I have always said a baby will come when it is ready. I respect you not wanting to be induced. I was only in labor with my second baby 2 hours. No pain meds at all, it isn't as bad as most say and I recovered so much faster.
Had my 2nd child via natural birth (had 1st with the epidural) and what no one talks about is the endorphin rush you get! Afterwards, even tired, I felt on top of the world and had a much speedier recovery. You don't get that from an epidural experience. Sidenote, I didn't choose not to have it, just waited too long to go to the hospital.
Amp up the game. Pregnancy belly immediately followed by the contraction simulator then straight in to watching one of those newborn baby simulators over night.
I love that you've taught her some sign language to communicate and how much she's learning. I don't have kids, so I feel like you guys are my honorary niece and nephew with your growing family.
Tegan heifort It’s really important at all ages. 😍. When children know boundaries then they won’t break them as adults!! I’m saying this out of my own experience and watching my siblings grow up. ❤️
Oooh! What are your thoughts of doing a video of a "fire drill" video? For when baby comes? Lol! So excited for you three! Thank you for all that you do to bring these amazing videos to us all!
Micah is so funny. When she ate the last bite of her sandwich I laughed so hard😂😂. She is so precious. Can’t wait for baby number 2 to be here. Love you guys 💕
I could watch her in fast forward all day,. Not even kidding. If we all get quarantined I would appreciate more of that. LOL Ive now watched it 3 times. Her moving that bowl.
It will happen when it will happen. Everything happens the way it should. Just go with the flow and just appreciate the moments for what they are. In this time of uncertainty it's appreciate what you have and let unnecessary stress go. Your daughter is really wonderful. Her happiness shines through. ❤
Micha is such a bright little girl, love how she does signs. All credit to you both especially doing ‘ time out ‘ . Love it when you say that your tired and don’t know why.....your pregnant, have a little toddler, you do videos, your a wife and doing normal everyday things, think your entitled to be tired. Absolutely love all your videos. Lots of love to you all 🥰🥰🥰
Idk why but watching her eat is so cute she’s melts me 😭💕💕 she’s just so much more talkative just so more expressive lol I love it I hope u guys r doing fantastic much love
In this video she looks so much like you two! I've been around daycare kids since I was in daycare, and since my mom runs it in our house, I've seen my fair share of little kids but I have never seen one that looks so much like both of their parents! Love watching her and your family grow! Lots of love 💕
Time out was a consequence for our children. It is great that you are teaching her about this early. She is growing up so fast and is a beautiful little girl. Blessings
I was hoping you would have Austin wear a pregnancy belly again!! I'm 31 weeks and have 4 year old twins and I'm much more exhausted this time around! Being pregnant while being a parent is so much harder! Keep killing it!
Omg how could I miss this vlog of this little cutie pie!!! I swear I was having a rubbish evening until your vlog and Micah's "hi" and smile!! Her cute heart warming smile just would melt the coldest of hearts. She is the cutest girl about!!! Oh and you guys are wonderful too lol!
I know your postpartum recovery was extremely difficult. Have you talked to ur doctor to see if there's something that can be done this time to make it easier?
Micah is such a good eater!!! I wish my daughter ate that good!! She does great with a spoon too!!! She is a few months older than my daughter and I love seeing the new developments she has!!! I know my daughter will be going through them soon. She is sooo smart and cute! Love her silly faces.
I can't believe Jess is already in the third trimester. Little Girl Spomer is going to be here so soon, and I can't wait! You guys are awesome parents, and it really shows in how good Micah is. Have you ever considered homeschooling when Micah is a little older? I think you guys would be AMAZING homeschoolers!
During our first baby's labor - the water broke at 4am - my girlfriend went back to bed and slept until 8:30am. We then took our dogs to my mom's. Went and had breakfast and then made our way into the hospital around 11:30am. Most times when you go into labor naturally - it is not as quick as you described in the video - rare occasions obviously it can be - but atypical. Enjoy the moment - but dont panic. It will all go smoothly and the way it should be. It was a wonderful experience for us and I know it would be for you guys as well. We both look forward to seeing your new baby girl very soon and Micah becoming a big sister!
I could watch Micah eat all day cause she's so stinkin' cute! Watching the whole blow the poof off of the couch interaction was so cute. You're such good parents. Amen for Micah's positive response to gentle discipline. Praying y'all have an easy peasy delivery with baby girl 2.
I so enjoy you sharing your process of this pregnancy. Watching your amazing family life. Micha should have her own channel. She is such a dolly. I had 4 kids in 3.5 years and loved the delivery, even tho I went all natural for all four. And all were different.
Micah eating is now one of my favourite things. Watching that bowl being picked up 10 times, spitting out onion, the little sips of her drink... she’s just way to cute!!
Micah and her silly faces are so cute. She is getting big and I love to hear a little one day ut oh. It's so sweet sounding. Children learn that there are consequences for bad behavior, and timeouts are a great way for them to do that. You and Austin are such great parents. I can't wait to see Austin pregnant, I missed it with Micah. I had 2 toddlers and was pregnant with #3, and that wasn't easy. I hope you and your family have a great day.
Hey Jess, now that Micah is getting older and more curious I though I would suggest this product that another RUclips family get for their two little ones. It’s this subscription service called KiwiCo. Every month they send you a crate full of age appropriate educational activities and books. They have a 0-24 month crate that would be just perfect for Micah!! Love you guys! ❤️❤️❤️
Oh my honey! Yes, please get an epidural! I was 41 weeks with my first daughter, went into labor naturally. But like you said, it went too fast and I wasn't able to get one. I almost hemorrhaged to death because during pushing I ripped my I.V. out! It was horrible pain! My second daughter was planned out induction and like you said with yours, no surprises, everything went according to plan, no pain at all! No two births are the same!! Much love to yall💖💖
The big belly i had with my son, except it hurt to walk. People would come up out of nowhere and touch on my belly and ask if i was having multiples and id have to say no just one and that i was only 4 to 5 mths. By the end of my 5th the doctor put me 100 percent bed bound the pain was unbearable. The raviolis i use preggo or ragu chunky garden so it has extra veggies. Ground Lean turkey sausage. Its amazing! Micah is growing so fast, seems like yesterday she was born. Place a flat tote with lid into your trunk. In it have the empty empty bag, rolled up complete outfits with rubber bands include socks and panties, Everything you will want at the hospital place into the tote so when its time all you have to grab is micah and the carseat. When you get to the hospital is when you can toss everything into the bag quickly and go be with jess and everything is taken care of. Your taken care of. Make sure to have a go pro and a extra clean card ready to go with extra phone and camera chargers in the tote, simple snacks, some extra change, numbers of who to call, birth plan, basically everything. Do that now so your not rushing then.
Baby micah is growing up so much. I have beautiful mix emotions. I want her to stay a baby but yet I still want to see her grow up be a smart and beautiful girl. You guys are an amazing family. I can't say it enough. I look forward to your blogs Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. You guys make my day. Also Austin's face was hilarious when you told him he will be wearing the belly next video. Too funny. Love you guys.
Honestly, going through labor and giving birth without the epidural is not bad at all. But I know everyone handles pain differently. I have a low pain tolerance and my menstrual cramps when I was a teen were worse than labor pains. I went unmedicated. They asked me if I want the epidural and I said no, but they probably wouldn't have time to give it to me because my son came so fast. It's not that bad. I was surprised that the only thing I complained about was my leg cramping up. I was also surprised that the body practically pushes automatically. We just kind of help it along. Anyway, whatever you do is totally up to you and I am wishing you a safe and blessful delivery when baby #2 arrives! Can't wait to meet her!
Love you guys!! Comment 👇🏿👇🏿👇🏿 if Micah just makes your day better❤❤ she is such a good eater and her little face is so sweet and adorable. You guys inspired me to start my channel. Happy Day Friends!!!
Micah is such a little character! So funny! My little guy who is about her age is starting to get a little attitude sometimes and time outs have been working pretty well for us. So good luck with that. 😊 Also, going into labor naturally is definitely fun but stressful too! With lots of, "Am I in labor or not?" Braxton Hicks contractions can be super painful and regular and seem like the real deal! I just had my baby on Thursday and that morning had a doctor's appointment and didn't even know I was in labor until he hooked me up to the NST and checked my cervix. 🤯 Just because I had month of constant strong contractions I was used to the pain. (And she was my 7th baby! Every labor, even for the same woman, can be so different it's crazy!) But good luck with everything and hopefully it's a smooth last couple months for you!
Micah is so funny with her faces 😂 and she feeds herself really well. The look on Austin’s face when you said looking after a toddler with the belly would be different, you could see the penny drop 😜😂😂. Look forward to seeing that vlog Jess.🥰🥰💖💖❤️❤️
Micah is so adorable!!! Such a good girl and super funny. She is getting more fun every day. Love your little family!! You and Austin are doing a good job. As far as contractions go, it feels like really bad cramping and then you have a need to pee when it isn't and your water breaks. Had my bags packed and my husband said the night when my water broke that oh they will just send us home and what not but needless to say when the nurse wheeled me up to my room and my water burst rest if the way she said "yeah glad you guys came in." Stayed there until our son was born. 30 hours of labor, 3 IVs, 2 catheters, and 2 epidurals later. Every labor is different though. You will do great!!
I had a natural birth with no pain meds. You are a champ. It was a great experience to be able to do it natually. You know you wont push to hard bc you can tell. I will do it again. Good luck! Just say I g if you dont get meds you will do amazing!
Micah is so darn precious. She really likes the camera. Your bump is looking good. I am sure you are exhausted. Hang in there it's almost time. She loves to eat bless her heart. Ty for sharing.
Love the fast forward of Micah! 😂 You guys, about going all natural with giving birth...it doesn't often happen that when labor starts you have to run to the hospital. For a lot of women it takes hours of labor at home before you would actually have to go to the hospital. So no need to worry about it being to stressful with vlogging 😉
That was so cute with Micah 🙏😉 I hope the birth of your next daughter goes like you hope and wish for and with no complications 🙏❤ Good things happens to good and kind people 😉😉 Have a nice day and be safe and well
looking forward to the birth vlog can not wait, and seeing Micah coming to see her sissy, oh my god bless you guys, and Jess do not forget to say CHEESE x
My first two kids were not induced and I had an epidural. My two youngest were induced one with an epidural and with no pain meds. I have to say my fastest labor and delivery was the induced with no epidural. With a water birth they usually want you to have no epidural. But as you said as long as the baby is happy and healthy that is all that matters.
I went into labor naturally and it was the best experience! I started going into like early labor the night before I’m pretty sure. I woke up when my husband was getting ready for work still having contractions. I told him to go ahead and go to work and id let him know if I needed to go to the hospital. So I called my grandma after he left because I didn’t want to be alone. My parents came over about 30 minutes later after my grandma came because I started having more frequent contractions. When they got here I showered, and shaved lol then we went to the hospital. We got there about 9am and I was for sure in early labor. And then I had my son all natural at 10:32 that same night. No epidural or anything. Delivery was NOT as bad as I imagined it would be.
I think it's a culture thing but I don't understand the Americans and their inductions.. 🤔 Here in Germany you don't do that unless you're waaay over due or if it's medically necessary. I think 39 weeks is way too early to induce. But for me personally, of course I'd never judge anyone for doing so. I just think it's interesting that the Americans are so keen on getting induced.. 🤷🏽♀️😄 Excited nonetheless!
There's new research saying that you actually have a slightly lower chance of having a C-section if you get induced at 39 weeks versus having a natural birth at 40 weeks. I'm not sure if I'd do it with my next pregnancy but it is good information to consider.
Oh my ... I think the exact same thing. I was induced due to an abnormal development on the umbilical cord at 41 weeks (I live in Germany). It was terrible for me personally ... they tried the induction over 5 days before the labour really started. And as far as I can remember, I had terrible pain from the contractions from the first contraction on or I slept, almost passed out due to exhaustion. After that I decided that the next child (whenever that will be) will either be a natural birth with an epidural or a c-section.
Accupuncture! I went to accupuncture before my scheduled induction (started going at 37+3 since I was planned to be induced at 38+4). I ended up going into labor on 37+6 (the last day of the accupuncture treatment). Highly recommend!
Both of mine I went naturally. The first I got an epidural, the 2nd I did no pain meds. The 2nd was so much better! Loved being able to get up and move around, and the recovery is much quicker.
Awwww what a wee cutie micah is coming on leaps and bounds, i had to have a section with my first child i was in labour naturally for 18 hrs and after all my effort I couldn't have a natural birth which i was bummed out by. But she was birn happy and healthy. My 2nd pregnancy not natural as well becasue I was having twins and the doctors thought it was better and more safe for my 2 girls to have them through a c-section. Have a natural birth like the last time you did great with micah. ❤❤
I'd just worry about getting induced if you don't have to be because there are risks involved to both you and the baby. Our daughter was born only four days before Naysa and 2 days before her due date and they suggested inducing because my water broke before I knew I was in labor and there is a risk of infection after 24 hours of the water being broken but I am glad I wasn't induced because I was able to prove to myself I am capable of going through labor unmedicated and I don't think I could have if it had been more painful from inducing. Your water breaking first already makes the contractions worse as it is and I didn't want them any worse. It is nice to just let your body take control and do it's thing without putting medication and extra hormones in. I understand sometimes they are needed but not every time. I want the best for you guys and I hope you strongly consider every option. I'm so glad I went through labor unmedicated because your body does have natural pain killers that clock in and the energy and feeling you get is amazing!
I gave birth both times naturally and no pain meds. Hope this birth goes smoothly for you. When are you going to reveal baby name. Thank you for sharing part of your lives with us. Much ❤
In Canada (atleast in our area) we don’t do inductions until after 40 weeks (unless there is a medical issue of course) so I find it strange that you have the choice so early! And I never even wanted an epidural cause I was scared of needles 😂😂 I was in labour for 20 ish hours with no pain meds. Haha don’t know how I did it but it’s possible!!!! I never once yelled at my husband or anything.... i was shocked haha. You can do it Jess!! And you feel SO good after birth! Recovery is way easier. Also Micah is so adorable and I can’t wait to meet the new baby! 🥰
For me regular contractions were just as painful as pitocin contractions! Especially towards the end. I’ve had pitocin and then an epidural and delivery and then two deliveries without pitocin or an epidural. The contractions were more gradual without pitocin but definitely not less painful!
Hey Jess, I was induced with no pain relief except the sterile water injections and it was nowhere near as bad as I was told! Trust your body and trust your strength, you will be amazed at what you can do! I think you should at least try to get through the birth without an epidural, it is such an incredible experience!
Happy Day 😁! Micha is so cute and smart! I have a 17mo old boy and I my water broke with him and we waited a few hours before we went to the hospital but I still had to be induced because i wasn't have contractions. I wish I could have progressed on my own though. Praying for you guys to have a healthy good delivery 😁
That was the case with my second....less than 2 hours from the first questionable contraction I had 10 minutes from the moment I stepped through the hospital door till baby was out. But honestly recovering from no epidural and recovering from an epidural is a big difference . I was up and moving after no epidural in a matter of hours it was kinda nice but the pain oh baby that was not fun.
I love prego bellies! It’s the cutest thing and such a beautiful experience. I can relate about carrying out more....both pregnancies I had ppl asking me if I was having twins and having the reaction like “whoa!!” When I would turn around haha!!
Micah is such a character 😊 . Hopefully your 2nd birth will go smoothly and and that you and baby girl are healthy and safe in the end! I've never had kids so I can't speak on induction vs. natural. Traditionally though, most 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc babies come faster than the first, so I'd be prepared for that possibility. Austin, don't be too worried about us! If Jess does goes into labor on her own and you can't vlog much, that's okay! You'll have other things on your mind and we understand (or at least I do).
Every pregnancy is different. I have 3 kids. My first pregnancy i went into labor naturally at 36 weeks 5 days. Dident know i was in labor cause i felt like i was just having my normal menstrual cramps. It was nothing. By the time i got to the hospital i was 5cm 100% effaced. I was in labor a total of 10 hours. My second child. Went into labor naturally at 39 weeks. The labor was just like the first about 10 hours. My third child i was induced at 39 weeks. Labor was and hour and a half. Had epidurals for all 3. And they were all different. The first worked so well i felt nothing not even pressure near the end. The second was perfect. No pain but felt pressure so made pushing a little easier. The last dident work right. The pain was so bad that i couldent even hold my son right when he was born. All of them where so different. But it just made all of them that much more special. All different just like my kids. 😊
I was induced with my first and want to experience labor naturally. I ended up going into labor at 34 weeks and 5 days. Well at 34 weeks and 4 days my contractions started coming more and then the next days they were pretty consistent and got pretty intense. I dont know if you are close to your hospital but driving to the hospital while having intense contractions is not fun
I will no longer comment on videos anymore. I will continue to watch and like these videos. I was accused of parent shaming and telling them how to raise their daughter. I was simply giving advice to them . I would never parent shame anyone especially people I only know through watching RUclips videos. I have since deleted the comment because the women started calling me a bad mom which really upset me because you don't know me don't call me a bad mom. I'm far from it I make mistakes I'm not perfect but I'm surely not a bad mom. People on here can be so hurtful and so rude. I will continue watching your guys videos and liking them but will no longer comment on them. Stay healthy and happy and congratulations on the new addition to soon arrive !
I'm sorry if you felt personally attacked. The comment section can be a wild place at times, and although we personally may not agree with all parenting advice we receive, all of it is insightful and can provide input for how we do approach a situation. Sorry if others didn't see it this way, but we always appreciate input! Hope you have a better day, and decide to comment again in the future.
If you go into labor in the night just get the sitter and go to the hospital. You don’t NEED anything until the baby gets here. Austin can go home to get the suitcase and diaper bag and car seat after she gets here. Your timeout for Micah was just right. She will begin to test your word and you HAVE TO follow through. What is the status on her haircut? I think she’d be cute with bangs until she’s old enough to keep clips or a headband on to grow it out.
When she picks up the bowl and grins all evil I almost died. WHY IS SHE SO CUTE?!?!?
I love seeing Micah’s fun personality! Those smiles, looks and when she is playing just melts your 💜 heart.
I have always said a baby will come when it is ready. I respect you not wanting to be induced.

This is brutal😂😂
Your doing a great job encouraging micah to say words, it's so wonderful to watch, she is so cute, great work on the time out too, great parenting x
I cannot get over how cute Micah is. She's gonna be the bestest big sister. x
I love that you've taught her some sign language to communicate and how much she's learning. I don't have kids, so I feel like you guys are my honorary niece and nephew with your growing family.
I do like that they discipline her at this age
It's so important so set boundaries at this age. Especially when curiosity turns into intentional testing the limits.

I laughed almost the whole way through this video and Micah is growing and changing so much it’s amazing!
When she picked up her bowl the first time it looked like she wanted more or to help clear the table. She is so smart for her age. 👍👍

Good gentle discipline, best to start early.
It really amazes me that she understands the concept already!

I can't say it enough. I look forward to your blogs Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. You guys make my day. Also Austin's face was hilarious when you told him he will be wearing the belly next video. Too funny. Love you guys.
Omg her little voice 😭😭😭😭 I can't wait to hear my son's voice. He's 9 months so we're getting mama dada hi but that's it.
Your doing such a great job with Micah!
Cute micah..cilly face ousum..I Olso running 3rd trimester..best of luck guys...u r superbbbb...love u micah..
Micah is such a little character! So funny! My little guy who is about her age is starting to get a little attitude sometimes and time outs have been working pretty well for us. So good luck with that. 😊
Also, going into labor naturally is definitely fun but stressful too! Every labor, even for the same woman, can be so different it's crazy!)
But good luck with everything and hopefully it's a smooth last couple months for you!
She is just too cute for words!!
I had a natural birth with no pain meds. You are a champ. It was a great experience to be able to do it natually. You know you wont push to hard bc you can tell. I will do it again. Good luck! Just say I g if you dont get meds you will do amazing!
Austin is such a sport. Pregnancy belly, here we come.
I like that ravioli turkey dinner idea
I don't want Micha to ever talk 😭 I love watching her little hand signs it's cuteness overload 😍
Micah is so darn precious. She really likes the camera. Your bump is looking good. I am sure you are exhausted. Hang in there it's almost time. She loves to eat bless her heart. Ty for sharing.
Love the fast forward of Micah! 😂
You guys, about going all natural with giving birth...it doesn't often happen that when labor starts you have to run to the hospital. For a lot of women it takes hours of labor at home before you would actually have to go to the hospital. So no need to worry about it being to stressful with vlogging 😉
Jess! I make this meal all the time but with quinoa instead of ravioli. I’ll have to try it with ravioli next time.
That was so cute with Micah 🙏😉
I hope the birth of your next daughter goes like you hope and wish for and with no complications 🙏❤
Good things happens to good and kind people 😉😉
Have a nice day and be safe and well
You guys are such great parents 💕
Seeing Micah eat is literally so cute. She’s definitely growing up!
looking forward to the birth vlog can not wait, and seeing Micah coming to see her sissy, oh my god bless you guys, and Jess do not forget to say CHEESE x
If you take walks up a slight incline near due date, this helps to get labor going.
Here in Germany you don't do that unless you're waaay over due or if it's medically necessary. I think 39 weeks is way too early to induce. But for me personally, of course I'd never judge anyone for doing so. I just think it's interesting that the Americans are so keen on getting induced.. 🤷🏽♀️😄
Excited nonetheless!
There's new research saying that you actually have a slightly lower chance of having a C-section if you get induced at 39 weeks versus having a natural birth at 40 weeks. I'm not sure if I'd do it with my next pregnancy but it is good information to consider.
Sometimes its medically necessary..
@@lizzie2103 yes..maybe read my comment again, that's what I wrote (:
A lot of times our doctors push for induction between 39 and 40 weeks. Usually to avoid a C-Section.
Hey Jess how about your surprise Austin with a test run.. you know “the works”. 😉😂
Much ❤
Love how much she grownup, she is so adorable🥰
She makes me want to cry she gettin so big y'all and jess yes its amaxing to have the body do its own thing
I loved this video of Micah eating and drinking and talking with Jess - so beautiful xx
Micha is so grown up now😫 I remember when she first come home 💕
That is great disciplining micah w time out
HI MICAH MOO!👋.. u are such a good eater😀..Jess & Austin, I LOVE THIS CHANNEL... ALWAYS LOOK FORWARD TO SUNDAYS... Just to get an update😍👍...
We also just LOVE having our birth video of Micah to look back on, and would hate to miss out on that precious video with our next.
@@AustinAndJess of course!
She just makes me smile x
I think she’d be cute with bangs until she’s old enough to keep clips or a headband on to grow it out.
i wish i had you guys for my parents and not my parents
