Thanks for avoiding the boring explanations! I love the enthusiasm. Also, thank you for the info. I am tired of my super ugly front-end clear bra coating. It is ready to be removed.
Thanks! I’m not a detail pro, just wanted to try to take a nasty clear coat off that has been scratched. Tried this with a hair dryer and it definitely didn’t work people. Don’t waste your time. I’m going to order the heat gun. Probably need it for something again someday and not too expensive. Thanks for the tips.
I needed a way to remove the film on our truck and it is breaking up as you pull up! So I will try the rapid remover! Thank you for your video, enthusiasm and a great video!!
I just took the clear bra off my car hood & mirrors. I started with just a hair dryer & it helped but I could tell it would take some time. A steam cleaner was suggested but all I had was an Oreck floor steam cleaner. SOOOOOOOOOO I put that to the test. As it is on the clear bra, I am also scrapping it off with a plastic scraper. Did not take as long as I it would have with just the hair dryer and much easier.
Lol...you make it look easy, that obviously had not been on the car very long because on my volvo it was a very difficult task getting it off. Mine did not peel off near that easy.
I totally agree. My truck’s 3M bra was installed almost 12 years ago. Even using a heat gun, the film would not peel off. It took a heat gun and plastic scrapers and the film slowly and painfully came off in melted globs. Just a really messy, painful and difficult task.
Really appreciate the information and the presentation … you are energetic, and go to the point … thanks for not wasting our time with endless repetitions... Keep On
It's the Phil from FlexSeal School of Hyperexaggerated Inflection, where every sentence must rise to a crescendo of amazement, and the overemphatic rising tones, along with wide eyed astonishment and flapping hand gestures, sell the pitch with compounding superlatives, even if the product is recycled toilet paper. They must get a trade discount on exclamation points. Pitchmen perfected this style in the good old days of traveling salesmen and counter demonstrations, and it obviously works. Here on RUclips the product is often the subscription to the site - uh, like, I'm already watching for free....
Can u rewrap after u clean it? I had a front installed & when it get ugly, I'd attempt to remove clean but let my detailer buff & reinstall. Looks like it DOES keep it lookn good. U should have your own tv show, u hsve a broadcaster voice/very interesting.
I am in Franklin TN. I have a 2007 Mercedes that the dealer talked me into this bra when I bought the car. It is horrible and I want it removed. After years it is cracked and discolored and makes the car look horrible. I have been looking for someone to remove it. We were able to do the mirrors and a little off one side but it took forever with a regular blow dryer and it won’t peel off on it’s own ( at least we had a really hard time getting just a little if it off. The dealership recommended a body shop but they said they don’t do that sort of thing.
Just got a white 2020 tundra with clear plastic coat on the whole hood and a few other spots and live in Florida I've seen a lot of cars here where it turns yellow and or black do you recommend removing this now or later?
I thought you did a great job for this video. My question is does it help if we spray the rapid remover first on top of the clear bra before heating it up ? Or is there another thing we can spray on top of the clear bra first before we heat it up and help remove the glue under it ?
The film on my vehicle is oem from 2006. it is cracked looking and yellow on a black car. Im afraid that if i try to peel like you show, it would just come of in 1 inch pieces. any other tips on how to remove it?
Clear Bra and its cousins get my vote for the worst invention ever. Half the time the area must be repainted. A great item for additional dealer markup, nothing more.
Good question, honestly I would have to try, my incling is yes, but I would need to test it to say definitively because I’m no super confident on that one
7:23 alright alright jeez take a breath dude, calm down.. here, take my last roll. just promise me you'll pay it or giving it back to me as soon as you can alright? you understand? good, lit it up.

Yep! They are not really that expensive
You are absolutely one amazing person. Thanks for teaching us about detailing.

That's because it was old. No way his was old to peel off like that. Old paint takes time and will crack up.
This is the best video hands down! Thanks so much.

What temperature did you use on the heat gun?

Great video and instruction details! Thanks, Luke....Now, how much should a complete removal cost at my local dealer? I have a Toyota Corolla.
Great video just what I needed. Well done
Thank you! Very informative.
He was removing a recently installed 3M film that's not hardened & cracked. Once it's in that condition it's difficult to remove in large pieces.
Is there a special auto detailer I should be looking for to get this done?
Ok, I'm in!! 2015 Rav4 is in need of help! .....LOL I am ready to get her paint etc up to par!!!

It exactly what I need to do on my Volvo. Tnx for filming.
Did the clear bra faded or peeled off??
@@felixt1470 Clear bra faded and started peeling off on my 20 years old Volvo> Thanks for watching Felix!
Would I be able to use a steamer instead of a heat gun ?

Great video!! Thanks so much ♥️
will it work on a clear bra on a Saturn Vue that has turned white and looks cracked?
What type of pad did you have on your polisher when you applied the 105 and 205?
Will the Rapid Remover take car of the 3M clear bra used on RV's?
Great video subscribed!

Thanks! Good vid!
Do i need to remove my protective film before wrapping my hood in vinyl??
What heat setting do you set it to
Instead of rapid remover can I use citrol ?
what is the protective film is cracked all over from 8 years of sun. Heat gun didn't help, it's more of melted it together
Then it won't peel off like that.

Strips of adhesive left behind normally when you pull it too fast. You’ll have less if you don’t tear it off.
(For future watcher) 🎉
Good job
What happens when paint starts coming off with it
What do you think of adams polishing product
What State, area are you in?
If you tied his hands down....would he be speechless. Dude give up detailing, more money in pitching as seen on TV stuff...talk to Ronco.
Hahahahahahaha!
That’s not very nice, he seems like a nice and knowledgeable kid..
