- Learn how to the markings on quilting rulers to do ruler quilting on your projects. There can be lots of markings on a ruler template - which is a good thing - but it can also be confusing. Kim explains how to use these markings to create accurate spacing between quilted lines when quilting on your domestic sewing machine.

Yes that is a hard concept to wrap your head around, but to add to that is anchoring stitches at the start and locking stitches at the end so there’s no bird nest. I find this very frustrating. Thanks for sharing your video. 👍❤️😊
Never even thought to use the ruler to guide my free motion quilting? Did you drop the feed dogs?
Yes, you set up your sewing machine similar to if you were free motion quilting but you must use a ruler foot (thicker base) with rulers to do this technique.
