As an ex-Ford employee, i was frosted at the time Ecoboost engines were forced down our throats as we were finally making great products and getting reliability under control. The Push for EV felt much the same way. Ford loves to bang shit together and develop it later, then switch it up as soon as its sorted. (Ex Ford Tech Hotline Employee, and current owner of 7 Ford vehicles)
They let the dealership technicians figure out everything engineering got wrong. Then when it becomes impossible to figure out flat rate in an 8 hr workday, they call tech hotline. The engineers and the UAW gotta do better.
All ford needs to do to make some form of redemption would be a coyote/hybrid get and 3.5 Ecoboost for the basic package and some kind of Ecoboost coyote. Open software for engine and transmission management. Priced accordingly $30-$40k-$55k
It doesn't matter, Alex, he's still making V8 cars. Not everybody wants their car to be tuned. Some people just want A V8 and the manual transmission. Not everybody goes to the track some people just like a bad ass street car.
Ford has never built a low 10 second or 9 second v8 from the factory, there's nothing bad ass about 12's in the quarter. This is tuning channel. Go watch someone else. If you want to be in the 12's untuned, this channel is not for you.
@@YDBT4LIFE But let me say one more thing. Let's not forget that my slow stock car is 10 times more reliable than your tuned car have a nice day. And I still have a V8 and I still have a manual transmission 😀😎
@@YDBT4LIFE Wait a minute, are you telling me you would rather a hybrid V6 Turbo rather than the American V8? If that's what you're saying that's completely sacrilegious... Say what you want in my world. There's no replacement for displacement long live the american V eight!!!
@@musclecars92 this is why you don't get it. V6 tt hybrid awd cars are literally supercars. V8 are fine but not n/ a and for the 100th time. Ford has not made a na v8 worth shit on a stock tune since the 60s . Grow up.
Alex, correct me if I'm wrong. The only V6 cars that I have saw that were superior was the ford GT and the Nissan GTR name, one other V6 outside of those 2 cars. That's more powerful than a naturally aspirated V Eight engine ?@@YDBT4LIFE
I have a question for someone who can answer this coyote question I have.. what is the difference in putting parts from any year coyote engines and then with the f150 coyote engine. are they all meant to fit or they need modifying?
@@COCarDude okay cool so how would you say fitment was with parts? bcs I’ve heard like putting a gt350 manifold into n the new f150 requires some modifying to make work
This is going to blow the mind of pump gas guys, but there are Octane calculators online for mixing race gas with 91 or 93 octane. So if you want to bump up your 91 to 93 or make sure your 93 is nice and sweet (94 octane) without worrying about a tune change or increased maintenance from adding booster and you have access to a 100 octane pump, do that. Don't cross your fingers and hope that the tune will just trim out Ethanol.

I quit buying the Expedition in 2012 because they implemented the ecoboost in 2013. Was a shame because I REALLY like the Expedition.
That JJ Da Boss AI voice is the funniest thing I've heard in a LONG time 😂😂😂. You're a true genius if that's your material 😂
i listen the the podcast while on the road. The ai had me rolling😂!!!!
Since when was it legal to race cars on the street? lol
You got to do more A.I. voices had me laughing my ass off.
Having a rough day today, but the show never fails to put a smile on my face!
I love this channel. 11:55-14:00 is so good I had to comeback and watch it. 😂😂😂😂
Colombian, Mexicans, Dominicans !! They're all Puerto Rican to me😂
A predator motor blows up when the tuner does not take the resonator deleter into consideration.
Children's story time by uncle Alex! "Once upon a time not long ago, when people wore pijamas and life was slow. Lol
Also some tell ford to bring a 4dr car with the coyote engine pls and thanks from all the ppl who want one

Brett Lasala… 2900+ hub horsepower with FORD factory production aluminum block, heads and crank. Badass!
Oh god. I gotta hear more about Alex in Texas. I know the Fairmont is from my neck of the woods but that’s it
How soon before he shoves a ecoboost V6 in a mustang to replace the V8?
Thumbs up
Quickjacks are nice.
50:46 so you’re saying the 🍞 man took his dewalt to the predator blocks and jacked up the keyways?
Worse
@@YDBT4LIFE I don’t subscribe on patreon but I almost want to do I can hear this story
You show us the quick jacks in operation 👍

@musclecars92 is that you Jim Farley 😂
Farley looks just like Chris Farley. Reminds me of black sheep.
Jim Farley is the best smart CEO. Glad that he's keeping the v eight and the manual transmission alive
A slow 12 second v8...awesome
Not a hybrid V6 AWD twin turbo setup....noooo...that would be awful.......
