The only thing this video is missing is the fact that the money from being in the Premier League will not only pay for our new stadium but also 1,200 new houses, leisure, restaurants, bars, a retail centre and community areas which will help rejuvenate the town, this all before the council decide what to do with the land that Kenilworth Road currently sits on. I remember sitting at many away games in the national league. Travelling a 500 mile round trip to see us beaten 5-1 by Darlington. I sat at Wembley this weekend proud of the team and proud of the town. Very positive to see the Asian community there in numbers. A team on the up and hopefully a town on the up. COYH
I’m in the same boat as you and people will doubt us next season, but we know how good Mick Harford and Rob Edwards recruitment is. I think we’ll finish 16th or 17th. COYH!
What very few people realise is that they could have a very bright future. Their U18 and U16 teams won their leagues this season too, so if they can push these players up into the first team, they will continue to recruit well and save millions instead of buying. Watch out for a very smart midfielder called Zac in their U16s team. I watched him play 3 or 4 times now and he is so comfortable on the ball. Future Iniesta or Xavi
As much as it hurts as a Watford fan, I admire what they have done with Limited resources and don't begrudge Rob Edwards the success. They have exactly what Watford need, a TEAM and not a collection of players. Congratulations and hopefully we play eachother in the Premier League in 2024.
Brilliant video but Gary Sweet needs a mention. Given his heart and soul since joining and he’s been the driver of the great recruitment they’ve had recently, not to mention being on point with managerial appointments and dealing with losing star players like Andre gray and James Justin

As a football fan I'm very delighted to see the promotion of Luton Town. This is why we love football. It's clubs like Luton Town which helds the spirit of football at the core.
At the time Luton Town were relegated to the non-league football back in 2008/09, there was a big story about the amateur club who became an European elite. After successfully created Red Bull Salzburg, an Austrian football giant, the energy drink company made a big deal with SSV Markranstädt for a takeover. The club was fully renamed itself as RB Leipzig, but DFB prohbits the usage of sponsorships to be included in the club name, they used an unusual "Rasenballsport" term, which means "Lawn Ball Sport", but the club still recognized RB as an corporal identity for the Red Bull. They played all games in Zentralstadion, one of the venue for the 2006 World Cup, which was renamed Red Bull Arena. On the first season as RB Leipzig in 2009/10, the club won the Oberliga-Süd and achieved an automatic promotion to Regionalliga Nord. The club narrowly missed a promotion to the 3.Liga in 2010/11, but had multiple success in regional competition (Saxony Cup), which resulted in the DFB Pokal participation starting in 2011/12, at which they stunned everyone by winning 3-2 against VfL Wolfsburg on the very first round. After narrowly failing to achieve an impossible twice, RB Leipzig played in 3.Liga after yet another historic win over Sportfreunde Lotte in the playoffs. Now this is where the golden era has been truly started. The club signed a lot of young players, but the biggest one was the introduction of the future Bayern Munich defender Joshua Kimmich. At the end of the 2013/14 season, RB Leipzig beat Saarbrücken 5-1 to secure a second-place finish and yet another promotion, this time to 2.Bundesliga. However, the success led to the big issues with the club, as the Bundesliga was the competition being controlled by DFL and the club itself are still yet to have a license. Thanks to a magic from Ralf Rangnick, the club successfully gained a license and had to play in 2.Bundesliga. They also signed some good players, most notably Marcel Sabitzer and Sami Khedira's young brothers Rani (who is currently playing for Union Berlin, another East Germany side that will play in the Champions League for the first time after 4th-place finish this season). Initially, the club struggled on the first season of the 2.Bundesliga, but managed to finish 5th at the end of the season. The club also made a historic win over the mega-rich Paris Saint Germain on the pre-season friendlies by 4-2, with Terrence Boyd had an infamous moment by wearing Zlatan Ibrahimovic's shirt. Preparing for the historic 2015/16 campaign, the club sold Kimmich to Bayern Munich and replaced him with a record-breaking transfer in form of Davie Selke. Rangnick now served as a manager and sporting director simultaneously. The club itself then won a promotion to the Bundesliga by beating Karlsruher 2-0 along with 1.FC Nürnberg. The gegenpressing general then left the club and was replaced by Ralph Hassenhütl. Ultimately, the club finally achieved an impossible thing: the first European football in 2017/18, where they finished 2nd in Bundesliga, but they had to wait until 2019/20, when the club's performance in the European competition was reached its peaks by defeating the likes of Tottenham Hotspurs and Atletico Madrid to play in the Champions League semifinal. In the last season, RB Leipzig won the first major silverwares through DFB Pokal and also reached the Europa League semifinal. They are now on course to win another DFB Pokal this year, facing VfB Stuttgart in Berlin on Saturday. Also, this year, there was Sudtirol, who are on course to play in Serie A for the first time, despite being raised in Germany. They had just won the playoff semifinal against Bari with a last-minute goal.

The former players will be available at a discount, I'd imagine. Anyway, congrats to Luton Town! I'll be watching next season and will hopefully be able to attend a match next Spring when I'm in England on vacation. Good luck, Boys!

Not sure what being a Bournemouth fan has to do with it but thanks
proper honest club in the premier league, well done Luton
I was at Wembley when we lost to York in 2012, and then watched as we beat Norwich next season. Even then I never thought id get to see them in the prem. I watched the final this weekend in the pub and it was something I'll remember forever. Up the town!
COYH!
I think we won't waste money we will add a few bits of quality and I reckon we will shock a few teams especially at home
Only recently moved here and im sooo invested in this team ❤
What very few people realise is that they could have a very bright future. Their U18 and U16 teams won their leagues this season too, so if they can push these players up into the first team, they will continue to recruit well and save millions instead of buying. Watch out for a very smart midfielder called Zac in their U16s team. I watched him play 3 or 4 times now and he is so comfortable on the ball. Future Iniesta or Xavi
Luton towns stadium should be cherished and protected in my opinion
True but rules were brought in early 90s and other teams have spent money bringing stadiums in line. Why should Luton be different?
As much as it hurts as a Watford fan, I admire what they have done with Limited resources and don't begrudge Rob Edwards the success. They have exactly what Watford need, a TEAM and not a collection of players. Congratulations and hopefully we play eachother in the Premier League in 2024.
Brilliant video but Gary Sweet needs a mention. Given his heart and soul since joining and he’s been the driver of the great recruitment they’ve had recently, not to mention being on point with managerial appointments and dealing with losing star players like Andre gray and James Justin
Apologies I missed that, Andre was a great player when we had him at Burnley!
Incredible video, a very good insight for fans who may not know a lot about our journey. Bring on the premier league!
Full respect to you Vizeh! So well researched! 👏
WE ARE PREMIERE LEAGUE I SAID WE ARE PREMIERE LEAGUE. The last couple of days the town has been partying and the atmosphere has been unreal. Really good for this Town.
As a Wrexham fan I’m watching the Luton town story very closely. It could just happen to us🏴
Elliot Lee in 2 fairytale stories would be nice
Look the way of Heidenheim. It will be your way 😊
I'm a Watford fan and have nothing but respect for Luton Town. Their owners, business model are everything WFC are not. Good luck next season, it really is a fairytale story and good for the game. I think you have every chance of staying up and I hope you do. We all need good feel stories like this, regardless of rivalries.
I have a feeling their home ground will be a fortress and it’s home form that keeps you up.
Great video. I'm Luton and I'll back my team all the way whatever happens, it'll just be another chapter in our story...One thing for sure, the future is bright ...
luton defenders having to play against haaland next season is going to be fun to watch
Haaland one season wonder
@@glencurtis6052 :))))))) that's delusional to say the least..
Hopefully Coventry replicate what Brentford, Villa and Luton have done after playoff heartbreak in recent years and come up next year.
Love this, I’m a Hatters fan from Australia, started supporting them back in 2013 when I visited the UK, what a club 🟠🎩
Fair play to luton, showing everyone it's possible to get to the top with hardwork and teamwork not just money
People have forgotten Wimbeldon. Went from amateur to FA cup winners and finishing top 6
Yes
Make a video about Ruch Chorzów if they get promoted back to the Polish Ekstraklasa, the most successful Polish team in history that until recently was playing in the 4th tier before making an amazing comeback to the top
Would love too, I don't think my twitter comments will allow me to doa video on anything Polish sadly haha
This is why we love football ❤. For stories like this
It's about time I did a video on a postive topic for once haha!
@@Vizeh can you do a video on RC Lens please? They recently qualified for the Champions League group stage for the first time in 20 years
@Vizeh - I’ve started really enjoying your style of content, have watched quite a few of them in the past few days. Thanks for the quality content
As a Canadian I didn’t know any of this. I really appreciate the video.
luton fan here ..great video and a wise prediction too ..bravo
This is truly an incredible story
Hi Vizeh I saw the Promotion Final game between Luton Town vs Coventry City what a game that was and thank god Luton won I really wanted them to win now their stadium situation will be interesting now
as a Watford fan, even though this makes me incredibly depressed I am happy for Edwards and Luton, they’ve fought and clawed up to the top while my club have been the complete opposite and have fallen off a cliff
Cheers mate hope you lot go bust
Never once did I feel so proud about something I found just 13 minutes ago. Well done Luton Town!
I think they could probably surprise some people would love to see them at least just stay in the prem hopefully they get some good signings and update their stadium asap this is why we love football for stories about clubs like this
Bro I wrote during the bus parade today "Osho,Maldini has pics of you in his bedroom" and HE LAUGHED!!!! I was soo happy
As a football fan I'm very delighted to see the promotion of Luton Town. This is why we love football. It's clubs like Luton Town which helds the spirit of football at the core.
Luton will place 16 pretty comfortably they are unbelievable and I think they can go far btw great last few videos keep up the work
Loving these documentary style videos
Thank you so much for the time and effort you’ve put into this.I’m a Luton fan.I feel on top of the world right now.COYH🎉❤
You brothers went down and up like a damn siren! Congratulations from an Eastleigh fan!!!
Dont forget, the reason they are called "The Hatters" is from a massive hat making history there
Part of me wants to see City open either at Turf Moor or at Kenilworth, I think it'll be a fun watch that opening weekend! At the same time though I feel like City hasn't opened the season at home in years.
Good video, well researched, I agree , our asset will be our home, Vincent Kompany paid us the compliment, he said he wanted to see us in the Premiership, and to see how some teams will cope with the “atmosphere “.....
Yeah it’s never a boring season with us
And never will be hahaha
I know you’ve heard this a lot recently Liam but I absolutely love the transition you’ve made to the video essays this year. Keep it up man
I was there for the 09 win at Wembley, and I was there at Wembley the other day to see Luton get promoted to the premier league. Amazing.
People seem to forget about Wigan Athletic Fairy tale rise ,they were playing non-league football in 1978 went on to play in the premier league win the F.a Cup and play in Europe. I haven't mentioned Wimbledon as they didn't get to play in Europe due to Liverpool.
Great video. As a Charlton fan, I could look on with envy, but in this case I don't feel any at all. It's their time now. Some day, some distant day, it could be ours again, although I'm not too hopeful
Nice one !
Happy I got into football last year just in time to watch my local get promoted it's great
quality per usual, great stuff Vizeh
Love you mate!
2008/09 League Two
Luton receive -30 deduction
Bournemouth receive -17 deduction
Now both will be in the Premier League next season
That’s insane to think about really
@@Vizeh You should do a video on bournemouths story it's really interesting 🍒
@@Vizeh Luton's initial rise and decline was very reminiscent of my team Northampton going from the 4th division to the 1st division and back in a single decade between 1960 and 1970, glad to see Luton have recovered but sadly we've only had those few golden years in the top 2 divisions
Excellent stuff, Viz! ...Although also, gotta wonder how Watford feels after firing Edwards and seeing all of this happen this year.
Seeing as the board just offered a new contract to the guy who told the Pozzo's to get rid of Edwards, most of them are fuming, which is hilarious 😅
Let us not forget that Burnley are back in the prem with over 100 points.
A sentence from NathanConnerTV's video:
'We might not even get 30 points, but who cares? We're Premier League.'.
Even as a watford fan, i applaude this.
this deserves a tv series or some anime
Never heard of a "Luton Town". Thanks for sharing.
So true what you said about English heritage, the prem has a new layer to it now 😀❤️🏴
Luton are an inspiration for every football fan ❤
I dont have the biggest knowledge about football so watching your channel is great for learning 👍
cant even describe how surreal it is to go on youtube and have videos about luton all over the place, this time last year the only luton videos were fights lmao
Let's not forget Luton we're a founding member of the premier league but got relegated the season before the inaugural premier league season
Such an inspirational story i hope they win the premier league some day
Really enjoyed your video, mate. Honestly, I wasn't paying any attention to Luton Town before they signed Ethan Horvath (I'm American) on loan from NF back in July. Which, I believe, was a significant factor in their success. I love a good underdog story, so I will be pulling for Luton to stay up next season. The final against Coventry was exciting to say the least. I'm hoping they will pick up some of the other Americans that will undoubtedly be on the market over the summer (Aaronson, McKinnie, Adams from Leeds and/or Pulisic from Chelsea). The former players will be available at a discount, I'd imagine. Anyway, congrats to Luton Town! I'll be watching next season and will hopefully be able to attend a match next Spring when I'm in England on vacation. Good luck, Boys!
Remember them beating my team (Wrexham ) in back to back playoff semis 10 or 11 years ago and to see them hit Premier league in less than a decade is amazing. Proper football story . Well done Luton . Hope we can join you there one day
Luton and Bournemouth both have a claim to the title of best story and road to the Premier League, and even though I wanna be biased and back my beloved cherries more than Luton I have to end the competition there. Luton are a great side and its incredible to see another smaller outlet come through the ranks and enter the promised land just like us. Their ground is just the icing on the cake!
honestly as a derby fan, i hope they finish with more points than we had, i want luton to stay up and succeed
Love the videos, man. Keep it up!!!
Amazing video, so far for what i have watched. I love this channel!
I'm a spurs fan and I think it is fantastic that Luton are in the premier due to the fact that I have spent pockets of my childhood up there I'll be rooting for them too .
Im so happy i found your channel. Good shit dude
i have been loving your content bro keep it up❤
I love the fact i can see my house in the intro😂
2013/14:
Luton Town: Conference Premier
Yeovil Town: Championship
2023/24:
Luton Town: Premier League
Yeovil Town: National League South
English football’s craziest and most unusual contrast in fortunes in the last 10 years
I truly wonder what it will look like in 2050?
Also, the last time Luton Town were playing in top-flight back in 1991/92, Oldham Athletic were still there. Now, they become the first ex-Premier League clubs to go down to fifth tier.
Congratulations LTFC. From s Leicester fan
Wish you all the best. In the prem
Hppe we see you there next season😊
I’m Luton fan and finally I find a long, good vid for Luton🧡🧡🧡COYH🧡🧡🧡
This is what English football is about 👏🏼🏴⚽️
