  • ‪@BMDPortraits‬ shares another real-time colored pencil realistic portrait drawing tutorial featuring the basic burnishing technique. This burnishing technique is very much applicable with wax based colored pencils such as Prismacolor Premier, especially if your reference photo is light and fair skin toned like this photo of BlackPink Jennie Kim. Smooth Korean, Asian white skin tones can still be tricky but using the right paper like this one, Strathmore Bristol 300 Smooth is just enough for this kind of portraits. Let me share with you on this drawing tutorial how easy and fun it is to layer and blend Prismacolor Colored pencil in a slow paced video so you can see the actual layering and blending using the burnishing technique. On this Colored pencil drawing tutorial I tried my best to communicate in English, to reach more artists, beginners and students and all who wants to improve in colored pencil portraiture all over the world. #drawing #howtodraw #coloredpencil #prismacolor #blackpink #blackpinkjennie #jennie #jenniekim
