Actually this is just a misunderstanding. Because she was referred to in the Quran as a woman and not a girl, her age was measured differently back then. You were a girl until you had your first period, and then they effectively reset your age back to zero and start counting your age as how long it’s been since your first period. So it had been 6 to 9 years since her first period, making her most likely in her young 20s.
