Great video, nice photos! Have you tried the Sony zv-e1 with a flash? 📸
@@G-AUSTIN thanks 😊 and no, I try to keep it as simple as possible, and with zve1’s great low light capabilities, I don’t think you need a flash
Hi, I don't see pp11 on my Sony a7c2. Any idea ?😕
Great shots. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on composition.

one of the best reviews on internet: no bs, no jokes, no annoying bubbling, no borring and narcistic exposure of blogger face talking 90% of time, while showing crappie demo clips for 2 or 3 seconds. Instead, informative review: accompanied by very creative visual photo and video samples. Thank you!
@@remembercarmanahvalley-ej5rv I’m glad to hear your feedback, really appreciate it. I hate blahblahs, so I try to avoid that in my videos 😊
I just got A7C II, searching for compact lens, is this lens still sharp with f2?
Sharp enough for most cases! Y can take a look at my review video: ruclips.net/video/NTVT-d8Zdns/видео.htmlsi=fQZRhUM5LyrGdQf9
What is the highest cine 2 or cine 4 native iso we can go without noise in a7siii
How about cine 2 and cine 4 for a7siii
I have this lens with this camera and it has suprised me how good the image quality is for the price. I hope it gets an update to improve the autofocus
I personally think the ttartisan 27mm af lens has better contrast, but this one has better build.
I know that clear image zoom cannot be activated during dynamic mode, can you use dynamic stabilitation with Digital zoom on the camera?
Thnx, I got ZVE1 after watching this. Amazing camera.
Wow congrats on your new camera! Merry Christmas!
when using creative style, do you shoot in raw or jpeg?
The look and color of creative style will only reflect on the JPG files, the raw files remain in standard color. I prefer shooting in both files, and later, when I check the pictures, if I'm satisfied with the creative style, I would delete the raw files; otherwise, I would edit the raw files and delete the JPG files.
Thanks for the video! So, for the video work, which one is better in your opinion?
@@loihpatli For video quality, I don’t have a preference, but the size of 75mm is easier to handle.
When you put this lens on the zv-e1 at f4 does the aperture equivalent stay the same on a full frame camera? Ie does the sensor receive the same amount of light (in ZV-E1 dynamic stabilization) in comparison to this lens being mounted on an APS-C camera? Would you get better low light at f4 if this lens was on the ZV-E1 (in dynamic stabilization) vs this lens on the ZV-E10 (APS-C camera)? Or would it be the same?
The bubbles look really good in night street photography. Nice review! ♥
@@richritter thank you 😊 it’s a fun lens to play with!
The Jintu AF 27mm f/2.8 appears to be essentially the same lens: same 6/5 lens diagram, same 52mm filter, same 0.3m close focus, same 170g weight. Both brands use nano coatings. The Jintu is available in two mounts: Sony E mount and Fujifilm X mount. On the Jintu, two of the six lens elements are extra-low dispersion, a feature I couldn't find in the 7Artisans description on Amazon. I assume that 7Artisans' AF 27/2.8 for Nikon APS-C is likewise the same lens though it looks sleeker and takes a 39mm filter. I've just ordered the Jintu for X mount from Amazon. It will tale about 10 days to arrive.
i love ur pov video <3
@@Heropitsum thank you 😊 really appreciate your support!
Thank you for the thorough testing, Constantine. It's much appreciated 🙏
@@dem0yt969 I’m glad you find it helpful!
2:12 this would have been better if you showed PRACTICAL tilt/shift functionality in combination with macro for INCREASING apparent DOF on target plane of focus which is what this lens is for...decreasing the DOF with shifting has little practical use in macro (since macro distances is already thin to begin with) and you use decrease DOF with shifting at non-macro distances most of the time...which can be achieved with other T/S lenses like the older but otherwise excellent Canon T/S E L lenses which can be bought at cheaper prices used (albeit with only 1:2 macro magnification)
I bought the TTartisan 75mm f2 for Z mount and it’s great for what I use it, stills photography. The fact that it’s got a clicked aperture ring is a huge bonus for me. Hoping that TTartisan brings out a 35mm with the same design. Only thing I wish for is that they introduce a little weather sealing. I would gladly pay a bit more for that especially if it’s a 35mm which is a more all rounder lens and would be much more used by many. Fingers crossed.
This is just TTartisan's first full frame af lens, I believe there're more af lenses of different focal lengths to come!
@ I surely hope so
Nice 👍 exactly what I want to know
Very glad to hear your feedback!
Amazing. Thank you so much for this video. You were so clear and detailed.🙂🙏❤
I'm really glad to hear that, and thanks for your feedback!
I’ve heard that this 7 Artisans lens is a little sharper all around in comparison to the TT Artisans equivalent. I’ve been trying to decide between the two for a while now. I have a couple TT lenses that i really enjoy. Great video!
@@Loki_Highlock I don’t find noticeable difference , probably have to compare side by side to know that. But personally I think the 7artisans lens is ergonomically difficult to use.
How does it work with an APSC camera?
@@paradoxzee6834 You’ll get a much more narrow view, and you’d better use a camera with in body stabilization, because the lens is a manual one, really difficult to use without camera stabilization.
how do you edit you photos and videos made here? love the dreamy look!
Thank you. I have a photo editing tutorial, feel free to take a look: ruclips.net/video/pMm1COqPCnM/видео.html
Thanks
Very welcome!
Hi, i just got this lens. When i tried it using my ZVe10 and set the aperture to F1.8, i noticed that the aperture ring didn't fully open. Is this normal?
I wish my a7c had 10bit :(
Time to upgrade😆😆
My compact lenses for the A7c are the 40mm 2.5 from Viltrox, 35mm 1.8 Samyang and finally the slow but very compact 28-60 kit lens from Sony! Great video; thankyou!
Thanks for sharing, I wonder how the 35 and 40mm difference make you feel?
@@ConstantineSPhotography I did have the 40mm first and have always like that focal length. Yes, 35mm is very similar and I am probably doubling up but the 35mm at 1.8 will be much better for indoors and function events etc. I still love the 40mm out and about on the street though.
Glad to hear your insight, help me out here: I have a sony 50 mm F1.8, and a Sony 35 mm F1.8, does it make sense to sell them both, and get a Sony 40 mm f2.5?
Can you do slow motion videos with the a7cii for futures videos please? what edit video software do you use?
I'll put that in my future video list! I use Davinci resolve to edit my videos.
Do you know how can we do this using our smartphone camera or edit our normal video to tilt shift effect video?
Instagram allows you to add a "tilt" effect, but it's just making a part of the image blurry, not really tilting.
It’s just because pixels are smaller than the Zv-e1
CAN YOU MAKE A VIDEO ON SHARP VIDEO SHOOTING WITH 1080P ZVE10?
Samyang: horrendous busy bokeh Viltrox: horrid flaring and bloom If you complain to Viltrox that their quality is not reaching exceptional levels, they will listen to you and put out a new version of the lens. That is the mindset of Viltrox. They recently removed their 35/1.8 and 50/1.8 from the market because they weren't good enough for the Viltrox name. The 35 was fringy and not sharp enough and the 50 had bad onion-ringing. The 20/2.8 is a good lens if you can deal with the vintage blooming effect. It is much more cinematic looking than the Samyang but the flaring is a problem that will realistically mess up your shots unless you are trying to control it. I hope a mark II can improve with element coatings.
The flaring problem from the Viltrox lens does bother me sometimes, but I thought it's just my specific lens' problem, instead of a general problem of this lens.
Im very new to photography I need a little guidance I have: Sony A7R3 Sony A6000 Lens 55-210 4.5-6.3 Sony Lens 16-50 3.5-5.6 Sony Lens 10mm the lens in the video I got a steal on both cameras one came with the Sony lens kit I got the 10mm bc I felt like I wasn’t getting enough landscape. I’m currently in Japan for the next 4yrs and want to capture its beauty but I can’t get the 10mm to work correctly for me I have adjusted the setting a few times but can seem to get it “perfect”(good enough for myself). I’m shooting mainly mountain scapes and islands from afar do you know what would be the ideal adjustments for the 10mm. I feel like eventually I’ll get it but any suggestions and guidance are welcome! hopefully this isn’t to bothersome.
Hi, can you be more specific what you mean by "can’t get the 10mm to work correctly"? Do you mean it's not wide enough for you? Or is there other issues?
Just absolutely AWESOME TIPS. Thanks so much! Came home after a day of shooting Table Tennis and the footage is basically useless because my focus keeps going in and out in and out. Thanks so much for this!
I'm really glad you find it helpful!
Great video, Constantine S Photography. Looking forward to your next upload! I smashed that thumbs up button on your content. Keep up the awesome work! Your comparison of the background separation between the two lenses was really enlightening. Have you considered how the weight difference might affect handheld shooting in different scenarios?
@@KeyserTheRedBeard Thanks so much for supporting! I don’t think the weight has much influence on stabilization when shooting handheld, at least not for still shots or panning shots.
Loved your clicks, i am a learner. Wanted to ask, which camera bag do you use for this lens which I know is slightly heavier but carrying it while shooting and travelling is something I am also interested in :D I have a sony 7m2 with a kit lens that can give me all the basic shots that i need, and planning to get this Tamron 28-200 now.
Thanks! Actually I'm using just a portable camera bag (looks like this: photo-shop-studio.com.au/bags-cases/fotolux-x90-inner-partition-padded-camera-bag-black-35x26x17cm/) to put into my backpack, nothing special and certainly not a big brand. It can hold my a7cii + Tamron 28-200 plus another small prime lens.
@@ConstantineSPhotography thank you for sharing! 🙂
i also bought 75 mm, after one year with 85mm, just because portability. extremely happy with it
I think these new lightweight 75mm can definitely win more people's heart than the heavier 85mm lenses!
how bout 7artisan 35mm f1.4? did it has the vintage tone?
@@car_enthusiasm6411 I actually didn’t have a chance to try that one 😅
wooow!
Thanks for watching!
Great! this lens good also for APSC cameras? :)
on an apsc camera it'll be in crop mode, equivalent to 112.5mm, so the perspective is much narrower.
Thank you for this video! Both lenses look pretty good to me -- especially for the price. Personally, I like a longer focus throw if focusing manually. Anyway, did you happen to test how they react to flare situations?
@@charlieseligman3176 thanks for your feedback, I don’t have a side by side flare comparison, but your can find their individual flare test in their separate review videos in the description box!
7A 85 give more bokeh and compression but it looks like most lenses , TTA 75 bokeh is more pleasing and old school (swirly) ,
@@JTC1979 I didn’t notice that, but now you say it, TT 75 bokeh does look more swirly.
@@ConstantineSPhotography thanks to bokeh therapy which also made a similar comparaison. , I think I prefer the render of the TTA 75 for portraits
any manual lens that can beat this now in terms of price and lens sharpness and the bokeh? since already passed 1 year...if not I going to buy this lens haha
@@car_enthusiasm6411 I like this one too: ruclips.net/video/7zAjRBPXCY8/видео.htmlsi=pIzfS0G3Tas-kQby But it’s probably more difficult to find the lens since it’s a vintage one.
As a portrait photographer I always gravitate to a 75mm over an 85mm I don’t know why it’s just the feel it gives plus clients don’t notice the or care about the bokeh as long as they look good. TT artisan all the way gives a much more pleasing look over the more sharp 85mm 7artisan.
@@Photographysoup I’m actually surprised to hear that 😆
This is also what I have thought deeply about i choose 75mm finally becasue of cheaperbut more than i expected (also because the AF/MF switch of 七工匠50mm had bad experience)
