A good tip for every Sony cameras is that the grey plastic cup that covers the sensor when you buy the camera (until you put a lens) is made with exactly the grey tone needed to do the white balance. So you can use it for the custom white balance instead of the expensive cards and it will be perfect.
I didn't know about the bright monitoring - great tip. FYI - the mechanical shutter is not fully mechanical. It's still EFCS with the 2nd curtain mechanical. Touch focus is great tip too!
Great tips! I use a Sony A7C II and I love the camera but I really hate its rolling shutter especially now that I started creating youtube videos. I will try the crop mode to see if that helps. Thanks for sharing!
@@dumspyrospero thanks for supporting 😊 The rolling shutter will improve a lot especially if you use a longer lens. Let me know your thoughts after you tried!
Yes I do think it's a bit heavy for a compact camera like a7cii. But considered the useful focal range and large aperture, it's not particularly heavy.

@@stkuj thanks for the feedback 😊Do you find any actual differences between the shutter on a7cii and a real mechanical shutter?

Currently no other alternative with this amount of oversampling and Megapixels
How does the sigma 28-70 2.8 feel with a7cii? Does it feel front heavy?
