The best noise generator I’ve ever used was on my old Moog Rogue (I believe it was more than just white noise but a blend with other noise like pink.) Mixing a bit of that in with some of the usual 1 or 2 oscillators really added some texture to the sound.
It’s a lot more simple to use, and the sound is a lot more focused and less versatile, while the Gen Loss can do a million things but has a bigger learning curve. The noise/white noise is very different on each as well
@@emilyharpist2 How would you say this compares? I have a Shallow Water but I sometimes wonder if I'd prefer a different flavour. Maybe I'd miss the gate?
Hey! Have you ever checked out any of the pedals Cusack Music has to offer? I only recently discovered them and have been eyeing the Cusack Tap-a-Whirl, an analog, tap tempo, Tremelo and their Tap-a-delay pedal. Also, I'm not a paid shill. Just some random weirdo that love pedals. And harps.
@@henryhill92 Sometimes I find it wearying that many popular demo channels are a parade of $500 bleep-bloop boxes which are not easily accessible to the majority of consumers. Valid opinion and I'm free to express it. Okie dokie?
@@DanFlashes99 I agree my guy, I feel the same but I enjoy the demos Also there is a hidden giveaway for a $400 pedal on this channel lol check her latest short
to think the same people who complain about buffered bypass degrading signal will shell out hundreds of dollars for a pedal that makes your signal sound degraded.... its degrading
The sound pairs so well with the harp! I love the wobble/distortion combo
The piece starting around 0:31 is magical! Beautiful sounds.
The real lofi pedal was the friends we made along the way
that's the nicest thing anyone's ever said to me.
Lolllllll
Really unique lofi sounds from Malemonisba. Malioninanj. Malishnia. Dang it. Great vid!!!
The white noise in the mix sounds nice kind of reminds me of silent hill 2
I like the quality of the lofi-ness of this pedal. really nice!
This is soooo beautiful i'm astonished
Now you can get that Tefifon sound without going full Techmoan
two harp lady videos within 24 hours? epic
You should do an entire short where Emily is dubbed by an Italian bot.
lo-fi goodness
Amazing work! Love the sounds and composition with the drum machine too.
I love the sounds
Amazing box, salute to the builders, just beautiful, i think i must have it...the pedal like it is made for you Em.
Really loved that demo at 1:40
wow. this sounds really really good! you're right, the noise knob isn't as harsh as others i've heard.
Lazy Sunday mornings, book-nook, cottagecore energy
Love it. Reminds me of the Oxenfree OST.
Thanks for sharing some sweet vibes Emily, we love you!
Music at 1:40 is beautiful
You play beautifully
i love it
Now THAT is a tasty harp jam.

No wonder so many Golden Eras are popping up on reverb all of the sudden. I would've loved it if y'all overdubbed the name throughout the video! 🤣
I was just thinking that I needed another generation loss at the start of my chain - this sounds like a dreamy alternative 😍😍😍😍
You are not helping! My pedalboard has zero square inches available. Fantastic sounds as always. 😍
crazy
thanks Pedal Mommy! 🥺
Any perks to getting this over a Generation Loss?
It’s easier to dial in a cool sound and the controls are a lot more simple, but the gen loss can do more!
Which is your fave lofi pedal?
Oh adjusting the knobs can yield different results eh I never woulda guessed
that Malinconia replacement LOL
Very interesting 🤔 great on the Harp but how about other instruments and vocals as well ❤️🩹🙏 🌸🤘🎸🤠

Is this the one for the give away 😫 id love to add this to my rig!
Do you release any tracks on Spotify?
Yes! Under my name Emily Hopkins
It's sounds like retro spaghetti.
Have you tried the Fairfield Circuitry Shallow Water?
Yes! I have a bunch of videos with it

this vs artifakt?
Can I have this pedal please? I liked and subscribed.
I wish you the best if I had the money I'd by it for you just because you had the gal to ask always cheers
What would you go for if you could choose only one lo fi pedal for vibrato warbles…the source audio artifakt or the maliconia?

another $400 pedal, yay
Yeah dude, address your anger about capitalism at two dudes making pedals by hand. They're definitely the root of the problem!

She couldn't hack it as a wedding harpist so now she has stooped to shilling pedals for profit!
Your a mushroom head

wow how rude, unnecessary and thoughtless. go get a life!
I dunno dude that sounds like a way better job
