Plusle and Minun's colours reference the usual coloured ends of magnets - red and blue, as well as the colours of the original Gen III games - Ruby and Sapphire. Given they were made to show off the new Double Battle mechanics this works perfectly for them.
5:38 I think the pink is there because lots of mammals are born very pink and seeing as the other forms are more accurate to real life it makes sense the baby sloth is more pink
Interesting observation about Deoxys’ shiny colours: DNA is made up of combinations of four distinct chemicals called nucleobases. The four nucleobases are Guanine, Cytosine, Thymine, and Adenine. In many diagrams and illustrations, the four nucleobases are each given a colour to identify them. Though which particular colour is associated with which nucleobase can vary, the colours used are almost always the same - red, blue, green, and yellow. Normal Deoxys is red and blue, to match two of the nucleobases, and shiny Deoxys is yellow and green to match the other two!
Funny story about Swablu: My friend and I were playing Pokemon GO together and he started singing “Swablu, why are you Swa-blue, you should be Swa-gold!” And just then, I found a shiny Swablu in my game! He was pissed! “No Swablu! Wrong game!” It was hilarious! 😂

>Lockstin trying to explain why normally copper colored Skarmory wings are green in its shiny form<
- "I have no idea."
>Lockstin explaining why shiny Registeel is green<
- "It must be made of copper which turn green when rust."
Ahhh yes, the *BEDLUM* line
Plusle and Minun's colours reference the usual coloured ends of magnets - red and blue, as well as the colours of the original Gen III games - Ruby and Sapphire. Given they were made to show off the new Double Battle mechanics this works perfectly for them.
So I'm the only one who though that Sableye's shiny was making him... sable color?
13:30
rain castform be vibing
With deoxys, red, blue, green, and yellow could also be referencing the 4 bases atcg, as those colors are also used commonly in text books for those.
Milotic's shiny makes it look like hatsune miku
I like that when he said "Metagross line" and it's shown to be bad, but when he says "Salamence line" then it's normal
All the castforms: just vibing
Rain: *PANIC*
5:38 I think the pink is there because lots of mammals are born very pink and seeing as the other forms are more accurate to real life it makes sense the baby sloth is more pink
Shiny Cascoon is just a forbidden piece of matcha mochi
Interesting observation about Deoxys’ shiny colours:
DNA is made up of combinations of four distinct chemicals called nucleobases.
6:14 Azurill is notably *not* a water type pokemon, even if it isn't very intuitive.
Funny story about Swablu:
My friend and I were playing Pokemon GO together and he started singing “Swablu, why are you Swa-blue, you should be Swa-gold!” And just then, I found a shiny Swablu in my game! He was pissed! “No Swablu! Wrong game!” It was hilarious! 😂
The transitions are super clean, really pulls the whole video together imo.
