What about Lzzy Hale(Halestorm), Daniella Villarreal(The Warning), Lulu Bertoldi (Euruca Sativa) Sonia Anubis(Cobraspell-former Burning Witches guitarist she was actually in the video..lol), Kanami Tono(Band Maid), June Millington(Fanny) really depends on what and how you rate them playing or the whole package. Joan Jett and Lita Ford are definately not just for how well they play. imo If it is total package you would even need to include Shakira she checks the boxes too(she used to rock out live in the early days). For those who have not noticed Tina S is back with a band and still plays with a look on her face like you just ran over her cat. lol But she shreds.

I don't know Nita Straus (1) but after Joan Jett (2) and Lita Ford (3) I gave up. Jett and Ford are very basic players. Putting them in a top 15 female guitarists is an insult to the many talented women players out there. You're not ranking women on how good they are. I don't know what you're ranking them on, fame?, looks? sexiness? I dunno, but it's shameful.
The only time there's a debate is when Joan Jett is included in these lists. Top list for best female rock performer, definitely yes! But in a list of top guitarists, no.
Nita is the best thing going today, I saw her live. Lord if she wasn't playing guitar she could definitely be a model, she's going to be married eventually, her BF proposed.
Heart was not founded by, Ann and Nancy Wilson. Ann joined almost a decade after the band was formed by, Steve Fossen, Roger and Mike Fisher. Nancy joined a couple years after Ann. I don't know who proofreads your material before it's published. Whomever it is, they're obviously under qualified.
Good to see Lovebites here but I'd honestly say Midori is the better player in the group. Miyako is great but she's more of a multi-instrumentalist all-rounder whereas Midori is very much a guitar shred specialist and plays far more advanced stuff than Miyako on average.
They're on the same level IMO. But like Miyakos sense of feel and tone, compared to Midoris speed technique. They compliment each other perfectly especially with their great harmonisations.
