I honestly don't like the ending of the Switch and 3DS versions of the game. It feels so... Forced. I don’t have an issue with the _Super Mario 3D World_ levels being dropped in favor of the ones from _Super Mario Odyssey_. Even though I never played the original Wii U version, it was rather lazy of Nintendo to just throw in some levels from _3D World_ with very little edits, making them feel out of place gameplay-wise. The _Odyssey_ ones, on the other hand, definitely feel tailor-made for the _Captain Toad_ experience. What I do have an issue with, however, is how the changes to the story affect the timeline. Are we to believe that the Switch/3DS versions are an alternate retelling of the Wii U version that ties into _Odyssey_ instead of _3D World_? Or are they in the same continuity as the Wii U version and somehow have the exact same chain of events as before? All of that having been said, I can very easily picture ExoParadigmGamer doing a _Remake or Rebreak?_ review of _Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker_. Anyone else think so?
Actually I don't like the new ending because they are replacing something in a kinda forced manner, but here is a fun fact: In 2 of the 4 3d World levels, in the actual game you find Captain Toad and you need to help him so he can give you the star, and in the Captain Toad game it explains how he got the stars, and also the end of the level is the same spot where you find him in 3d World! But then there is something similar in Switch/3ds, in Odyssey you can find Captain Toad in all those 4 kindoms, and he has a power moon that he gives to you when you find him, and in this levels of the port is explained how Captain Toad found those power moons! And another fun fact from 3d World: the fact that in every level there are three green stars is a reference to Mario Galaxy.... yeah that game that Captain Toad first appeared and no one remembers it...... yeah..... (This is a very long comment for what it is, isn't it?)
Way to contradict the timeline placement of the original. Odyssey's a great game and I love that there's levels based on it in this version, but couldn't they have not replaced the 3DW levels and just been in addition to them? That way they didn't have to change the ending, you know, _change the established order of events_ just to reflect what's more recent in terms of release? Ah well most people won't care since Mario (sadly) isn't expected to have story. But I'm one of the few who appreciates some consistency and any shred of credibility to a timeline or in-universe order of events that pops up.
3D World was so, so good. The Wii U was the first system I ever bought with my own money in 2013. I wish it was more popular, but I'll always cherish the memories. Hopefully 3DW gets some form of appearance on Switch.
Still, the rehashes make more sense into the prequel canon. Plus it's interesting to play levels not ment for him to see how they will change a bit. Better than just forcing Odyssey into the game with literally no form of a connection.
3DW ending is better. Also it's probably better to say that 3DW & Odyssey aren't split. Odyssey still has Cat Peach & Cat Mario, coin rings & those cloud enemies as well as many sound effects. 3DW takes place after Odyssey. Toad was just still tracking treasure before & after. Plus Toadette stood in the MK at both versions ending which explains why she isn't in 3DW and is found in the MK in Odyssey.
I HEAVILY doubt it. The reason they took it out is the same reason they advertised Tropical Freeze as a new game and Breath of the Wild as a primarily Switch experience: they want to pretend the Wii U never existed.
wariolandgoldpiramid these are not important to the game. These (like the 8-Bit Luigis, Captain Toad and Rosalina) are just Easter Eggs that reward you coins for finding and Touching them.
JH Sounds nah son. They would have indicated a glass pipe in the Mushroom Kingdom or have one of the Sprixie Princesses (most likely the green one) appear in the game. I however think that 3D World wont be in Odyssey in any shape or form (other than the Easter Eggs) bc even if its the same Foundation and designs like 3D World its not really beneficial to have 2 Marios ( a hyped up 3D one and a not so beloved linear 3D one) on the same platform. Like 3D World is a Good Wii U game dont get me wrong but i dont think 3D World is gonna be more present in here.
Haruhi Suzumiya No they aren’t... Especially since Odyssey flat out references 3D World (meaning it happened before Odyssey). What I think is, Captain Toad goes to 3D World at the end of the game, but on the Switch version, we see him riding a minecart with Toadette, which shows us what he’s doing after 3D World takes place. This is when he travels to the Odyssey worlds (and Mario does too). All Mario games take place in the same timeline! All Mario games are also referenced in Odyssey, with the exception of the RPGs.
"That's not what you want to see in a port." You don't want to see some new content that's more creative and improves on the original version of the game? Well, alright then.
If we get 3D World coming to Switch, i won't be surprised if we have Captain Toad data on Switch, we can get the 3D World versions for Captain Toad as well the extended opening cutscene as well.
it wouldn't be surprising if both Captain Toad games happened separately either though. I mean, Wingo had to be fought 3 times in more or less the same plot of the opening cutscene. It ain't all that surprising.
Honestly the new ending feels really slapdash. Makes the game feel like it should have jusf been a sequel. They already made 4 new levels to replace 4 old oned. Just do that 30 more times and this would have been better. Retconing the first ending which made perfect sense and changing it just cuz mario odyssey is the popular game right now made it feel really lazily put together. They should have just made a sequel game game that explained how Captain Toad ended up in each spot that you found him in, in all the Odyssey levels and there would be no issues of confusing cut content or lazy endings. I dont know how i feel abour the changes and it really seems odd that they would do that instead of either a straight port or a whole new game
They should have added the cutscene that starts MARIO odyssey where they’re fighting on bowsers ship and toad somehow finds his way on the ship journeying off with bowser and peach or something like that. To make it more cinematic
Imagine if instead of that ending we got, we get a cutscene with the events leading to Mario battling Browser in his airship in the beginning of Odyssey, and then the "The adventure will continue in Super Mario Odyssey".
While the Mario Odyssey levels are much more suited to Captain Toad than the 3D World levels, I am disappointed that they didn't try as hard to tie Captain Toad and Odyssey together, like they did with 3D World. Also, Mario 3D World is one of my favorite Mario games, so the fact that Nintendo is pretending the game doesn't exist is especially disheartening.
I think the Switch version takes place about 4 to 6 years after the Wii U version. That can explain the retcon as well as show that Wingo is persistent in getting what he wants. He appeared in the Wii U, and then was defeated, but then showed up unscathed in the Switch. Within that gap, Wingo may have recieved medical treatment for his injury or someone healed/cloned him.
Does that mean that Odyssey and 3D World are set in different parallel universes? In one universe Captain Toad landed in the sand kingdom and in the other one he landed in 3D World? Does that mean that in the universe where he landed in the sand kingdom, Mario never met him in 3D World and vice versa?
It's amazing how every CT Switch/3DS vid has many of us commenting about a 3DW port. We must keep it up! After OoT3D we got MM3D! After WWHD we got TPHD! After SuperstarSaga DX we're getting BiS:BJJ! So it would be very unfair if a spin-off of 3DW got a port but not 3DW itself. 3DW is perfect for Switch since it supports multiplayer a lot. But I'll miss the mic effects... :( In the WiiU version you could blow wind and mess with the scenario like Pless holding against the wind and Sprixies spinning or mini-goombas flying. Touch screen too was very convenient to poke & rub characters. Poke kills some enemies and rub holde obstacles & enemies in place. Poke Plessie to annoy him or rub(masssage) him to make him laugh and get 5 coins. You can even draw on the ground. Heck you can even defeat Bowser by poking the soccer bombs back. It's details like that, that made me love 3DW. But half of it will be gone if ported to Switch... why you gotta not give the Switch a real mic Nintendo...
all the original levels take place before 3d world, the 3d world levels take place shortly after the start of it, then the other levels are the same thing but for odyssey
It's not surprising to see that some of the 3D World levels in Captain Toad are ones where you can definitely see him within the levels, they even end in the areas of the level where you find him in 3d World!
Add back the 3D world levels they could have easily tied it together where after you finish the levels it shows the after math of Mario 3D world and how toad got into odyssey
Good thing that I got the Wii U port, I think the developers who were working on the port at Nintendo shouldn't cut those four levels as replacing them and keep the Wii U ending as two alternate endings instead of replacing it. Besides that, Captain Toad did debut in Super Mario 3D Land would make more sense in the story.
*He’s Toad!* *A grunting and weird voice character* *_He’s Amazing!_* *_He’s annoying!_* *_He shouldn’t have a game based entirely off of a minigame in another game!_* ((#ThemeSong))
Kinda glad I picked it up on switch instead of wiiu back then, the odyssey levels are way better for this game than the re used levels from 3D world. Those just feel barren and boring since you're just walking and not solving any puzzles and such like the rest of the game.
Idea for this not being a retcon: Captain Toad for the Wii U plays as normal, the ending is Captain Toad going to the Sprixie Kingdom, and then 3D World happens alongside the Wii U exclusive 3D World levels. After 3D World + the 3D World levels, Captain Toad and Toadette go on another, unseen adventure and end up on a similar minecart track, but this time, as it was a different track, they actually are closer to Sand Kingdom at the end of this unseen adventure - we know Captain Toad has some way to travel as he travels the odyssey kingdoms. The minecart leads to Sand Kingdom, with it being the nearest place with civilization. The unseen adventure would happen before, and during the start of Odyssey, so it happens as Mario first visits the Sand Kingdom. After this, the Switch/3DS exclusive odyssey levels, as well as Captain Toad showing up in Odyssey all take place alongside Mario's adventure. All of this means that all 3 games fit together, though it would mean there are weird time jumps, as the regular Switch/3DS levels which aren't exclusive would still be before 3D World, despite the fact that the end makes it look like it is not.
They should've made a cutscene where captian toad falls inside the quicksand and the the sand hardens. And now he's stuck and it's Mario who saves him, the only problem is that Mario can go back to the cascade kingdom and toad would be there.....
unpopulair (and slightly controversial) opinion: Mario 3D world > Mario odyssey. Music, characters, different kinds of stages, game length and my most important point, DIFFICULTY. There, I said it. Still love odyssey though.
Adriall Diabora I understand the difficulty, game lenght & music, but in terms characters & aesthetics, Really? Becuase I find Odyssey to have MUCH more unique characters & aesthetics than 3D World does. To me all 3D World has are the Sprixies which doesn't say a single dialogue & has no personalities aside from just smiling & waving & aesthetics that looked like they belong in a NSMB game, with a few exceptions like the japanese level, safari level & the carnival levels.
Meta Shade I mean characters as in playable characters. Luigi, Toad, Peach and my personal favorite Rosalina. I agree with you that odyssey has way better characters as in NPC's. Sorry about that misunderstanding. I still stand by my point about the aesthetics though. Every level in 3D world feels different and new. In odyssey they also feel new and refreshing, but in odyssey you have only 12 true different kingdoms (I'm not sure about the exact number). For obvious reasons ofcourse, it's not realistic to make 100 different kinds of kingdoms. This is just my opinion ofcourse, I know a lot of people hate 3D world with a passion. But I personally loved 3D world and was kinda dissapointed by odyssey. I just can't figure out why though... it seems like the perfect game for me. I just couldn't enjoy it as much as 3D world and galaxy 1+2.
OK, I just wanna share this with people and I might do some more in depth stuff on this on my own. HEAR ME OUT Mario Party The Top 100, but with Mario Kart, returning courses, battle maps, characters, karts, and items that we all vote for on some poll
does the 3ds ending show the new ending? I thought the 3ds version would supposedly take place before 3d land... but captain toad wasn't in 3d land... :/
If they only cut levels that were copied and pasted straight from 3D World, then there's really not that much to miss out on in the Switch version, no? Edit: I guess people really enjoyed waddling through levels that were made for a completely different game, huh?
CGK the difference is that this cut content didnt really add anything to the game. They arent built for this gameplay style so it just ends up being clunky and slow to play through. They are literally just copied from 3D World, so just play 3D World because at least having platforming levels make sense in that game
Wait which ending is canon or is this some sort of multiple universe stuff that can make the mario time line confusing like Zelda’s 🤨someone please explain... ( I’m guessing there are now 2 timeline splits where bower doesn’t bother with peach that day and tries to get the sprixies for power and then in another he bothers peach and then a marriage is arranged) IDK 😐.....
I'm getting nostalgic 3D world flashbacks. Quick 4 year old question, how many of you guys ran on top of the pipe (from the final 3D World Captain Toad level but in the actual 3D world game) that transitioned to the vertical part of the level instead of actually going into it?
Aydin Dyer Odyssey flat out references 3D World (meaning it happened before Odyssey). What I think is, Captain Toad goes to 3D World at the end of the game, but on the Switch version credits, we see him riding a minecart with Toadette, which shows us what he’s doing after 3D World takes place. This is when he travels to the Odyssey worlds (and Mario does too). All Mario games take place in the same timeline! All Mario games are also referenced in Odyssey, with the exception of the RPGs.
Maybe the switch and 3ds versions take place in a separate universe than the Wii u version. Basically, the switch and 3ds versions are Nintendo's way of saying, "Meanwhile, in a parallel universe where captain toad followed the Mario's ship, the odyssey, instead of following the green star into the sprixie kingdom from super Mario 3d world". Actually that parallel universe idea would explain a few things.
Nintendo: "Let's try to find more forced ways to shove Super Mario Oddessy down our fans throats! Let's cut out content from the main game just premote Oddessy. God Nintendo really, first it was Breath of the Wild, then Donkey Kong Country Tropicial Freeze, and now Oddessy. You have other games to ya know?
ChiefMedicPururu Back when Breath of the Wild was new and relevant, it was the only thing Nintendo advertised and when they talked about Zelda, they were always refereeing to BotW for the longest time. It's like Nintendo forgot they made other Zelda games. And they praises it like it's the best thing they ever made. It's not THAT good.
Considering all the exclusiveness, the 3DS version could have a set of different levels based on ANOTHER Mario 3D game he appeared on: Super Mario Galaxy... they should’ve done that in order to see how he got into each galaxy he’s in (at least 4 lol)
It would have been cool if the 3DS version would have gotten a set of 4 Mario 3D Land levels making all of the versions exclusive in some form. Seeing as all the other consoles got levels based on their 3D Mario game it only fitting in my opinion. Just an idea though.

Executer 66 I completely agree honestly. It’s a missed opportunity honestly

Yoshi Miner Nice copy paste comment
Daniel M. L. Yep, had to do it on several comments since I don’t feel like putting a new comment up (although I did for one...).
PERFECT CHAOS kinda, maybe not as complex as th Zelda one, is not official, but it exists
Why can't we just have a normal timeline for once? Kirby has one, why can't everyone else have one?
I feel like Toadette should’ve went with Toad because she is in Odyssey
while Toad chased the Odyssey, Toadette came back to the Mushroom Kingdom
That would've required at least 30 seconds of brand new animation.
CaptN Bill yeah I agree. After beating the odyssey levels I would love to see a little cutscene of Toadette coming back to the Mushroom kingdom.
She didn't appear in any of the other kingdoms though, she went back to the Mushroom Kingdom.
Haydo Mo106
They were already both in the mushroom kingdom, she probably just walked to Peaches castle.
I like the editing that you did at the very begining that led into Captain Toad from the GameXplain logo

Was Gamexplain a prequel to Treasure Tracker?
Wow for once game explain put a little effort into something!
He just deadass left Toadette there

Mauricio2417 Galaxy is far from forgotten. In fact, it's still overpraised to this day.
Doesn't look like much of a big loss. I'll take newly designed levels based on areas from Odyssey over rehashed levels from 3d World anyday.
Markell Hawthorne Why not both
Same here
Good taste
Still, the rehashes make more sense into the prequel canon. Plus it's interesting to play levels not ment for him to see how they will change a bit. Better than just forcing Odyssey into the game with literally no form of a connection.
Leavee I disagree. Those 3D World levels were nothing but strolling to the end. Besides, when has the Mario canon ever mattered?
3DW ending is better.
Also it's probably better to say that 3DW & Odyssey aren't split. Odyssey still has Cat Peach & Cat Mario, coin rings & those cloud enemies as well as many sound effects. 3DW takes place after Odyssey. Toad was just still tracking treasure before & after. Plus Toadette stood in the MK at both versions ending which explains why she isn't in 3DW and is found in the MK in Odyssey.
Also there's an 8-bit Captain Toad in Odyssey now.
PeanutButterJellyFan12 yeah, I know. It's there to promote the port and CToad is already in the game.
3D World is getting swept under the rug...just like the Wii U.
Chase 64 Cubed this port proves that Captain Toad is a marketing tool for whatever the most current 3D Mario game happens to be
Chase 64 Cubed confirmed not getting ported to switch
Chase 64 Cubed A Wii U? What's that?
Thomas Zhao Hahaha OMG the most original coment i've ever seen, what a comedian you are -_-
Makes sense. Wii U was a flop and one of if not THE worst time to be an Nintendo fan
What if the reason they removed the 3D World levels in Captain Toad was because they’re planning Sprixie Kingdom dlc in Odyssey? 🤔
JH Sounds holy shoot you're right
I HEAVILY doubt it.
Joeyster5000 exactly
Captian Toad is the Ocarina of Time of the Mario Timeline, this is where the timeline splits!
Yikes! That's not what you want to see in a port.
Nah, they made the game 1000x better this way
TripleJump this port is a alternate version of events and shows that Mario Odyssey and 3d world are happening at the same time in two timelines.
"That's not what you want to see in a port."
You don't want to see some new content that's more creative and improves on the original version of the game? Well, alright then.
Christopher Moon I think it was more that he didn’t want to see completely removed content on a port of a game.
If we get 3D World coming to Switch, i won't be surprised if we have Captain Toad data on Switch, we can get the 3D World versions for Captain Toad as well the extended opening cutscene as well.
you mean if we have 3d world data?
Yes exactly
it wouldn't be surprising if both Captain Toad games happened separately either though.
Lol great ending, "buy the game we made before this one"
They should have added the cutscene that starts MARIO odyssey where they’re fighting on bowsers ship and toad somehow finds his way on the ship journeying off with bowser and peach or something like that. To make it more cinematic
Ides! What if you 100% completed the story, and it played the super Mario 3d world ending when the deluxe port releases!
I meant idea
eh...how about we say the ending from the switch version takes place AFTER 3d world and they didn't retcon anything?
It feels like they don't want 3D world to be canon anymore
Imagine if instead of that ending we got, we get a cutscene with the events leading to Mario battling Browser in his airship in the beginning of Odyssey, and then the "The adventure will continue in Super Mario Odyssey".
I like how they're still a reason to own both the Wii U and switch version. Sure, it might be a small reason, but it's still a reason.
I don't get why people want Captain Toad in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. He doesn't seem like an exciting character.
Capt. Toad didn't seem exciting to me either, but there's a fan made moveset that BLEW ME AWAY. You REALLY should watch it.
But I mean, none of them are stubby little people that can't jump or move fast.
Someone made a Captain Toad moveset
Check it out, you'll probably die by the possibilities.
It would be cool, but he can’t jump so something would have to change
While the Mario Odyssey levels are much more suited to Captain Toad than the 3D World levels, I am disappointed that they didn't try as hard to tie Captain Toad and Odyssey together, like they did with 3D World.
Also, Mario 3D World is one of my favorite Mario games, so the fact that Nintendo is pretending the game doesn't exist is especially disheartening.
Perhaps there's an off-screen ending where Captain Toad discovers Wario flying his plane toward the woods....
Only 4 levels ?
4 Odyssey levels replaced the 4 3D world levels. Everything else is the same.
Odyssey references 3d world many times so they must exist in the same timeline. Only the sequence is screwed across timelines
I wouldn't be surprised if the levels are still in the files and thy're just waiting to re-release them when they port sm3dw to switch
I NEED THE GAME THAT CAME WITH MY WII U!
Guess what? They actually are complete with the unlock jingle as well. So it's possible.
3D World 3DS port when?
There's something priceless about how Toadette says, "Oh, no!"
Next they're gonna make a Captain Toad game that's a prequel to the Galaxy games.
3d world for switch confirmed
1:04
Starshroom Starship
I thought that this was a neat reference to the Galaxy games, and should definitely be pointed out.
The ending works a lot better with 3D World.
*Gets Stuck in clear pipe
*AH I TRIED TO SNEAK THROUGH THE PIPE MAN...*
*PIPE STUCK! PIPE STUCK!*
*PLEASE!*
*I BEG YOU!*
I have a question to you guys, in the Switch and 3ds version appears 8bit Luigi like the Wii U version?
4:50 Captain Toad can grab onto ledges?! Why hasn't he attempted that before?!
Imagine if Wingo came back and healed up quickly and took Toadette again after CT ditched her?
all the original levels take place before 3d world, the 3d world levels take place shortly after the start of it, then the other levels are the same thing but for odyssey
3D World still looks gorgeous.
It's not surprising to see that some of the 3D World levels in Captain Toad are ones where you can definitely see him within the levels, they even end in the areas of the level where you find him in 3d World!
I understand this from a business standpoint but it’s saddening Nintendo is trying to bury the Wii U
I think they teased the deluxe version with captain toad being in mario odyssey
I cried at both endings
Add back the 3D world levels they could have easily tied it together where after you finish the levels it shows the after math of Mario 3D world and how toad got into odyssey
Bob they happen in different time lines Odyssey and 3d world are different events occurring at the same time.
So does that mean odyssey and 3D world take place in two separate timelines? That opens a whole can a worms.
I hope 3D World gets a Switch port. They can add the missing levels in a future update.
*He’s Toad!*
*A grunting and weird voice character*
*_He’s Amazing!_*
*_He’s annoying!_*
*_He shouldn’t have a game based entirely off of a minigame in another game!_*
((#ThemeSong))
Kinda glad I picked it up on switch instead of wiiu back then, the odyssey levels are way better for this game than the re used levels from 3D world. Those just feel barren and boring since you're just walking and not solving any puzzles and such like the rest of the game.
Idea for this not being a retcon:
Captain Toad for the Wii U plays as normal, the ending is Captain Toad going to the Sprixie Kingdom, and then 3D World happens alongside the Wii U exclusive 3D World levels.
Adriall Diabora Yeah that's fine I understand. Different strokes for different folks.
When captain toad was in super mario 3d world levels, was that on wii u or the switch
OK, I just wanna share this with people and I might do some more in depth stuff on this on my own.
HEAR ME OUT
Mario Party The Top 100, but with Mario Kart, returning courses, battle maps, characters, karts, and items that we all vote for on some poll
does the 3ds ending show the new ending? I thought the 3ds version would supposedly take place before 3d land... but captain toad wasn't in 3d land... :/
4:51 **gasp** CAPTAIN TOAD JUST JUMPED!!!
So which ending is canon in the Mario timeline Wii U ending or Switch ending?
Ya know I never close videos that contains spoilers if I don't have the game cuz it helps me know better
I Like How Captain Toad Sees The Odyssey And He's Like NOT AGAIN
If they only cut levels that were copied and pasted straight from 3D World, then there's really not that much to miss out on in the Switch version, no?
Edit: I guess people really enjoyed waddling through levels that were made for a completely different game, huh?
It's not but people love to bitch and get their panties in a twist
Cut content is cut content. Don’t really see why people see the need to defend this but people ALWAYS get super defensive about Nintendo.
SeanTheCajun I don’t get it just play 3D world and have fun instead of waddling slowly though a level you’ve seen before
CGK Nintendo doesn’t want to promote a system that isn’t getting games
CGK the difference is that this cut content didnt really add anything to the game. They arent built for this gameplay style so it just ends up being clunky and slow to play through. They are literally just copied from 3D World, so just play 3D World because at least having platforming levels make sense in that game
Wait which ending is canon or is this some sort of multiple universe stuff that can make the mario time line confusing like Zelda’s 🤨someone please explain...
( I’m guessing there are now 2 timeline splits where bower doesn’t bother with peach that day and tries to get the sprixies for power and then in another he bothers peach and then a marriage is arranged)
IDK 😐.....
at 1:03 i saw captain toads ship from super mario galaxy
The music in these 3D Mario games are just awesome.
So you're saying that super Mario 3d world happened after treasure tracker but treasure tracker was released after 3d world.
So which is the next in the timeline?
The 3D World one worked a lot better
They both worked equally well, Captain Toad shows up along Mario's journey as well
ヌイババNuibaba The odyssey version felt strange. The adventure does not "Continue" you don't play as Captain Toad
Sebas H Well just because it continues doesn’t mean you have to be a part of it.
I'm getting nostalgic 3D world flashbacks. Quick 4 year old question, how many of you guys ran on top of the pipe (from the final 3D World Captain Toad level but in the actual 3D world game) that transitioned to the vertical part of the level instead of actually going into it?
So is 3d world not canon?
Aydin Dyer Odyssey flat out references 3D World (meaning it happened before Odyssey). What I think is, Captain Toad goes to 3D World at the end of the game, but on the Switch version credits, we see him riding a minecart with Toadette, which shows us what he’s doing after 3D World takes place. This is when he travels to the Odyssey worlds (and Mario does too). All Mario games take place in the same timeline! All Mario games are also referenced in Odyssey, with the exception of the RPGs.
Yoshi Miner cool i really wasn't putting much thought into it what's the reference
What even is Mario canon, I mean really
3d world is canon on the wii u
This is where the timeline begins to fucks up
Maybe the switch and 3ds versions take place in a separate universe than the Wii u version.
A rare moment where Nintendo isn't saying fuck you to Wii U owners.
ChiefMedicPururu but they didn't push it as bad as Oddyessy and DKC:TR.
So I take it this means no SM3D World deluxe for Switch?
4:50 HOLY CRAP DID CAPTAIN TOAD JUST JUMP?!
So which ending is cannon?
If Mario is flying the Odyssey at night through the Sand Kingdom did he canon ditch the Sand Kingdom before battling the boss in the Ice cave?
So is Nintendo trying to makes us forget about Super Mario 3D World or something g?
I
I don't care what anyone says, the Wii U version will always be the true ending!
Considering all the exclusiveness, the 3DS version could have a set of different levels based on ANOTHER Mario 3D game he appeared on: Super Mario Galaxy... they should’ve done that in order to see how he got into each galaxy he’s in (at least 4 lol)
