He was amazing with words and I love his voice and way of singing. My father went to sea at a similar age (16). He just showed up at the dock and asked ”Can I work for you?”. Answer, ”Yes”, but then he was of course Shanghai-ed and had to leap ship in Helsinki, but not before doing the Americas. The most beautiful women in the world, according to him, are Cuban.
Thank you!
He actually prohibited the radio to play any of his songs when they censored one of his songs.
Two suggestions:
Millas mirakel - Rytmen av ett regn. A catchy song from 1988(?).
Lennart Hagvall - Det är så hälsosamt och stärkande i fjällen. From 1947:ish, but don't let that fool you. It's catchy, funny and quite daring for it's age.
There's so many amazing Cornelis Vreeswijk songs.
Ågren, Grimas om morgonen and Blues för Fatumeh is some of hss best and darkest songs.
And Personliga Person I rambled about in my other comment.
Cornelis the voice of Sweden 🇸🇪
An amazing song :)
The background music is a bit loud
Quite fun to see your reactions Jon.
Many great suggestions from others on more of Cornelius songs, I'll add one too, Hönan Agda is a funny and good classic.

I like your content, Im subscribing now!
Thanks!
I have been watching a lot of this guys "reacts to" videos in a row.. and I am a BIT surprised that he has watched TWO Cornelis Vreeswijk songs, but NOT "Balladen om Fredrik åkare, och den söta Cecilia Lind"... Together with "Jag trivs bäst i öppna landskap" I'd say it's part of the Swedish Anthems.
Om du gillar Cornelis tycker jag du ska lyssna på Brevet från kolonin!
Brev från Kolonien is a cover of Camp Granada - but the Swedish version is a lot more R-rated!
@@kattahj men den är censurerad, fattas en vers
What a Nice Show 🎧⭐️❤️⚓️🏴☠️👍
Thanks for watching!
Cornelis hardly did any covers. He made it all by himself.
Cornelis covered Bellman and Taube quite a bit. He had entire albums of their songs and some of his biggest hits are among them. He also renade and in some cases translated Victor Jara.
Nja , han var konstnär, hade fantasi. Som såna har. det var menat som beröm .
Latin rhythms are from south america, not spain. An Cornelis wrote this, folk singers usually write their own stuff.
