Your comment about how you couldn't mod it to take mags reminded me of an idea that I had for that blaster. Why not add a side feeding internal mag onto it? That would be awesome, and kind of like the old WW1 rifles!
It'd be interesting to see this VS a stock original N-strike blaster with crappy ranges but vastly better fire rate to compensate (i.e. Recon, Longstrike, Raider, Stampede). I've always wanted to have a nerf battle between blasters with extreme handicaps.
to make a magazine: cut out a bit of the back to fit the full length of a dart, and stick a 1*12 lego piece to the side of the breach at centerline. To load, chamber one dart, place the next dart on the stick so that it tilts onto the bolt. Now if you shoot and cycle the bolt, the next round will feed by gravity
Just had my two younger brothers open theirs today and they love'em, I have the classic stock one for myself that fits larger hands, I give them both thumbs up.
I like really fun blasters like this so I'll probably get one.With all the really good off brand stuff coming out, Nerf is really going to have to step up their game.

what about modifying the opening in the bolt action to fit nerf clips? it would limit the ammunition type but it would make it a bit better for longer battles.
After 4 years: I think you could easily make it have an internal magazine and make stripper clips for it cut and change some things and now you have a mini Kar98k
I just found an old Air Warriors Double Shot gun in my basement and an hour after I order more ammo for it, it suddenly out of nowhere, it breaks. Well, I kinda got a better gun out of it breaking because I got a Nerf Dual-Strike
Maybe the scope is compatible with the rail on the buzz bee snipe maybe bus we might come out with their own line of attachments that would be cool right :-)
accuracy does not come with a stock blaster. It's about the darts. *nothing* has a legitimate barrel stock, and therefore the barrel length is all similar, and a lot depends on the darts Also, *all* blasters don't like worn darts because it has a bad fit. You could offset the magwell to the right but they have the BuzzBee Snipe for mag fed power bolt action. Also, have you tried cross compatibility of scopes among other buzzbee blasters? (snipe, rangemaster, old predator) They look like they'd be buzzbee rail compatible

Actually, and surprisingly, it's crossbolts that overwhelm my store. I nabbed one on clearance for $16 to try a strybolt integration
Though I do actually really enjoy my Slingfire and get pretty damn good performance out of it. It was my primary for awhile when I got back into Nerf

The blaster looks pretty nice, but it would look even better if the "scope" sat an inch or two closer to the stock.

I sawed off the barrel so that it's more like a hard-hitting pistol with a stock for when you need stability.

It's an intended barrel attachment.
It's _meant_ to go on any N-Strike attachment point.
You should try to make it magazine fed. I've seen it done with the older version.
