- Now that I've reached the third trimester of this pregnancy, we have been thinking of all the things to do before the baby gets here! We aren't ready for another baby yet, since we still have to pick a name, prepare the nursery, and get the plans ready for another baby! Visiting family was a nice getaway from the normal everyday business, but now it's time to but the pedal to the metal, and get stuff done before baby gets here!

I’m currently dealing with some major chapped lips and I saw a doctor on RUclips mention that nipple cream was the BEST lip remedy! Thought you’d like to know since you’re not allowed to use your hydrocortisone cream for your lips right now. Not nitpicking, just trying to be helpful. Lot of love! ❤️✌🏻

I think Micah was wanting to hold the baby but she wanted to sit in the box to hold him... She's adorable.. and so smart.

You're insane! It's 50 degrees here in South Texas and I'm covered in a quilt and wearing a jacket. But I hear in Finland after a sauna they run out and roll in the snow!
I'm 30 weeks today, and I have just gotten diagnosed with sciatica. I hope you're not nearly as uncomfortable as I am! It is exciting to think our babies are going to be here in 2 months! I can't wait to see Micah as a big sister ❤️

Good luck you guys! Our daughter is just about a week or two younger than Micah. She was a big mover in my belly and she is just as spunky and sassy as I expected! Not much sleep had here though 😂

Woohoo seeing the new baby, he’s a big gorgeous boy, my 2nd son was a big baby, grew up to be over 6ft tall and big shoulders. Our 1st son only catnapped our 2nd was a dream at night. So glad Micah is better I love the hot tub and her swan suit, adorable. I saw her moving in your tummy, Jess, human nature is a wonderful thing xx

This was wonderful for Micah! She loves the water and playing with her cousin and her bathing suit is the best of all! Where did you get the swimsuit? Amazon, maybe? My 4 grandchildren will be in water in May because grandpa is in Florida and golfing and swimming. He always go to a hotel and the kids never want to leave the water! You're getting so close. Try to focus on the last few weeks and do what you can to cherish every moment. I was almost 35 weeks when my world came crashing down and lost my sweet baby boy last week. I wish I had done so much and cherished the pregnancy but now its too late. Hope you and baby stay healthy.

My daughter was extremely active in my belly. Once she was born, she's remained extremely active. She's almost 9 months old. So, who knows, little girl might be very active.
I think she will be. Micah has always been pretty chill, so I think this is gonna be a big "level up" for us all 😅😅

Just to make you aware, Micah's car seat chest harness is too high (1:45) and should be a little bit lower to her chest and not by her neck.

I wish I could stop saying this, but I love little ones too much not to. PLEASE Google if children should be in hot tubs or spas. If you do allow it, the water should be set at 98°. Their little bodies cannot process the 102° to 104° that they are normally set to and can become dehydrated very quickly.

Please please please do not let second child syndrome into your home. It is very real and is damaging at every degree.

Second child syndrome is usually something everyone makes a huge joke over the whole "Marsha, Marsha, Marsha!" Story from The Brady Bunch. But it can be much more psychological than that second or subsequent children are often treated differently and in extreme cases a second child doesn't have to be treated differently to feel like a child affected. It's that second child's perception that is the most important factor. I can't remember the stats but you'd be surprised by the number of adults when asked said they were treated differently than other siblings. As for the number of them that said they were treated differently than other siblings, again, I can't remember the number but it was over 60%, said they were treated negatively compared to their older siblings. it's really quite interesting. I know I'm an "affected second child" but I found it funny because I don't feel negatively towards my older brother. I loved him, I loved my family, I loved my parents. But because it bugs me even a little (it does bother me that there is no baby book and there are zero pictures of me before the age of two), means I'm an affected adult.
It can also affect their growth and development. Second children can often not be willing to share at places outside of the home because they often have to give up a toy to an older sibling because it once belonged to the older child. It can be so minimal that it's a honest to goodness joke among all members of the family including the second child to a huge psychological problem into adulthood. I'll try and link the documentary I watched and the papers I read. It was an interesting subject to research.

Micah is a cutie wanting to hold the baby. I definitly seen baby girl moving. You should figure out a first n middle name that comes from your three first names and your three middle names. So her first name would be made out of Jess,Micah,Austin then figure out what her middle name is from using all three of urs it will make her even more super special not only to u two but to micah as well to know her new sissy has her name using some of her letters out of her name

I have boy/girl twins and my boy is about 2lbs heavier. My girl is always trying to pick up her brother and ends up pulling him on top of her 😂.
