With the annoyance of no fixed bed or drop-down bed, the cooker in a silly place next to fabric, and 1980s caravan decor, I'm amazed they sell any of these van based campers, especially at such exorbitant prices.
the decor was dull, to me, but would suit some people.
It's funny how quickly he shows you accessories without actually deploying them fully. The shower and toilet look impossible to fit into. All these tiny campervans look great in theory but I'm sure once you live in one it's not quite so glamorous.
Exorbitant, I take it you haven’t seen the prices in the US. Probably would pay double for something like this.

I like the layout - very flexible , and easily changed at the back into a double you can leave up. I like the colour way inside too - yes it’s a bit dated but still fresh and pleasant, however I don’t like that cooker location - grease will undoubtedly splatter into this cushions. Also it’s expensive for what it is, compared to what the competitors prices were at the NEC in Spring.
This is perfect. They included everything anyone living van life needs.
These smaller campers really give engineers a great platform to test their ingenuity
and for users to test their flexibility.

If the cooker doesn't have a splash guard I can imagine that one end of the bench seat could get very messy very easily.
Yes I've always used a gas ring outside for frying etc even easier now with external gas point's.
Yes I noticed that too, definitely needs a divider between seating and cooker...
Remember the voltage is 12V metric volts or you will fry your cell phone.

With a van conversion it's always a battle between bed and lounge. I don't want to have to assemble my bed every evening, but I do like the lounge in the back. Six of one or half a dozen of the other... Thanks for the tour!

you should check out that wingamm 540, it has an amazing space efficient method for their bed. I’m currently seeing if i can copy their idea for a van conversion build.

Basically this is a van that you can live out of if needed. This is literally a tiny house on wheels- so no it is not expensive. Most people are paying over $1K/month for a silly apartment. It all how you look at it.

I love these Auto Sleepers, especially the Nuevo.
Beautifully designed interior, lovely bright feeling inside - love the interior colours. Rear lounge is great. But the price is incredibly expensive.

I can really get behind something like this. Only change for me would be to eliminate the dining area furniture altogether and use the space for something else, perhaps storage (either open storage area or add in a closet or two). Overall lovely van.
Like the black exterior and the interior colours are nice as well, the only problem i see personally is the finish trim on the inside of the rear doors some German and French manufacturers I've noticed make a much neater job . Nicely presented once again Nick and I am beginning to get into the Boating channel you have as well some beautiful boat's and even more beautiful price's lol.

Some good design in there 😎. Toilet shower was top notch, but the rear door area including the double sleep area was a bit pants. We need a good mattress to sleep in.
though being able to access the back could be very useful. perhaos a decent matress topper? though where to store it... in the top bit where the other matresses went? that bit would have been a better table, perhaps?

Fantastic looking camper van. This would be great to use on short camping trips or when taking a long road trip to see national parks.
I like this because I hate using public restrooms when taking road trips. Heck even when taking local trips or using it as an office on wheels.
I love seeing these and would love to purchase something like this in the future but majority of these are in my eyes very very expensive for what they are .
I agree. 😊 It's a fuss to make the bed 🛏 and it's not that spacious in comparison to other counterparts...😊 The wheel 🎡 base seems a bit low as well 😃 it's not an off grid car 🚙

A young lady (who's a designer by profession) and designed her own van... and as a result is now designing such for others. There's NOTHING she hasn't thought of. There's an outside shower for her dog/muddy boots; even her bed comes down from the ceiling! (The table conversion thing is available for guests if needed). She has a fully functioning shower and loo. SO much in a small space yet it looks wow. The best home on wheels I've ever seen...

That's about $ 80,000 us. I wish I could find something like that in the US. Everything here is 100,000 to $200,000.

I love this Auto Sleeper .
You do a great video my friend no mater what it is your filming. My first camper I lived in was a Auto Sleeper and that is a modern version of mine. Materials for furniture is a lot better but the design I think falls way short. I can not remember the year of mine but the style of that could not swing a cat never mind have friends in. No way could you invite people in the back of. Knees would be knocking he’ll out of each other. Mine at the front with swivel passenger chair and seat as you climb in was comfortable for 5 to have tea with table or just guests drinks table no knees banging at all. Hey Nick I really like this motorhome the layout is perfect and yet gives options, I also like the rear seats bringing the outside inside but that also includes insects and I wondered if Fairfield would include an awning covering the rear doors using something similar like a bimini, just an thought have a good one bud
This model is the Fairford. The Fairford Plus has a rear awning as well as the side awning. Its also slightly longer I think

I have a stack of old motorhome mags from the 90s, 00s &10s. Second hand vans are now going for more than their original value or close to the original price after heavy use, the market has lost its head. The new van prices are starting to go into boat territory. If you buy a van at these crazy prices you are helping this problem.
Looks great and well kitted out but i would rather have just the one sitting/sleeping area and a bigger bathroom. Maybe that could be custom built? ❤
why do they put a sink in the toilet when there is one in the kitchen which is only a meter away?

Can someone explain to me why these vehicles have such a low horsepower engine. My Ford Focus has 180 horsepower and it's less than half the size of one of these.
It's because you don't need more. Most cars use bugger all horsepower even at cruising. Power figures in recent years have escalated due to marketing. Remember when 200hp was a fantastic hot hatch...with modern speed limits and congestion massive power is useless unless in Germany.
What torque does your car have and what torque does the van have, torque plays a lot .
I initially thought the same thing. My small A3 Sportback has 207., so how is this massive machine supposed to go up a Swiss mountain? But with Diesel engines it's about torque, not horsepower. A full-size 18-wheeler has 500 horsepower but massive torque. With a van or motorhome it's not about top speed or 0-60.
Do any motor homes have seets for 5 people to travel in as I have a family of 5?

Very nice layout.
A nice looking and well thought out rig. An awning on the rear would make that an even nice place to be. I love the look of black vehicles, but I won't own one again. Had to run the air more due to the extra heat. Might have balanced a bit in cooler weather, maybe, but I don't rv in cold weather.

How much and who makes it
Lovely van. All new Autosleepers both van conversions and coach-built are overpriced. We've had two Autosleepers, one was a new EB in 2014. Price new for this now is over £20,000 more! How can they justify that. They still come with snags, and good luck with that process. I only hope Autosleepers are more sympathetic with their repair policy, than when we had ours. We always went to the AS Service Centre in Broadway, avoiding going through the not so helpful dealer, and we're regulars there for minor internal and external repairs! We sold ours a few years ago as it was becoming too expensive to run. Not only keeping ahead of the snag repairs out of warranty but also the Peugeot diesel engine had too many "engine light on again" issues! We tried to use our AS coachbuilt EB regularly, but it doesn't always work out like that. You need to use a van for at least two months in every year to break even. So unless you are rich, don't do it until at least you are retired! This is my opinion from our experience, yours maybe different of course.

Id turn the entire van into a bathroom and mobile storage facility… and I’ll just pack a good tent and sleep outdoors.
2 seats swivel to sit followed by 4 places to sit at a table and then 4 more places to sit at the back … hmmm IMO too many sitting places for a van designed for 2. Back end should be full time bed, raised, with big storage available underneath from the rear
