Thanks for the review. The only problem I have is you didn't use a device that was actually capable of AptX Lossless. You had the setting turned on on the buds, but you used a Samsung device, which doesn't support Aptx Losses. It's not using the buds at 100% capability, so the audio review isn't entirely accurate.
@@jasonMB999 It makes an absolute difference, especially to the audience he's making videos for. The people who watch actually care about AUDIO QUALITY...and AptX Lossless is the current pinnacle. Just because you don't care about it, it doesn't mean it doesn't matter. That would be like buying a sports car, driving it around your block, and telling everyone it's an okay car, but they should stick to their Corolla. He didn't actually use it the way it was supposed to be used, so how can he say completely that it's a no-go? El Jefe and Picky both do the buds right by using devices that have the AptX Lossless codec, although Picky still streams over Spotify vs Tidal Hi-Fi or Qobuz.
@@RetroKid i streamed on tidal too and wasted money on premium sub. Expand your mind and appreciate audio the way it is. Don't narrow it down to some stupid atxp uhd connection that will require a specific device with a specific streaming app with a specific choice of subscription.

Cheers! Completely agree, the mtw3 (barring the qc issues), are good enough compared to the mtw4. However they have upgraded the reliability (supposedly). I see the mtw4 as what the mtw3 should've been. Still loving my beoplay EX though!
Activate sound personalization and once on the settings you will see a round pointer you can scroll up and down and side to side. Down is for more bass, right is for more Treble. Up is less bass and left is less treble.

To add some things that other reviewers have pointed out: the Momentum 4 is somewhat better than Momentum 3 when it comes to battery life (slightly longer), ANC (slightly better), sound clarity (slightly better) and connectivity (which you indicated). No huge differences but an upgrade even so. Many also rave about the gorgeous copper black colour which only the Momentum 4 can offer. Whether this is enough for someone to upgrade from Momentum 3 to 4 is a personal preference. Perhaps Momentum 5 in a couple years will be a bigger change.
If you use a Samsung phone, you are NOT experiencing loseless, even if u select this option in the Sennheiser app. The Samsung phone has Qualcomm Aptx Audio which is 16bit. To experience true loseless Aptx HD, you need a compatible Android device. This will be 24bit.
When u got the update, does this enable autoplay when u have your RUclips vids playing?? And I have 2 issues with TW3s. 1. Poor NC. 2. Connection still active when put back in the box, I have to un pair them each time 😢
Sorry for the late response. I haven't had any issues with them staying connected after putting them in the case. It does take a second or two for my device to recognize they were turned off. The play/pause feature works perfectly for me so far.
I like them but it does take some adjusting to get the sound right. I do have a little trouble getting a tight seal with the stock ear tips. One problem that I have found out is that the case isn’t very accommodating to xl ear tips. Still working with them.
One question - Momentum TW4 or Master & Dynamic MW09? I know that the price difference is huge, but I’m reviewer of smartphones and earphones and I’m looking for unusual earphones for daily use in breaks from testing other models. I'm also thinking about Beoplay EX.
ive had the original Sennheiser 1's the 2's and the 3's had problems with all of them having one side not working and my friends had the same issues - will never buy Sennheiser ear buds again... happy with my Gemini 11 and Nobal Fokus Prestige---these kicked the sennhesiers out of the universe...

I will be returning these immediately. They have a lot of basic issues that you don’t see on cheap earbuds let alone top of the line ones. There is a buzzing and hissing noise that shows up in transparency mode or noise canceling mode, especially on the left side. There are connection issues where the music will drop out for a couple seconds before itreconnects. The application has various limitations. For example the touch controls cannot be mapped freely. Some actions can only be mapped to a particular number of taps. The app does not even work for multiple devices. Even if both devices have a working Bluetooth connection for your music the application that lets you change the equalizer will only work from one device. So you either need to keep both devices with you or constantly redo the pairing. There are just too many annoyances that would not be acceptable even if it costed $100.
Strange as I have none of the hissing sound or connection issues. Maybe you got lemon or I can’t hear it 😂. For me they are definitely better sounding than AirPods Pro 2 and Sony WF5. Good luck finding what you looking for. All the best

@wendpanga01 Transparency mode on these are good. The ANC is just as good as on the MTW3, but not on the level of the Bose CQ Ultras.

Devialet Gemini II or Sennheiser Momentum TW 4?
IMO, I would go with the Gemini IIs over the Beoplay EX. I will be comaring the MTW 4s and the Gemini IIs soon. Stay tuned.

sound wise the EX2s are my number ones.
I have Beoplay EX and Jabra elite 10. Just git the MTW 4s. I set them up with Wavelet EQ and that was the magic ticket. They are my new favorite 🎉

The settings did work on my S23 Ultra at the time of this testing. I tried again, and those settings are no longer available.

You are correct about the settings. It did work during this test, but I tried again with the same phone and the settings are not available.

I was going to purchase these but their rating on Amazon is only 3.9
