As an American this was definitely the definition of my “dream house” it’s literally all I wanted as a kid. A nice house with a white picket fence & a dog.

As an American i found it funny that you said the truck was odd or out of place cause to me it was probably the most American thing about this build. Anyway, I love it, the entire thing was super cute and I love how you make storylines for each of your builds! I was actually thinking when I saw the thumbnail that you were gonna make one of the parents a trucker. Obviously you cant do that in the Sims but it definitely fits the "American dream" theme.
When I saw the truck on the thumbnail, I knew the build would be accurate 😭😂.

Omg! In the Sims 3 I loved having roommates that were apart of a band. Trying to make it big. A band that I made and absolutely loved was a punk rock band from Midnight Hollow, and their neighbors were the Addams Family. Oh the memories! By the way, I love when you make lived-in builds. I'm obsessed with the backpacks being put on the coat rack. It's so cute and realistic. And all of the clutter really makes this house seem more cozy, natural, and what a busy family WOULD live in.

Gorgeous build! Living down south in the US, the truck is DEFINITELY accurate. Lots of truckers park their trucks in their driveway when they’re off the road. Love your channel!

Great build! There's nothing wrong with being a Lindsay Lohan Fan. 😂 Parent Trap and Freaky Friday were great! But both films are remakes of earlier films, which were also great.

Lovely build as always! The one thing you forgot is a dishwasher! (But I understand why it’s not in the build as they are kind of ugly and annoying in the sims) And most American homes don’t usually use clothes lines outside as even in cheaper homes there is usually a washer and dryer
(Also this house would probably need at least three cars as americans love their cars- but of course it is the sims)

The band stuff is such a GREAT idea!!!!!
Love the build as always, but I genuinely have never seen a American suburb house that is this beautifully landscaped 😂 usually it’s all grass and maayyybe one tree and shrub. If there is any greenery it’s the same type all around the house. Not complaining and defiantly love this rendition way more but just want to lower your expectation of how well designed American suburb landscaping actually is. Inside is pretty accurate though. On a lighter note really love this build and all the builds you make, if my laptop had the ability and I all the dlcs, I would be only downloading your builds because they give so much life.
I looove your builds!! I’ve been following you for almost three years and you’re my go-to Simmer when I’m looking for a new building to place into my game. I love how cluttered and lived-in your houses feel.
However, I do think that for the sake of variety, you should build some houses with less clutter, maybe more in a minimal style. Just as we humans are all different, I’d like to imagine that the sims are all different as well and for example, a neat freak sim would probably live in a more neatly organised, minimalistic house where there’s not a lot of things out in the open. I think you should maybe add one or two houses like that in your save file if you want to it to be more realistic. ☺️

Jessica, i’m just wondering how does your game never lag or go really slow . Mine does it constantly yet i’ve deleted all cc, mods, and old save files. sorry to ask but do you have any advice? like would it be better if i bought a better pc with more storage etc?

May i ask why you seem to use 2 normal upper cabinets instead of the corner piece? It doesnt look bad, but im just interested if theres a particular reason? Lovely build as always ❤
Of course! Depending on the build I switch up wether I use the proper corner pieces or the normal ones, I like to use the actual corner pieces when I imagine the kitchen to be maybe a bit older and wanting a more traditional feel because a lot of the corner pieces have plates and stuff in, which to me feels more traditional (hopefully that makes sense!) & thank you! 🥹🫶🏼
