    That's most beautiful posture, power,cadence, combo I've seen. His heart rate is probably barely over 135 he's not feeling lactate yet like any other would on such effort why they always follow him on poggio and usually that's rouleur puncheur climb he can just do it all. Coppi, merckx, anquetil, nibali, Gilbert, Sagan , tadej very few look so natural it jumps off screen. Vdp is revolutionized targeting races and just shredding them and wout can do it all but tadej is in that coppi, merckx, anquetil, hinault, nibali, Gilbert, Sagan class where they just race and can win everything theyre learning curve is prodigious like strade and Flanders for tadej. He's perfect rider. Hope bjerg, langen, wellens, vine, mccnulty, Yates/grosschartner, ayuso targeting white as super Dom for tadej j that's team that can roll through hills and accelerate up climbs and compete with any team jumbo included. Tadej with proper camp too. Still think tadej has 3more tours in him peak 28-32 in cycling when still have fast twitch muscles but slow twitch and endurance is at high and cerebrally it all comes easier from experience and you use teammates who know how to help. That's luxury of jumbo right now or sky had all the established pros who were also cycling junkies and lived it. Benoot, wout, primoz, dvb, kederman, sky had Porte, kwiato both winning one week Paris nice and Dauphine as domestique so strong and poels, landa, henao , prime moscon ,Thomas, froome, kiryenka,Rowe, they were loaded. Hope uae keep all these guys they will learn from tadej anf and all early twenties set to be next power team in cycling hills to grand tours and one weeks in between. Tadej will get msr he will have to target vuelta one year with worlds so he can add weight for roubaix and try to get all 5 monuments he's got incredible shot.

    These dudes cross chain more than you do, I bet he was on his 54/40 ring set and you did not even realize it. Notice his cadence vs yours, now with 12 speed systems you can cross chain even more and not have issues with snapped chains. Cross chaining allows more power to be put down on the wheels instead of spinning, this is what Pantani ( 54-44 set) was doing this a long time ago. I use a 52-42 chain ring set since I am shorter it helps with less spinning up hills. One thing to notice is if they are pulling away from you at a slower pedal rotation they are clearly on smaller sprockets but more likely cross chaining. Remember now with Electronic Shifting you can also setup your shift points to cross chain on purpose, this creates smoother power acceleration without any FD chain rub noise, this also means less spinning if you don't have the cardio for the cadence of that spin rate.

    • @louisyoko2723
      @louisyoko2723 11 месяцев назад

      Don't know who's advice your going off of but your height has no correlation to the number of teeth on the rings, bro. If you're short you should get short cranks, as that's what makes it more efficient. Ring size will feel the same regardless how tall you are, at the same power output levels.

    • @danfuerthgillis4483
      @danfuerthgillis4483 11 месяцев назад

      @@louisyoko2723 Actually it does, shorter legs and if you have them built big you can take advantage of bigger rings to spin less, but you have to be cross chaining to get the advantage. Bigger rings is about cross chaining the big ring to the bigger sprockets on the back as this gives you a massive advantage with shorter legs when climbing even thought it goes against the "Spinners" out there.

    • @louisyoko2723
      @louisyoko2723 11 месяцев назад

      @@danfuerthgillis4483 what you're describing doesn't depend on or correlate with how long your legs are, if I can push 500 with long legs and you can push 500 with short, if we both ride 54 big ring and same rear sprocket there's going to be 0 difference between us. The crank length on the other hand does make a big difference. It's simple physics FFS.

    • @danfuerthgillis4483
      @danfuerthgillis4483 11 месяцев назад

      @@louisyoko2723 You are forgetting that shorter legs have the most important muscles closer to the pedals, ever seen a 6 foot dude off the saddle on a 54-28 combo? not likely as their height is a weakness when riding off the saddle grinding the bigger rings. The advantage of a shorter leg is to apply power quickly, the disadvantage is when spinning as the rotation is much faster. This is the same as a 6 foot runner and a 5 foot runner with a shorter leg gap having to spin more.

    I saw Pog in Montreal, and yes, he really does make it look easy, just like it looks here.

    Killer strength and killer VO2...would love to know what his HR is during a ride like this. My guess is it's low. He's known for his Z2 training...and doing a lot of it.

    The Pog has a super impressive Souplesse pedal stroke . Smooth . Guess he knew u were behind him. ??
    If he did , gr8 that he didn't wave u off.
    He is a very polite well measured young fella & l doubt that he would be bothered by a an amateur 😅trying 2 hang on his wheel .
    Obviously very well raised by his parents 👏
