Don't forget most fast food workers don't work 40 hours/week. Only the managers get 40 hours. Most of the workers are part time, so the corp doesn't have to pay them medical!
To be clear, 6 figures starts at 100,000 and ends at 999,999. So they aren't even making the low end of the spectrum. I don't like that we still say 6 figures, because it's a 900k range, and 100k for a family of 4 is exceedingly difficult these days.
Fast food is hard, tiring, stressful work. No skills? Try it, Jess. I'll laugh when you fail.
When Jesse was corrected that it's $40k and he pivoted to a couple, that made the math equation he couldn't do 4×2
If you make $20 an hour, you’re making six figures right? No? Okay but what if you made $20 an hour and also found a bag of money in an alley with 100K? That’s six figures right?
Every food service job I had would schedule me 32-34 hours. At 35 I count as full time and get some rights. They never fire you they just schedule you one hour per week and cut you from that
Most of these people do NOT WORK 40 hours per week tho right????
He forgot to add Kurt Angle into the mix.
😂😂😂
80000 is not alot for two people to live off who are working full time
Honestly? These days? It's hard to say that's a lot for ONE person. That said, it should be pretty doable depending on part of the country
Typically they won't let you work a 40 hour week at these jobs, because then they would have to give you benefits for full time work. Keep it at 32, you are part time.
I love Patrick Bitch-David. He's a working class hero.
He's a rich idiot
PBD representing all the pyramid workers.
Homelander of the MLMs
Why dose the math matter when what they are saying literally doesn't apply to the restaurant in question. The whole thing is bs not just the math.
Jessie is stupid 😅
Perfect for fox viewers
Beyond belief😅
Its so dishonest. Fast food workers don't make tips. Thats why it doesn't apply to other restaurants that serve alcohol.
yes - they are just bold face liars
And Jesse's mom is still very disappointed in him.
Very disappointed
Very very disappointed
_Very, very, very disappointed._
Working in any kitchen, including fast food can be grueling labor. There's a lot more going on than just cooking food. There is no real down time. If your not cooking your prepping food, cleaning equipment, walls, floors, ceilings, hot hood vents, the list goes on
guess it dosent really mater but Sam looks out of focus or something. I thought YT lowered my quality.
Once you see it, you can't unsee it. Might be a smudge on the camera. Might be the focus is off. The background and microphone is also fuzzy.
Emma just looks so good & in focus.
Jesse Waters looks hungover
Dobro den, muj komradý.❤
I absolutely LOATHE Jesse Waters.
I barked out a laugh when Emma said "Friday night viewing, for me" 😂
"Better not have been a Windsor knot."
Emma, you kill me over and over again. 🤣
Breaking News: Fast food workers typically do NOT get 40 hours per week. They are lucky to get 25 hours a week.
I make about $20 an hour. This is not the lap of luxury. I’m sure you’re shocked.
Thanks for breaking that down.
Anyone else notice he forgot to mention it’s 16 an hour PLUS tips most tipped workers I know make like 2 an hour plus tips
Jessie already knew the conclusion he was going for, he just couldn't read off a teleprompter to "tread the needle" to get there.
Why do the large business owners not cover the raise but instead pass on the cost to the consumers?
They don't want to cut into the profits meant for the shareholders.
God forbid that those of us with crappy jobs should get paid enough to MAYBE pay our bills, rent, and groceries without having to have 3 crappy jobs or work all of the overtime. 🙄
The moment he thought that FAST FOOD WORKERS were gonna make 6 figures is like how Trump was in that Chick-fil-A saying the workers there were getting rich.... but you know, they understand the working man, right?!
That he started talking about it, too, without already knowing. It's so lazy and stupid.
