My Momentum 3’s started stuffing up so I took them in, got a replacement and the replacement wasn’t charging properly, so after a few weeks (today) I go in and they offer me a refund or another replacement. Turns out these NEW ones just came out 2 days ago! So I go online and see this RUclips title and multiple reviews saying they are amazing! So yippee to me, new earphones in exchange for my older worn out ones and only 100 extra AUD to be paid!

Mtw 3 has bad white noise in transparency mode. Is the noise level less in there?
There is still some white noise with transparency but it is a Lil better

That is what they said about the previous models either but I am done with them as the batteries are bad ( models 1-2) I stick now on the really inventive buds from iPod Pro 2

Currently i have the Sennheiser TW4 and the Audio Technica ATH-TWX9. Hope u can review the Audio Technica coz for me it's a sleek looking earbuds with both touch control and physical buttons (stem design) and sounds amazing making it close enought to the Momentum TW4!! it's an underrated earbuds.

Which would you recommend: The Momentum 4's, Jabra Elite 10, or Denon Perl Pros for best sound quality?
Haven't tried the denon but I'd take the 4s over the Jabra

@@Gemneye6 actually cancel that. I used bigger eartips and the Jabras are x10 times better than the MTW4. I had to return the MTW4 in less than 24 hours. They are really bad. Terrible fit, ANC, comfort, overall really disappointing, especially for this price. Basically same as MTW3, no real changes. Actually downgraded in calls and mic pickup, but also the bass is weaker. Jabra Elite 10 all the way. Much better and surprisingly cheaper.

I tested them last week together with the Sennheiser Momentum 4 and AirPods Pro 2 and Sennheiser Momentum 4 had the best sound of the three, clearest with greatest audio quality. They may not be the best allround earbuds but they are King of Sound (besides the Denon) as several reviewers testify to. As for price, quality costs.

I have been using Technics AZ80 for 2 months, had to try out momentum 4 also, returned it 2 days later. AZ80s have much better sound, soundstaging is on another level there, ANC is also better, didnt liked the ANC on sennheiser and hissing sound which comes with it. Sennheisser are using the same old components from previous versjon, even their box shows bluetooth version which is older. Technics are way ahead of its time so im still sticking to that.
Anyone noticing these disconnecting once in a while? Did it twice and I just started using them today. Is this normal or do I need to return? Because I’ve heard this in the comments before.

Good questio' : aptx lossless only works up to CD quality 16 bits/44.1 khz and aptx hires( lossy )with 24/96

I think you summarized everything very well in a few words.
The only thing I might add would be that if you have the MTW3’s and you’ve had the issues that so many have had, you might get the MTW4’s which SHOULD address those issues. After all that’s the main reason they even released these, because the MTW3’s had so many issues that apparently couldn’t be solved via firmware updates.
@@ProudBostonian If you have m3 and you have issues, you dont buy m4, you just buy another producer 😃 Technics for example, a better soinding tws.

I ordered it and it arrives today. But I'm a little nervous. I've owned every iteration of these things, and every single one has had the same issue.
After 2 to 4 months an earbud stops working and there's a metallic sound of something jingling inside it, like something dislodged.
Never dropped them, and it's happened every time. They kept replacing them for me, but at some point I got tired of it and moved to the Bose QCii.
Here's hoping.

@@andrewsmith9241 it's interesting that you've shared the problem. They were always quick to replace it, but there came a point where it felt like they didn't buy my story. It happened too frequently.
They made it sound like they hadn't heard of the issue until me, but as often as it happened I assumed it must have been wide spread.
While I've got ya, in my experience the largest tips provide the best audio (deeper bass and a fuller sound), though the medium tips provide the same seal. Which is weird. But I'm curious if you've had the same thing?
Makes me wanna wear the larger tips all the time, but they give me ear fatigue.
@@bringhurstvr I had a very similar experience...getting my 4s tomorrow..here's to hoping they fixed the quality issues..I actually usually buy after market tips for my buds
They are same size as the 3’s which is extra large. Goodness
These things are 429.99$ Canadian.
I am sure they will fall in price very soon, just wait 3 months or so. Then we will know more about probable quality issues with this series as the predecessor had reportedly.

call quality is as bad as with MOMENTUM True Wireless 3 . not worth the upgrade when you already have MOMENTUM True Wireless 3 . still very annoying that you cant deactivate the touch control its plain st pid ,rain will fu up on the road.

Sennheiser is a no for me. The last two versions haven't lasted. My favs are Denon and Master and Dynamic's

@@DigitalSlang Sennheiser has made good, but I now have Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 3, and again they have gone bad, and they are out of warranty. At their price level, I need ones that will last. Can't afford to buy every couple of years. Their sound quality is outstanding along with excellent customer service.
They have a 2 year warranty with great customer service. They will replace your buds if they have issues

These are barely an “S” tier upgrade, MTWS3.5 if you ask me.
Technics AZ80 are the better buy at this price point.
We get it. You got the Technics and don't have money to upgrade to the MTW4s. Now stop acting like you're doing reviews. Calling the MTW4 garbage as you do in your videos shows how biased you are. Best combination of sound quality and ANC by far.
