Always loved the Arabics on version 5. Also like the small seconds on other versions. Bambino works in many ways.
I don't usually like gold plated or faux gold watches, but the rose gold finish on this model really goes well for my tastes, and I have one on order, and its coming from USA with all taxes paid apparently! I hope it looks like in this vid when I get it.

Idk why orient keep forcing that date window through. It's straight up kills the beautiful design. It looks out of balance and forced. On some designs the date window works but on this one I don't think it does.
I respectfully disagree. If the window had a glaring border and was bigger then I'm with you but this was tastefully done imo. It's not an eyesore imo.
The date window only looks weird because of the font. They needed to put a bit more thoughts into the font of the numbers in date window. Stylistically, that font doesn’t work. It’s an eyesore.
I can't find this watch anywhere online. Lots of V2s, some open hearts and small seconds, but no V5s.

when was lunched, this watch receive so much hate. They complain about numeral bad printed, etc. But today, I just wanted something like that. You can't find it. Hope they bring it back with a 38 mm or 36 mm
Maaan i just bought this watch..got it today at 50% off somehow..its just incredible classy watch...maan that dial looks insane in real...pictures on online shops and even videos dont show how that dial is in real..its just 1000x times better in real...:)) didnt expect to like it that much..i think its the best classy watch i have..pure style!!

Why did no one tell me this came in a 36.4 mm size?! Im going to buy my first mechanical and it’s between the Orient 5s(36.4mm) or the Timex Marlin(34mm). I love small watches and I’v been waiting for a while for Orient to finally make something smaller.
Agree a 36mm option would be good as well as a hand wound 9ct gold watch

I bought one and i love it..... BUT.....and I will say it.....they really need to rebrand the logo..... and fonts.... and clean up the face. Water resistant.... all a bit 1970's. Very important then (apparently) but now? Who is putting this watch under water? If you fell in a swimming pool at a party with this watch on it's going to survive..... if you dive the Titanic with it on probably not so much. Can you imagine this watch with a crisp, clean logo on a white Bauhaus face with blue hands? Glashutte would be running for cover!
Great watch - got it in rose gold and swapped out the alligator strap for a lighter brown strap. Fantastic bargain.

I would say no since their more likely to be a bit overpriced for a more than likely quartz watch. At the price point you can purchase a higher quality watch brand. Tissot, Certina, Seiko, and Hamilton are all pretty good brands to start on.

It's gold tone stainless steel. Not finding any actual gold used in pieces of this price.
