    Thanks I really enjoy your videos, please keep making ZV-E1 content

    Hello, you had mentioned in one of your videos that cinematic Vlog frame rate can be changed from 24fps on Sony ZV-E1, can you explain how to do this? I am not able to change the frame rate from 24. Thanks

      Go to S&Q mode instead of normal video mode, and you can shoot slow motion with cinevlog.

    Great video 👍🏻 do you always use an nd filter on your ZVE1? Or a polarizer filter? Best cinematic greetings from germany

      Thank you very much and greetings from Taiwan! I've never used a polarizer filter on zve1 and I only use an nd filter when it's too bright and I need shallow depth of field.

      @@ConstantineSPhotography thanks from 🇩🇪 I normally Film with the FX6 but now I have the small ZVE1 since two weeks and I really love it 😍

      Congrats on the new camera! I would like to know how FX6 users think about ZVE1!

      @@ConstantineSPhotography I come from camcorders and for me the FX6 is a little bit similar 👍🏻😉 but for holidays or private videos it is a little bit too big for me 😂 so I love the small size and the awesome picture quality of the ZVE1 😍 I think many filmmakers are afraid about the size but „size don’t matters“ 😉 it’s all about the quality 💪🏼

    Informative video. Just a question about LUT. Is there any between baking in a LUT and adding it later. I try few times and it seems baking in the LUT will give slightly different color profile than doing it post shooting. I did not do proper experiment to test it out.

    Thanks for the helpful tips! I've been using the ZV-E1 for a while now and I love it expecially like its low-light performance. However, I've noticed that after stabilizing the footage with Catalyst Browse (with, for instance, a 10% crop), the sharpness doesn't seem as satisfying. Could this because of the sensor's limited 12-megapixel resolution?

    • @ConstantineSPhotography
      @ConstantineSPhotography  Год назад +1

      I think the problem is that Catalyst browse will turn the 10-bit 4:2:2 video into 4:2:0, so even though stabilization is imporved, you won't have the same good dynamic range for color grading.

    Thanks for this video. Now I understand one thing. This camera have too much compromises...In the end I think the A7iv is still the best choice..except for that damn crop

    • @ConstantineSPhotography
      @ConstantineSPhotography  Год назад

      A74 is more of a all around camera, but if you only look at video performance, E1 is more powerful.

    • @lb_projekt
      @lb_projekt Год назад +1

      @@ConstantineSPhotography ok is more powerful but it probably overheat...if you use in apsc mode you only have hd instead of 4k...you can use dynamic stabilization but you have to consider everytime the crop and the fact that the resolution decrease...it doesn't have mechanical shut and you have to remember it in certain circumstances....I mean...camon...at a certain point it seems to me more that a "justify" this camera......in this days I've lookin a lot the other brands and for example the Panasonic S5 ii offers a "gimbal-like" stabilization that is impressive without crop. You can shoot 96mp handheld until 1 second and is impressive too. Shoot in open gate. A Vlog that is so much easier to grade..180 rule in camera for video...I mean.. there's a lot of feature Sony users can only dream. Fuji with the X-h2 and X-h2s can record to 8k with no crop..6k open gate...the full hd is at 200 mbit! And other things... I am a Sony used by years...but if I take look outside of Sony world I can see how much compromises put in their cameras...

      Thanks for sharing, here are my thoughts: 1. ZVE1 can shoot 4k in apsc (even though it's crop sensor, the low light video performance is still better than a74 + full frame lens ) 2 I agree Panasonic S5 ii is an amazing camera, but Panasonic don't have many affordable lens choices 3 Fuji is also apsc, and I believe the ZVE1 is still more powerful in low light (s-log3 ISO12800 footages look amazing)

    • @lb_projekt
      @lb_projekt Год назад +1

      @@ConstantineSPhotography me too always said "Fuji is only apsc" but when I start interesting more I can really say that thanks to the sensor the image are way better than a full frame camera. More crisp and detailed. But ok.. It's my personal opinion...I don't want to convinced nobody...🙌🏻.. Anyway about Sony Zve1 you're the first person that I hear says can record in 4k even in apsc. I've tried myself the camera and switches automatically in hd when crop in apsc. So...maybe my fault I don't look well in the settings but since the a7s came out no one could shot in 4k in apsc 😕 I want to make you a question.. If I have to make a photo is an anti flicker mode or is only for video?

    • @ConstantineSPhotography
      @ConstantineSPhotography  Год назад

      I don't know much about fuji, "Fuji is only apsc" is the first idea that came into my mind, but I believe you have more experience than I do. "ZVE1 switches automatically in hd when crop in apsc" seems weird to me, have you tried setting the format to 4k and using dyanmic active steadyshot to crop out the vignetting?
      And yes anti flicker mode is for both photo and video.
