@@essentialys6200 I have a f11 535d. Its easy to drift with it, it never understeers, you dont sense the speed in the car since its a big and quiet car. Not feeling like a boat at all tbh (although I perfer to drift a 3-series much more, because they are more agressive, nimble and light).
Considering it has significantly more power paired with dct with 3 maps and an M active differential. It’s much better due to those reasons. The suspension setup and the way the car is tuned doesn’t hurt either
@@OctedGFX LSD = limited slip differential which allows the back tyres to spin at the same speed which is needed to be able to slide/drift compared to normal cars which have an open differential that make back tyres spin at different speeds while turning for more traction and less tyre chirping
@@benmatrix bmw transmissions especially the newer ones are great in sport auto for simple power slides. It generally knows when to stay in a gear or to shift up/down.

this isnt 520d its 528i petrol engine but all f10 have lsd

i'm assuming you put it in manual mode while doing drifts ?
during drifts while i do several corners together yes but during powerslides its in automatic mode
