So glad you brought up having Darnold run close to the end zone. At least have him roll out and present that threat!

How about Danile Jones in short yardage plays? He is a better runner than Darnold.

Darnold played in a big NFL game in Carolina, final game of the season against Brady and Tampa Bay, winner goes to the playoffs and he played pretty well.

As far as running the ball in the red zone the Vikings should give the ball to C J Ham. I believe he could put the ball into the end zone if the Vikings can get a half decent blocking scheme for him. Say for instance using Ed Ingram in a half back position to lead block.

@@lloydpearson2138 facts we need to start playing bully ball instead of trying to Justin Jefferson our way to a Superbowl 💪💪💪

I’m actually worried that the rams are rested and will be fresh but the Vikings are also tested and ready too. Should be a good one

Vikings have great TE room- KOC could help Sam Darnold out and greatly improve scoring in the Red Zones using multiple TE sets down there. This puts defense in a bind! Run & Play Action Pass gives Vikes an Edge in the RedZone & Sam is big & Mobile. Note Ingram might be a good substitute for Risner on Run & Play Action Pass in Red Zone. Risner beeps and backs up - Works for passes awful in Red Zone.

i think we should have Jones as QB2 over Mullins. I hear Matt's arguments, but I just get flashbacks to his first snap this season when he got a good chunk play.... But it was a hospital ball that got Aaron Jones injured.

I just don’t think we focus on the run game enough and now this will be problematic going forward

Why would you want a thin-skinned quarterback that is scared of a little competition. The best ones in the game thrive in that situation.

We need to stop trying to make hockenson a thing... you don't trade elite players to your division rivals...we got fleeced.

He also is 1 year removed from 2 ligament tears in his knee and he was elite pre-injury.
Should rebound next season with a full offseason program

Lions secondary loves to intimidate receivers by going helmet & shoulders into opposing Tight End's knees as they secure ball and start turning up field. I say dirty. Hock is just coming back from a full reconstructive knee injury suffered vs Lions last year. Hock looked tentative vs Lions last week. I think Hock will play much better vs Rams and hopefully beat the Lions next.

This is a mental thing over thinking pressure to succeed fear of failure playing tite not loose doesn’t look like there having fun like when it wasn’t as important? Maybe? I don’t know let’s hope it was just a one time fluke and we can go back to Detroit 3rd time is a charm lol

Honest questions - Was KOC bad? Was JJ bad? Was Vikings Offensive line bad? Obvious 1) Sam Darnold has had a very good year at QB for Vikings. Obvious 2) Sam Darnold played bad vs Lions last week. Obvious 3) If Vikes Head Coach & Vikes Offensive line, & Vikes WRs have a bad night then Sam & Vikings are going to lose.
Patrick Mahomes & Allen are only 2 QBs who can single handedly will their teams to playoff wins. Note Lamar is great - But struggles in playoffs. If Vikings plays well - Sam wins games. NFL is a team game.

seems like most Viking fans need Darnold to be Mahomes or Allen in the playoffs or he stinks and needs to go! I guess the Chargers need to dump Herbert after today. Green Bay needs to dump Love after today. Broncos need to dump Bo Nix I guess because he obviously is not good enough to win a Super Bowl. Hurts had a measly 131 yards today, move on from him as well. People are just clueless and have no clue, and they think McCarthy is automatically going to be Josh Allen, Tom Brady and Mahomes!
