other story with severe (hospitalized most of the pregnancy) hyperemesis gravidum/gravidarum-- but sometimes chugging (yes--chug) 6-20 oz of water first thing in the morning. Not the greatest if you deal with morning sickness. But at some point in the day--try this. Might work. If nothing else--you get some of your water in take really quickly. LOL

Glycerine suppositories combined with a mild laxative. By using both you are attacking it from both ends, softening everything to make it easier for you. Hi Jess. This worked on my host Child when I was an si pair. First thing in the morning drink a hot cup of water before you, after a couple of days, you will be going regularly again. You can also help it a long with a tablespoon of clear neutral oil. I have borrowed these techniques myself when I have problems.
    Have a nice day 🙂

For your tummy troubles, stone fruits are amazing. Any fruit starting with p is a poop fruit. Ones to avoid are apples and bananas as those can irritate the bowels further. You could also ask you doctor about a Yogi tea called smooth move. I dont know if its safe during pregnancy or not. I will tell you, be home for the day after you do the tea. It can have a bit of a powerful affect. You could also ask your doc about taking Mothers Bliss med for constiapation. Its actually for babies and kids, but it works well. It usually works within an hour. Hang in there, i fought with that all the time during my pregnancy. It's miserable.

Aww Jess, I feel for you. My problem is alternating between the two extremes. But natural things that have worked for me in the past are, eat lots of oranges, and I do mean lots! Well, if you can get large Navel oranges, if you can eat 4-6 of them. Also pears seem to do the trick for me. Also plums, plums are so high in fibre. I have had about 5 plums at night time and then I am running for the toilet in the morning.
I know fruit is high in sugar, but it’s worth it to get back to normal, naturally, IMO. 😘

I was on heavy pain killers after a car accident and had the same problem. My doctor suggested senokot. You can buy at drug store. It's a natural laxative. Check with family doctor or pharmacist but this should work. If dose says 2 I would start with 3 until you have cleaned out your system and then take daily as recommended. Don't stop and start because it will make you go thru the painful, uncomfortable, bloat, hard stomach phase all over again. Will take a bit of time to work. Not as quick as exlax but will work. Trust me. Good Luck!

The only thing that worked for me when I was pregnant was lots of grapes, raspberries and blueberries and veggies like spinach, broccoli and onions. They all seemed to help when I had them in high quantities. I couldn't take folic acid tablets either as they gave me stupidly horrid stomach cramps, which meant i could only get folic acid in it's natural form in foods and I found those foods also helped. 🤷 Hope you get yourself sorted. Constipation is horrid. I also went over a week and my god I feel for you right now.
