Exhaust is a little underwhelming from stock. I've unplugged the valves to add some more depth and grumble which makes it slightly better. You can get some small pops if you hit the limiter in first gear, but nothing major. I plan to have the two centre silencers removed in the next few months which adds a lot more aggression to the exhaust sound
Never been in a Fiesta ST, however my first car was a 185bhp Audi A1 which was pretty much the same 0-60 time as an ST. All I can say is the S1 blows away the 185 A1. The 2.0 engine is great and the Quattro system just makes the car a league of its own.
I'd say go for an S1 as well, ive got a zetec s red edition with 160 brake and thought of getting an ST for my next car. However, the performance you get with an S1 is unreal for what it is as a simple remap is 300+ hp.
Does every car video these days need inane, generic music with squawking sounds instead of vocals? Is this the aspirational "I have a bit of spare cash" soundtrack? An otherwise great video, ruined.
You’re right about the lack of content on the S1, your video is now one of the top results for the search term.

wish they also made it with a s tronic, I would have defo been sold, not a big fan of the manual anymore
I wish that too. I've heard the 2018/19 model will come with Stronic...
Alex Rogers hope that’s true, will defo have one then, seems silly not putting the s tronic on all of the s models, but see what this year brings

Not quite ;) But it did take a hammering. The cheese clutch is still going strong
