The oil height of a fork effectively controls a progressive air spring inside the fork. The less air inside the fork (ie. more oil), the quicker the air spring will ramp up it's effectiveness and the more powerful it will be at the last part of the travel.
its always better to set the oil level by oil height instead of oil quantity, unless and otherwise you completely strip down the entire fork, which is only donw at some fork speciality shops, not everyone does that, there must be some residual oil left inside the fork tubes. Hence a difference in oil height can be seen in two forks, but measuring the fork oil height can solve that issue. you can fill the oil with this method with pin point accuracy. that's the beauty of this method.

Every motorcycle has different specifications of fork oil height. Its not same for all. A hands on the service manual will help in this regard. If you want to stiffen the suspension and reduce the sag try using viscous oil, such as 15w or even 20w. Don't overfill with oil, as it may cause oil seal leakage.

What I do for szr, is I fill 180-200ml in each fork, then use the scale method to even out oil in both forks. I dont have szr's service manual.If you can get the pdf,do share it with me.

wrong oil grade 10w is correct for fzs
20w gives better stability with pillion in good tarmac. 10w is for a balanced grade though.

Company fitter bearings are sealed they dont need to be greased, once they are bad you have to replace with sealed bearings. Grease parts like side stand gear and brake lever etc..
