Nice win! The second half of that game had a lot of positions where I think Ben Finegold would say "If two engines are playing it's equal, with two humans black always wins".
Just noticed Lichess lists one of the Mongolian players' names backwards. Möngöntuul is the given name, while Batkhuyag is the patronymic. Weirdly, Boldbaatar Altantuya is ordered correctly right below her...
Eric! Idea for you. Can you have themed speedrun episodes after Switzerland? For example, for the next 5 episodes I’ll play the scotch with white and the Sicilian with black. Also since you’re into crazy gambits, have you seen the Cochrane variation of the petrov? It’s named after an ancestor of mine. Would like to see it at some point.
16:10 White had b4 in that position... b4 would disrupt black's harmony on the queenside... If ...Nc4 Rxc4 looks good to me :) Better yet; Continuing with b5 threatens to break up the queenside...
Last night I had a dream that I saw Eric Rosen going to a chess tournament. I made my family stop the car, and I jumped out and ran about 2 blocks in his direction; He ended up turning into my brother from out of town, for some reason. But I know what I saw!

@sollertia_ not really sure about the terminology you used, but maybe you can help me, I've played around 400 games so far about 300 rapid I'm rated 1250 and I looked at so many openings and studied them not so deeply, cause I always got to a point where I like a certain opening for instance I really liked ponziani but just would only go to the line every other game so I came back looking for systems like the london started playing it but then again I kinda got annoying cause learning the repertoire was really bad for me since I could never find enough youtube videos showing all lines so I just kinda gave up, I thought about an idea to make a sort of "puzzle pack" for myself I mean like puzzles that just cover all lines of the london that I face and just keep adding in more lines until I remember everything but idk how to do that if it's even possibme
The middle game was just beautifully done. Kudos Eric

10/10 at explaining yourself Rosen. I respect your chill vibes. Have a great weekend!
Solid win! Looks like you paced your time well and never gave him a chance to gain an advantage. Kudos!
11:10 STONKS
The amount of calculation that goes into each move 🔥🙂
Well done. Nice game. Thanks for sharing. I really appreciate you talking through the moves. It really helps ❤
Take some rest!! Good game Eric
Thanks very much Eric, and congratulations for an impressive win.
Great game Eric, glad to see you get the win!
Secrosen Weaposen to Crosen the Catalosen Openosen
Yipesen!
22:00 opponent resigned with 2-58 on the clock to Rosen's 47-43, that's a big margin in time! Well done. Thank you for the recap.
seemed decisive
No no, Eric was with less time in the clock than his opponent but he reached time control and then I think 45 additional minutes are added!
Your opponent has incredible hair
Brilliant! Really well played.
Yep, really nice game. Well played Eric.

I kinda get one of the "clear plans" once every 6 videos.... 😂
One careless move and then things went downhill very quickly
Chess in a nutshell (at least above a certain elo)

Thanks Eric!!
This is a really nice game!
97% accuracy? This is very clear to me
6
oh no my procedure
Chess + asmr is dangerous combination
Disappointed that Eric didn't mention chessmood.
The undeclared paid promotion was becoming a bit too obvious
Nice game Eric :)
Best of luck tomorrow Eric! No need to say you played great since Stockfish already said it ;)
Stone pretty good ideas
eric winson streak continues
This was the game you were playing when I was visiting the Biel Chess Festival, great job converting this one!
At 4:44, is it out of the question to take the queen with the knight? That would defend c2
I think you mean c7. Looks like e4 would kick the knight and leave c7 undefended again.
16:10
White had b4 in that position...
b4 would disrupt black's harmony on the queenside...
If ...Nc4 Rxc4 looks good to me :)
Better yet; Continuing with b5 threatens to break up the queenside...
11:10 have to see it again 😂
At first I was confused. Why does your female opponent have such prominent facial hair?
good decision making

This game shows the difference between a 2000+ player and a miserable 1000+ (me 😢)
rosen, love the content best chess teacher on yt for sure, is the jobava london good in low elo?
Jobava london is playable at all levels, including lower elo! It's relatively easy to learn and usually leads to attacks in the middlegame.
@eric-rosen sounds good, would you recommend it over the normal london system?

sorry it's a bit long so I don't know if you'll read it but thanks anyway
What, no more speedruns after that loss? 🤣😂
What's happened to the speed run?
As he mentioned more than once he's playing a tournament.
Too bad I can't post the LiChess Tools augmented chart, with its Accuracy line, where you can see the dips and highs very clearly.
Mocking the Rosenator? Big mistake.
hope youre not done with the speed run series after that encounter with the cheater
Stop doing this for openings I play 😭
Let’s go
No way se has more mustache than me
First!
Second!
Third?!
Nice game Eric :)
