@@AidenLuz This is just speculation, but I think it's a bit of a protest against the new rules and maybe the whole situation between the FIA, the manufacturers, and the drivers right now. He said that the schedule was too grueling and he wanted to take a year to recover and then come back, but he's doing drifting and dabbling with track racing this year as well, so I'm not too sure if that's the real reason.
