I even returned my Sonos, Bose QC ultra, M4 for beoplay ex.. I don’t understand how these ear buds sound even better than over ear headphones? I am truly waiting for beoplay ex successor, I hope they hone in on the anc and it’s over
MTW4 has some connectivity issues. A couple times a day the audio drops out for a couple seconds while it reconnects. Multipoint is only partially supported - the app only works on one device at a time so you can’t adjust settings like EQ or noise cancellation from all the devices you may be using. Strange when the pairing is multipoint and audio playback is multipoint. The sound is fine but also somewhat plain and neutral and uninteresting.
I only experienced a connectivity issue once during the short time I had it. It's interesting to hear about the multipoint feature; it definitely needs some work then.
@@MrCrazyGuy24it does have connectivity issues, on my work computer if I connect the mtw 4 videos would act weird it will play for like 3 seconds and pause, when I connect the Apple AirPods Pro 2 video plays perfectly. Also I have the pro 2 way before the mtw 4, only after and only when the mtw 4 is connected to the mtw 4 I have problems soon as I disconnect from computer and put mtw 4 in the case, no more issues. Another thing happen to me the other day is when I got into a nyc subway train at rush hour, all New Yorkers know what I’m talking about train pack like sardines, as soon as I enter train, I have connectivity problems, I’m guessing it was the close proximity to all the other Bluetooth device from other people.one side stop working then I put the buds in the case then the other side came on and the then the next earbud stop working I was like wtf, so I put the buds in the case and took out my AirPods Pro 2 then I had no more issues. But mtw 4 sounds good. Every now and then you have connectivity issues enough to be a deal breaker the positive way outweigh the negative, my next earbud will be the denon pearl pro.
I’ve never tried the Beoplay EQ. However, I prefer the B&O sound signature overall. The best advice I can give you is to try both and return the one you do not like. Cheers
@@elisamuelpedraza8228 I used the comply foam tips for both actually. It’s funny, because the comply foam tips were for the MTW4. However, when I put the comply foam tips on the EX I saw that tips fit on them too. I actually preferred the silicone ear tips with the MTW4 and the foam with the EX.
The mtw4 is a small upgradeto the mtw3, more so in quality control. Sennies did what bose did to the qceii and qce ultra. The mtw4 with sound personalisation is great. But the ex is still better, by a fair margin. As an overall tes, the mtw4 is probably better (including anc). But the ex is the best jn sound quality.
Most reviewers disagree with you and believe the Sennheiser 4 is better. A clear majority also rank the B & O behind Sony's best, Airpods Pro 2, Bose's best and Jabra Elite 10 never mind Denon. But in the end it comes down to personal preference. All these are quality.
@northernlights9814 again, I take reviewers with a grain of salt due to the reasons above. And no, the beoplay EX still has the best sound. Full stop. It has a better mic than most (including Sony and bose) It has ip57, which is better than most, if not all actually. It came out a few years ago, and that just shows how advanced it still is. Also the price of these keeps going up. Depending on where you are, these came out at 650aud. It's now 730aud (feel free to check the website as proof). While the rest of those brand you mentioned keep going down. The mtw3 was as low as 199 recently. The xm5 was about 319. The bose was similar. The jabra was about 259 i remember seeing. It's certainly not the best in anc and lags the other brands yes, but when you have comply foams and it fits well, the anc is just fine. And more importantly, compared to the mtw3, it certainly is still working. Hey it's OK. You spent your good money on the mtw4, just enjoy it. Ciao

I’ve never tried the Beoplay EQ. However, I prefer the B&O sound signature overall. The best advice I can give you is to try both and return the one you do not like. Cheers
The VO play EX is by far better than the momentum for especially when it comes to sound
Have you tried the Sound Personalization feature of the MTW4? This improved the sound stage and base for me surprisingly well.
I did use the sound personalization feature,which helped, but I still wasn’t getting the bass and loudness that I am used to from Beoplay Ex.
Completely agree with everything you said and I own both. Perfectly covered both well for a quick review.
