These boots do not keep your feet dry! Do not be fooled by the Drystar name. The hinge point let’s water in very easily. If you plan for any rides that involve water crossings, puddles or any rain that isn’t a light drizzle, find another option. And once they get wet, they will stay that way for a long time unless you have a fan to help dry them out.
is the WP version just with a taller gaiter? where as the boot body itself is both the same? My pant goes over the boot, so taller gaiter is not that important to me if I can save a few bucks.
OK so I bought a pair of the Alpinestars tech seven drystar and I have a 2020 Kawasaki KX 230 R but for some reason with these boots I cannot shift through the gears I’ve tried adjusting the shifter and it still didn’t work. Any thoughts? Thanks.
The boots will eventually break in for a more flexible toe box, however dirt boots are inherently harder to shift with since the focus is on protection instead of flex. If you’re still unable to get the boots to flex you might need a lighter weight and more flexible ADV style boot to allow your foot muscles to be able to lift the toe box.
Bought these today, actually a downgrade from my SIDI's but i wanted a boot with more feedback and i wasn't gona buy Fox lol. Can confirm what you said about the sizing, im 9.5 - 10 but with these boots i fit in a size 9 comfortably.
I’m looking at all boots cuz I’m in the market for a new pair. I’ve had two sets of Tech 7’s. They are stiff for about 10 rides. Then all of a sudden they are like a glove. I ride off-road not moto so I want some feel and flexibility. So after watching multiple reviews I’m gonna order more tech 7’s looking at this enduro version but I’ll prob get regular
@@maxs4986 The reviews are all saying if ur 10.5, get a 10, but my seller is telling me to get a 11.5 too! I'm a beginner, and they said with socks, feet swelling, ur going to want that extra space for trail riding... is that true?
I’m looking at the pair in the middle. Every pic I’ve seen they look more orange than fluro red. I ride ktms so I’d be happy if that were true in real life

Why does some say Alpinestars on very back at top and some don’t?
Agree with the sizing comment! I'm usually 10.5-11 and 10 is perfect. Really happy thanks dudes
Great review. Especially like the sizing info and the double hinge info.

How much weight tech 7 enduro boots per boot ???

Why is it a downgrade mate? I have sidi’s now and i’m the same situation as you were, i’m looking for more feedback
I’m a uk9 in my tech 5’s. Should I stick with a 9 with the tech 7’s?
İs this something that i can wear and walk on everyday all day?
Sure.
Oh yeah. I wear mine to the office some days.
Yes
My tech 7’s are 8 years old and they are so comfortable. I’m gonna buy a new pair soon but they get better with age
why walk when you can ride!
My brand new tech 7 are a sponge and have a horrible smell. My 15 year old ones stayed dryer and did not smell.
How would these work for a guy with bigger calves?
Just fine! The top velcro/buckle has plenty of extra room for wider calves.
? If I where a 10.5 in sneakers what size would I where in tech 7
probably 11 or 11.5 but probably closer to 11.5 because you need room to tuck your pants aswell

That's interesting. I am a 12.5, the 13s are just about too small.
I need a set of Tech 7 Enduro boots with white lowers.

Yes they are. I ride a KTM too. And these boots in Red are close to Orange than Red.
