Love seeing the babies feeling more comfortable coming down to the hill side. Amazing that Ostriches are coming too giving some protection to the littles
Hey Jami. For your fruit trees, there's a product called a water blatter. You place it around the tree and fill it with water. The water seeps out and waters the tree.😊
The babies don’t like going to the trail down to the river by themselves, so seeing them over there with mom is a wonderful thing! Lots of great foraging for them there.❤
Hi Jami. Loved the animals coming with you whilst you watered. Glad the trees survived hope they manage another season. Have an awesome Saturday take care re much love and prayers God bless 💕🙏👢
Good Saturday morning Jami and fur babies. This year in parts of Canada 🇨🇦 spring came early which made berries and garden things confusing. Usually the berries especially keep the bears out of my home town but they are visiting in town at the restaurant garbage bins mostly. Many yrs ago a bear came in the front door of a restaurant and people going out the other door 😅. Loved seeing Paw Paws video this morning of him and Gigi visiting the JLR for the first time. He said it waa awesome. Have a fantastic day 😎 ❤❤
Jami, I've been waiting to see that you've germinated your Passion Fruit seeds you were gifted. Yes, it's a vining plant and would need a trellis. You'd be ecstatic how beautiful the flowers are and the fruit is much like a kiwi.
Good Saturday morning, Jami ! North Texas needs rain. The animals are enjoying the morning before it gets hot . Have a blessed and amazing day. GOD bless you. ❤ 😊
The babies want to be near Mama Jami - and vice-versa, of course! Jami has changed a blank, somewhat basic property into a true lush paradise. Yes it's hot in Texas but the place is now welcoming and gorgeous - as is Jami. Gene was impressed by everything at the JL. Of course he found the old truck very interesting. He stated he would definitely drive it if was 'running'. LE seemed a bit amazed that Gene would actually drive it. (I would also drive it but I would need a/c, the Texas heat has caused me to pass-out several times. Years ago I almost moved to The Woodlands.) Jami's touch is evident on all 3 properties in Texas and that is a beautiful thing.
Dinky Daryl is calling Rita, Beverly, IMA and IVY. It is so good that the Littles and Birds are grazing on the ridge. Just hope they don't try going down to the bottom. 😮❤
I love this property. If I’m living in the area in 4 years ( it might happen ) I’d love to buy it if it goes up for sale. I think you have made it a perfect place.
We grow muscadines in eastern North carolina and they do not always produce every year. I have found that sometimes they grow better in the dryer climate, but not always. Me and my son's place bets on whether they're going to grow each year..lol. I loved watching Lex and Conner gather the grapes for you last year. You did have a bunch!
Yes Muscadines do better in drought then in lots of rain. We make Muscadine Wine and Jam and Jelly out of ours. This year is a bad year for them. I hope this helps you Jami. Love seeing the babies out about eating. Hope you have a bless evening.
I’m glad that not all the trees bit to dust. My guess is that between the rain and wind, not many trees had enough pollen to work its magic. The same for the muscadine. Maybe next year.🙂
Jami, Idk if this helps any but….my dad used to put maybe 3 or 4 of these stakes up in our orchard (NC and peaches, plums and apples) and hang some green n white bags he bought at a greenhouse up and all kinds of beetles, flies, caterpillars etc would fill them up. 🤷🏻♀️ It was an awesome orchard😊
In this 100°F ➕ daily weather we're having Jami....laying a hose on a trickle for a few hours will do more good than top surface watering 💧 but any water is better than no water 😊
Yep, weather sure affects everything, doesn’t it? It’s like a whole different climate for your fruit this year … with all the infestations you had, it’s good your trees made it!
Jami I have noticed that this year my pecan tree is what I call bare n also the leaves have also started falling really early. It started in July. So I'm thinking it had to be that last late frost that caused this. I'm not real sure. Have a great day!!😊😊
I'm on the hunt for a Plum tree. Plums are my favorite fruit. Next would be peaches, but they're so danged expensive. Only problem planting fruit trees here is the deer make a feast out of the trees, fruit or no fruit. Once the deer attack them they die! 😞
muscadines are usually harvested in Aug. here in Florida. Not sure if it's the same there. They will come back though. They grow wild, So it should be ok
Have you tried mixing water and baking soda and spraying on your plants and trees. It’s supposed to help get rid of bugs naturally. You would have to research on how to mix.
Jamie cant you use those geen bags of water? You would just fill the bags with water and it slow releases into the soil. Would save you time watering the trees.
Yes, I was going to suggest that too! Because the trees are so small it would be quite easy to encase them in very fine netting before the caterpillars show up.

I also love to see the babies out and about enjoying filling their bellies ❤

I think it's every other year for Muscatines. The same with fruit trees.😊❤❤❤
💖❤💘💝💓I love watching your videos. Thank you for sharing a part of your day with us!!! Have a great evening!!!

The fruit trees will continue to establish each year. It takes a while but they will get there. They look great. 😘😘😘❤

Jami I don’t think the wild vines produce every year or at least as much. Mine don’t I’ve noticed. Hopefully you’ll get another great crop next year.
Good morning Jami have great weekend .❤❤Jean
Looks like a nice Saturday morning Jami the sun is out so pretty hope you have a wonderful day
I love seeing the river walks with the goats & Lester - i'm happy they are keeping you company
Need some of those nets you put around the tops of the fruit trees during the buggy times.
Good Saturday Morning ❤

Jami...don't water a tree near the trunk. Water about 1 foot around the trunk will get the roots to spread out in search for water
The trees you really need to soak Jami give them a slow trickle let it run for a bit to get to the bottom roots
Good morning jami great to see u xxxx
Good 🌅 morning Jami 🌻🌞
Always nice to have company😊

Water is essential for trees and plants to live. ❤

They looked happy xx
Put some compost and a layer of mulch around the base of the fruit trees
👋❤️💯
Good morning Jami
That is the word for Starla. Out!!

May be trimming your fruit trees would help. When they get started all that fresh fruit will be soo great.
Good morning Jami have a wonderful weekend ❤
Indie feels safer now that Tat is gone!!

Good Morning ❤
I don’t remember hearing about the abundance of muscadines last year … what did you make with them?
@@milkweed697 Lex and Connor helped her pick them
@@theresauhlenhake3822 ... Thank you, Theresa ... I'm not sure how, but I must have missed that one!
My strawberry 🍓 plants are so pretty this years, my oldest grandson love Strawberries so next year he can eat till his stomach full…

I hope your trees make it.
My Muscadine didn't fruit thos year...lots of green no fruit 😢

Good morning
What is happening with those cutter ants you had before are they still there
Yes, I would like to know how they got rid of them.
They had pest control come in. The pest control people put something around the perimeter of the property.
